After Being Mistaken for His Savior, I Don’t Want Him Anymore
Hannah Air · Completed · 8.8k Words
Introduction
I fell to my knees before him, begging him to send his warriors to save my father and brother. I even offered him half of my family's territory in exchange. His only answer was a slap across the face.
Only after he killed our unborn child with his own hands did I finally understand. The man I'd once risked my life to save, the man I'd given everything to love, had never believed me. Not once.
With nothing left but hatred, I threw myself off a cliff.
Everyone thought I was dead. They were wrong.
One year later, I returned at the head of the Nightshade army, determined to make him pay for everything he'd done. This time, I brought the once-mighty Alpha Alexander to his knees. When he finally knelt before me, trembling as he called my name and begged for forgiveness, I drove my sword straight through his heart.
Chapter 1
"Alexander! Please—help me! I’m begging you, send warriors to save the Lil Pack!"
I dropped to my knees on the marble floor, the cold from it seeping into my bones. My hands trembled as I clutched at the edge of his black boots. "I know you hate me. But just this once, please—help us. If you send your warriors, I’ll ask the Moon Goddess to break our bond and I’ll disappear from your and Lilian’s lives forever."
Alpha Alexander’s silver-grey eyes swept over me, sharp and glacial, reflecting my pathetic, disheveled state. He was the Alpha of the Solis Pack—and my husband for the past year.
That morning, the news had shattered me: the Lil Pack, my pack, was under siege. Two enemy packs—Bloodfang and Silverclaw—had joined forces against us. My brother, Alpha Jasper, and my father, former Alpha Caleb, were leading what was left of our warriors. But seventy percent were already dead or injured. They wouldn’t last another hour.
If Alexander had just sent his soldiers, they could arrive in thirty minutes. My father, my brother… our people… they could still be saved.
I abandoned every shred of dignity I had left. My pride, my grace—they meant nothing compared to the lives at stake.
He leaned forward, the silver tip of his sword hooking beneath my chin, forcing my face upward. His tone was mocking. "Is that all you have to offer?"
A spike of pain tore through my chest. Through the pack bond, I felt them—my warriors, my family—falling one by one. Their dying howls pierced my mind, raw and soaked in blood.
I clutched my stomach, curling forward, my voice breaking. "Half of the Lil Pack’s territory… half of our sacred spring. If that’s what it takes, take it! Just save them!"
Alexander’s hand shot out, fingers clamping around my wrist as he shoved me against the heavy wooden door. His strength stole my breath. "You think scraps like that could sway me?" His voice was ice. "Your brother ambushed me years ago. He left my wolf spirit crippled. While I was fighting to recover, your pack stole my land and used it to force me into this bond."
My head snapped up, fury and disbelief burning in my throat. "What ambush? My pack never” My words faltered as the bond to my father and brother wavered, growing weaker. They were slipping away.
"Please," I whispered, desperation cracking my voice. "Jasper was misled. Yes, he took your land—but we gave you half our sacred spring in return. I’ll do anything, Alexander. Just send your warriors."
"You think a single sacred spring erases the Lil Pack’s sins?" His hand lashed out before I could brace myself. The slap was sharp, the sound echoing in the hall. My head whipped to the side, and I tasted blood.
"This is your retribution," he said coldly. "If Lilian hadn’t saved me, your pack would have destroyed mine."
Rage and disbelief clawed at my chest. "I was the one who saved you!" My voice cracked. "You were unconscious, Alexander. I carried you on my back through snow for three days and nights! Lilian is a frail omega—how could she have done that?"
Three years ago, I’d met him on a moonlit patrol. He’d single-handedly taken down my team, pinning me to the frozen ground, those silver eyes cutting through me like steel. I’d thought of him ever since.
Two years ago, war broke out. He was struck down, left bleeding in the snow. I’d found him, hidden him, nursed him in secret for three months. When my father dragged me back to the pack, I’d begged a gentle omega to watch over him, leaving my moonstone necklace with her—my keepsake—so he would know it had been me.
But she lied. Lilian claimed she’d saved him. He believed in her. He loved her for it.
When he agreed to our bond, I thought—naively—that maybe he’d realized the truth. That he cared for me. That he didn’t hate me.
On the day of the ceremony, he walked in with Lilian, heavy with child, and declared before every pack that she was his savior. That he would cherish her forever. The humiliation burned deeper than any wound.
I slapped her. Called her a liar. He’d only held her closer, walking away without looking back.
It wasn’t until Lilian gave birth that he stopped treating me like something filthy. We shared a bed. A month ago, I’d found out I was pregnant. He’d seemed… almost happy. I had believed, foolishly, that maybe I could make him love me.
Now his eyes narrowed, confusion flickering for a fraction of a second before it hardened again. "You saved me?" He scoffed. "You never stop lying."
"Alex, don’t be mad at Stella," a soft voice chimed in from the doorway.
Omega Lilian’s perfume drifted into the room as she glided toward him, her pale dress fluttering like butterfly wings. She pressed herself to his side, looking up with wide, innocent eyes.
I bit back my fury, my nails digging into my palms.
Alexander’s hand slid protectively into her hair. "Stella, Lilian is my true savior."
She tilted her head down, her eyes meeting mine with a flash of smug triumph. Around her neck, the moonstone necklace caught light.
My moonstone necklace.
The one I had left for him.
And then—just like that—my link to my father and brother snapped. The silence in my mind was deafening.
The fight drained from my body. The world tilted, grief and rage swallowing me whole.
The last thing I saw before the darkness took me… was Lilian’s smile.

Taste of Fate: The Vampire King's Human Mate
He reached for the back of my head and pulled me up just enough to reach my neck. When his fangs slid into me, the pain was instant, electric. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t think. My hands found his shoulders, clawing for something to hold. My legs kicked. Tears streamed down my cheeks.
He moaned against my throat as he drank, and the sound was devastating.
Love's Deadly Equation
I was sent to her.
To watch her. To protect her. And, when the order comes… to kill her.
My name is Keegan Caffery. I’m the Carter Mafia’s best hitman. I don’t miss. I don’t fail.
At least, I didn’t use to.
I don’t know what it is about her that got to me first—her mouth, her mind, or the way she looks at me like I’m not what she should fear.
I’ve had a gun to her head since I walked into her life.
She knows it.
And she still doesn’t run.
She just watches me back like she’s studying a problem she refuses to call impossible.
She’s the one variable I can’t control.
And God help me… I don’t want to.
I have an order. I have loyalty. I have a trigger.
But every time I imagine it—
I can’t stand it.
Her or me. That’s the math.
It’s a deadly equation I don’t want to solve.
⬥ Maisie ⬥
I’m not ordinary. I stopped pretending long ago.
My name is Maisie Seo. IQ 145. Clinical genius.
Which sounds impressive until you realize what it actually means: I don’t fit anywhere people expect me to.
I see patterns everywhere. Outcomes before they happen. People like equations I’ve already solved.
It gets lonely in a world you’ve already figured out.
So I dull myself down. Smoke the edges off. Pretend, badly, to be the kind of normal that lets people stay.
Then he walked in.
I knew what he was immediately. Dangerous. Intentional. Wrong in all the right ways.
I should be afraid of him.
I keep waiting for that to kick in.
Instead, I’m fascinated.
Because for the first time in my life… I’ve found something I can’t solve.
He is my deadly equation.

Inked Adonis - Mafia Romance
Of me saying I want to climb him like a tree.
And he just. Texted. Back.
It's the dog's fault, really.
If this untrained Great Dane I'm walking had any manners at all, I never would've ended up here:
With my leash wrapped around the most gorgeous man I've ever seen.
Lucky for me, the guy is a good sport about it.
(Although his joke that “Dogs take after their owners” hits a little too close to home when Rufus starts humping his leg.)
He leaves me with his business card and a smile that makes my knees weak.
I'm still pinching myself as me and the bestie resume our walk.
“Methinks you had a little crush on him,” she accuses.
Not thinking and a little flustered by the whole experience, I reply, “I’d wrap my legs around his waist tighter than that leash.”
THAT'S when she reveals that she'd been recording my response.
THAT'S when she gives me the most devilish grin I've ever seen and says, “You're welcome.”
And THAT'S when she hands me my phone and reveals...
She sent the recording to him.
My heart is in my throat as those three little dots appear…
Then a text.
“PROVE IT.”
My Billionaire Husband's Secret
He was the CEO of the Blackwood Group — a man whose wealth and power eclipsed ninety-nine percent of the world.
He was gentle. Romantic. Attentive. I fell for him fast.
But a year into our marriage, I began to notice something — a pattern.
Lucas's sexual appetite was intense — he wanted me almost every night. Yet every single month, he arranged a solo trip to send me away. I told myself it was his way of spoiling me.
Then a message arrived from someone called Sweet An.
Do you really know your husband?
From that day on, my life filled with shadows.
I suspected my husband of having an affair.
When Lucas and I made love, something felt wrong — his body too large, too much, like something I couldn't explain.
I heard sounds during sex — animal sounds, like something feral had crawled into bed with us.
My best friend Mia said: "There are men sick enough to let dogs fuck their wives."
The family doctor, Daisy, told me: "You could never stay by Lucas's side forever. Your background doesn't make you worthy of being his wife. Do you understand?"
I went looking for whoever had been tearing my marriage apart. I fought to win my husband back.
But the deeper I searched, the larger the secret grew — something far darker hiding beneath this supposed betrayal.
Does Lucas truly love me?
And why, out of everyone in the world, did he choose to marry me?

My mate began watching me.
Protecting me.
Holding me whenever I fell.
Looking at me like he was terrified of losing me.
If he hated me...
Why did he keep risking everything for me?

MOONLIT CHASE
But no, I had to walk through the park at midnight like an idiot. Now I've seen something I can't unsee—a massive black wolf tearing apart three men, then shifting into the hottest guy I've ever laid eyes on.
Kieran Vaughn. Wealthy lawyer, werewolf, and apparently, he thinks I'm his mate.
Here's the problem: I don't do relationships. I definitely don't do supernatural things. I absolutely don't do rich guys who think they can control my life just because their inner wolf has decided I smell like home.
When hunters start targeting me to get to him, Kieran drags me into his pristine penthouse for "protection." Now I'm living with a man who looks at me like I'm his last meal, whose touch sets my skin on fire, and who's barely holding onto his control.
He says everyone he loves dies. I say that's not my problem except it is because I'm falling for this broken, dangerous man and his beast.
And in his world? Love will get you killed.

"Don't fall in love with one piece," he warns her, over a board neither of them treats like a game anymore. "It punishes the person who only sees half of it."
Mara doesn't understand why the boy who's supposed to make her life harder keeps quietly making it easier—not until she realizes the anonymous stranger she's been writing to every week already has a name.
His.
He doesn't know he's writing to her, either.
By the time they find out, it's too late to stop what's already happening. Far too dangerous for anyone to find out.
In an empty studio, in the middle of a rainstorm, she asks him: 'Am I the kind of girl who kisses a boy engaged to my sister?'
He doesn't answer.
So she asks: 'What are we?’
He told her not to fall in love with one piece.
She fell anyway.
And he was never far behind.
