ACCIDENTALLY BOUND TO THE ALPHA QUARTERBACK
Honeybird · Ongoing · 184.8k Words
Introduction
Ariel Carter just wanted to survive high school, save money, and escape her cold, manipulative aunt. She definitely didn’t plan on being dragged into werewolf politics, bullied by the school’s Alpha queen, or accidentally bonded to Zack Miller - the arrogant football star and future pack heir.
Zack never wanted a mate. Especially not a quiet girl who seems determined to hate him.
But a supernatural bond ties them together, one neither of them can break. As Zack starts seeing the truth behind Ariel’s strength and pain, and Ariel uncovers secrets about her past, danger closes in from every direction. A rival hungry for power. A hidden truth about her bloodline. And a past that refuses to stay buried.
In a world where love can be a weapon and destiny is never gentle, Ariel must decide if she’s willing to claim her power - and her heart - before it’s too late.
Chapter 1
Rosa’s Cafe smelled like coffee and warm pastries, the kind of smell that clung to your clothes long after you left.
It was the only cafe in Maplewood, the kind of place where everyone eventually passed through. Students came in after school, teachers stopped by in the mornings, and on weekends the same familiar faces filled the tables. In a town this small, there were no strangers - only people you hadn’t spoken to yet.
Ariel Carter worked part-time behind the counter.
She wore a faded apron and moved on tired feet, wiping her hands on the fabric as she restocked napkins and wiped down the counter. She had been on her shift since noon, and by late afternoon her legs ached and her smile felt practiced. Still, she stayed focused. Rosa paid well enough, and to Ariel every dollar saved was like a small promise of escape from this wretched town. Not that she’d saved much; her aunt always found a way to remind her that every dollar belonged to the house bills, not to her.
The bell above the café door rang.
Ariel glanced up automatically, already preparing the polite greeting stuck permanently on her tongue. The words died before they reached her mouth.
Zack Miller, the school quarterback, walked in.
He wasn’t alone. Andrew - his best friend - was with him, taller than most people in the room, broad-shouldered, and calm in the way Zack never was. Zack, on the other hand, entered like he owned the place - hands loose in his jacket pockets, confidence sitting on him like it had always belonged there. His dark hair was slightly messy, his posture relaxed, and his laugh carried even before he spoke.
Ariel’s stomach tightened.
She ducked her head and pretended to focus on wiping the counter, hoping they wouldn’t notice her. Hope, however, had never been on her side.
Zack scanned the cafe and immediately spotted a girl sitting alone near the window. She had long brown hair, glossy and styled, and she looked up the moment Zack’s gaze landed on her. Whatever he said to Andrew made his friend snort quietly, but Zack was already moving.
“Seats taken?” Zack asked the girl, flashing a smile that had probably worked on half the school.
The girl shook her head quickly, smiling back. “No.”
Zack and Andrew pulled out chairs and sat down without hesitation. Ariel watched from behind the counter as Zack leaned back, stretching his arm over the chair beside him like the space already belonged to him. He started talking immediately, words spilling easily, confidently.
“…and then I ran straight through the defense,” Zack said, his voice deliberately loud enough to carry. “Coach said it was one of my best games this season.”
The girl’s eyes widened. “Really?”
Ariel clenched her jaw.
She had been present at the game volunteering - handing out water and collecting equipment. She remembered every play. Every missed opportunity. Every moment Zack had almost scored, but didn’t.
Zack kept going.
“Two touchdowns,” he added casually. “Maybe three. I lost count.”
Andrew leaned back in his chair, arms crossed, lips twitching like he was holding something in.
Ariel let out a slow breath.
She grabbed her order pad and walked toward their table, her steps steady even though irritation burned under her skin. She stopped beside them, standing straight.
“What can I get you?” she asked.
Zack didn’t even look at her.
He kept talking to the girl, his voice lowering slightly, more charming now. “It’s not easy being the guy everyone expects to win.”
Ariel felt a smile tug at her lips.
She turned her attention to the girl. “If he’s talking about last Friday’s game, I was there.”
Zack froze.
The girl looked up at Ariel, surprised. “You saw him?”
Ariel nodded. “Yeah. And I don’t remember him scoring anything.”
Silence fell over the table.
Zack turned slowly, his eyes locking onto Ariel’s face. “Excuse me?”
“I said,” Ariel continued calmly, “I don’t remember you scoring. You played well, sure. But two touchdowns?” She shrugged. “That didn’t happen.”
The girl’s expression shifted, confusion replacing admiration. “So… you lied...?”
Zack straightened. “She’s mistaken.”
Ariel met his stare, unimpressed. “I’m not.” Her hand brushed her apron pocket. “I recorded the game, actually.”
Andrew’s half-smile grew wider as he watched the exchange, clearly enjoying every second.
The girl stood, gathering her bag awkwardly. “I think I’ll… sit somewhere else.”
She didn’t wait for a response and walked away. Zack stared after her, his jaw tightening, irritation flashing across his face as the attention he’d enjoyed slipped right out of his grasp.
Ariel watched her go, her hands sliding casually into the front pocket of her apron. Satisfaction warmed her chest, small but undeniable.
She turned back to the boys and pulled out her notebook. “So,” she said evenly, “what will you boys have?”
Zack pushed his chair back roughly and stood. “Suddenly, I’m not hungry.”
He shot Ariel with a sharp look, irritation written clearly across his face. “Let’s go.”
Andrew hesitated. “Man, I could still…”
Zack grabbed his arm and pulled him up. “Now.”
Andrew sighed, already reaching into his wallet. “Vanilla milkshake to go, please.”
Ariel wrote it down without comment, though her smile returned when Andrew met her eyes and gave her a look that said worth it.
They left moments later, Zack storming out first, Andrew trailing behind with a shake in hand.
Ariel leaned against the counter as the door closed behind them.
“Wow.”
She turned to see Jenna, her classmate and bestfriend, perched on a high stool at the counter, books spread out in front of her like she’d been studying the entire time. Jenna’s raised eyebrow said otherwise.
“You’re way too happy for someone who just scared off two customers,” Jenna said.
Ariel shook her head. “No I’m not.”
Jenna sighed dramatically. “Your face says otherwise.”
Ariel smiled and lifted her hand, holding her thumb and index finger close together. “Just a little.”
Jenna laughed softly. “Why do you hate him so much? I know Zack’s a jerk most of the time, but still.”
Ariel’s smile faded.
She leaned her elbows on the counter, exhaustion settling back in as the memory surfaced. “He gave me homemade breakfast at school once. Really good. I thought he was being nice”
Jenna blinked. “That’s it?”
She swallowed. “Turns out it was from Megan.”
Jenna stiffened. “Oh.”
“They had just broken up. She made it to get him back,” Ariel said. “When I went to return the container, she saw me with it and accused me of trying to steal him.”
“And Zack?” Jenna asked.
Ariel laughed bitterly. “He said nothing. Just stood there and let her believe it.”
Jenna’s mouth tightened. “That explains a lot.”
“Since then,” Ariel said, “school’s been hell. Megan and her cheerleader friends won’t leave me alone.”
She straightened, forcing a small smile. “So yeah. Seeing Zack annoyed for once felt… fair.”
Jenna reached over and squeezed her hand. “Just be careful,” Jenna said quietly. “Zack isn’t the type to take humiliation lying down. He’ll get back at you.”
Ariel nodded, though part of her already knew it was too late.

I hate girls like her.
Entitled.
Delicate.
And still—
Still.
The image of her standing in the doorway, clutching her cardigan tighter around her narrow shoulders, trying to smile through the awkwardness, won’t leave me.
Neither does the memory of Tyler. Leaving her here without a second thought.
I shouldn’t care.
I don’t care.

How Not To Fall For A Dragon
Which is why it was more than a little confusing when a letter arrived with my name already printed on a schedule, a dorm waiting, and classes picked out as if someone knew me better than I knew myself. Everyone knows the Academy, it’s where witches sharpen their spells, shifters master their forms, and every kind of magical creature learns to control their gifts.
Everyone except me.
I don’t even know what I am. No shifting, no magic tricks, nothing. Just a girl surrounded by people who can fly, conjure fire, or heal with a touch. So I sit through classes pretending I belong, and I listen hard for any clue that might tell me what’s hidden in my blood.
The only person more curious than me is Blake Nyvas, tall, golden-eyed, and very much a Dragon. People whisper that he’s dangerous, warn me to keep my distance. But Blake seems determined to solve the mystery of me, and somehow I trust him more than anyone else.
Maybe it’s reckless. Maybe it’s dangerous.
But when everyone else looks at me like I don’t belong, Blake looks at me like I’m a riddle worth solving.
Alpha Nicholas's Little Mate
What? No—wait… oh Moon Goddess, no.
Please tell me you're joking, Lex.
But she's not. I can feel her excitement bubbling under my skin, while all I feel is dread.
We turn the corner, and the scent hits me like a punch to the chest—cinnamon and something impossibly warm. My eyes scan the room until they land on him. Tall. Commanding. Beautiful.
And then, just as quickly… he sees me.
His expression twists.
"Fuck no."
He turns—and runs.
My mate sees me and runs.

Falling For The Biker: The Vice President's Girl
His eyes darken, flicking to my mouth.
"It's wrong. Your brother would slit my throat for just standing this close. But tell me, little bird" his breath ghosts my skin, "are you trembling because you hate me… or because you've wanted this just as much as I have?"
Wren thought she'd buried the chaos of New Orleans for good—the clubs, the blood-soaked loyalties, the men who lived and died by their kuttes. Seattle gave her everything she ever wanted: freedom, love, a future.
But one betrayal shatters it all.
Dragged home by tragedy, Wren finds herself under the watchful eye of Ezra Jax—the Raven Reapers MC's vice president and her brother's best friend. He's infuriating, dangerous, and far too tempting for a man she should never touch.
And the deeper Wren is pulled back into his world, the more she realizes nothing about her past—or about Ezra—is what she believed.
In the chaos of gang wars, mounting debts, and old betrayals, he becomes the one constant. The more she fights him, the harder she falls. And the more he pushes her away, the more lethal his pull becomes.
Because in this world, love isn't sweet.
It's brutal. Bloody.
And it's bound to break them both.
When loyalty is everything and love can cost your life, will Wren risk her heart on the one man she was never meant to love?
A pack of their own
The mafia princess return
The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.

But she doesn’t know about the child she’s carrying or that the moment she left, Domonic decided rules were made to be broken - and now will he ever find her again? Will she forgive him?
Let Them Kneel
Cast out by her pack. Forgotten by the Lycans.
She lived among humans—quiet, invisible, tucked away in a town no one looked at twice.
But when her first heat comes without warning, everything changes.
Her body ignites. Her instincts scream. And something primal stirs beneath her skin—
summoning a big, bad Alpha who knows exactly how to quench her fire.
When he claims her, it’s ecstasy and ruin.
For the first time, she believes she’s been accepted.
Seen.
Chosen.
Until he leaves her the next morning—
like a secret never to be spoken.
But Kaelani is not what they thought.
Not wolfless. Not weak.
There is something ancient inside her. Something powerful. And it’s waking.
And when it does—
they’ll all remember the girl they tried to erase.
Especially him.
She’ll be the dream he keeps chasing… the one thing that ever made him feel alive.
Because secrets never stay buried.
And neither do dreams.
The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.
