Chapter 1
Mild snow frosts gently descended on an opaque glass covered with snow as well as on the airway field from the dark firmament, shrouding the whole airport station with its white substance, which delayed the anticipated departure of air flight A43 that was due for take-off. The air terminal was overcrowded with passengers who were extremely impatient by their delayed flight which had surely passed the scheduled time for departure.
Most of the passengers were irritated by the security guards who were boldly preventing them from crossing the barrier that separated the two sections away from each other, acting as a checkpoint which contains a monitor device that promptly scans each individual as well as their hand luggages for any illegal equipments including contraband items that might enter the aircraft, which have been placed on embargo by the Canadian airways as stipulated in their official guidelines for all costumers which permitted and ban certain items that are considered illegal to be carried inside any aircraft, which are conventionally not allowed in any known airway station.
A rout mob, consisting mainly of furious passengers subsequently gathered as time greatly elapsed into the night and gradually became uncontrollable since few security guards weren't enough to withstand the heavy mob while some patient passengers who were humble enough to sit down quietly from afar, waited patiently for the delayed flight A43 to resume which they feared would be rescheduled to another day.
More guards were urgently needed to quell the tense situation that was becoming grossly hostile as more passengers fervently demand for permission to gain access into the air bridge which was connected to the main door of the aircraft while some also demanded for a refund.
Unknown to them, one of the staff workers had slipped from his desk and had pushed the alarm button which resounded all over the termina. In response to the urgent summons, armed security personnels trooped into the scenery from within as though they had long been preparing to attack the innocent plebs.
Some bystanders who stood afar, looked transfixed at the coarse scene as more armed security guards poured out from the restricted areas of the terminal. Some of the bystanders queued at the check-in desk waiting for their bagged to go into the hold kept on looking spellbound at the occuring incident unfolding in front of them with their hand luggages which they held tightly.
The departure lounge was soon turned upside down by the angry mob who tried to put up a fight against the highly trained combants who carried transparent shields and long black batons as well as sophisticated SMG weapons in order to suppress the rising tension between the security guards and the aggravated crowd. The guard successfully pushed back the crowd with less casualties but still found it difficult to get the angry mob under control whom proved headstrong as they faced the armed guards head on using their barehands and strength.
“Allow us through! We're running out of time!",
a man in a black T-shirt and blue trousers who apparently was in his late forties shouted aggressively. He was the instigator of the whole incident and had incited the crowd against the security officers who tried to calm the protesters.
"I'm sorry but we can't proceed",
“That's totally ridiculous. You know that the scheduled time for departure has already expired”,
An agitated old man in green tuxedo commented.
“Yes, we are all aware of that”,
A female staff work standing next to a security officer replied and checked her wristwatch on her left wrist, to see if they had trailed far off from the actual time for the passengers to board the aircraft.
“Then what's the damn reason for the unnecessary delay?“,
A young man in a black leather jacket questioned from behind the mob.
"The flight is on standby and being delayed by the adhoc forecast team which was set up because of warning signs of a forthcoming snowstorm. So I can't let you through after they are done checking the weather conditions",
a security guard nervously replied for he was afraid of the mob that has proven stronger than he had anticipated since the well kitted and trained guards surprisingly was strong enough to placate the angry mob even when they safeguarded the barrier with their transparent shields.
"That's all crap! The flight was originally scheduled to depart at 4pm today and as time elapsed, adequate information wasn't given to all passengers scheduled to board the flight. Further more, the weather had been fine until few hours ago when it indicated a little sign of a snow storm", the man vehemently pointed out while the others nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, he's telling the truth, I have been waiting here at the departure lounge for more than five hours now and we still haven't received any proper update concerning the current status of the flight", a lady in green T-shirt commented immediately which added fuel to their antagonism.
“They should have already given their reports by now”,
“That's right”
Someone else in the rout crowd seconded as the rowdiness as well as the tension between the mob and fretful officials began to mount higher. Rowdy murmurings amongst the tempestuous crowd started to brewing violently which instilled a great deal of fear on the staff workers except for the security guards who were waiting for an order to dispell the violent uprising.
"All of you should calm down right now, please bear with us because we are in the same desperate situation as you are since we are all trapped here waiting for the flight and we haven't received an official report to carry on with procedures of boarding passengers into flight A43, beside that, other flights which are scheduled to take off around 10pm and its passengers are quietly waiting patiently in order to board the flight",
the head of the armed security officers named Morrison, explained trying hard to pacify the crowd who remained adamant to his logical explanations.
"We can't keep on waiting here all night long for the flight to start its journey, if the flight is gonna be rescheduled, let us know so that we can return to board the aircraft", an impatient man in blue suit indignantly remarked for he was frustrated with the incapability of the staff workers and the poor information system of the airway station.
"I beg you all to calm down. We are civilized people and we don't permit any violent scene here which I believe you don't want either. Our airway management enacted a strict rule guiding against any sort of violence which obliges the use of coercion against uncivilized acts that might be displayed within and outside the premises of this building. So I advice you all to comply with our request to remain calm until we get further instructions and update from the forecast team which I believe will arrive soon",
Morrison boldly pleaded with a loudhailer while the agitated crowd listened quietly to his speech.
Everywhere was silently calm for a short while, even people on the lobby were quite dumbstruck when they heard what the guard said and were standing looking motionless at him as he gave the mega phone to his subordinate who took it away from him.
Morrison thought that he had succeeded in placating the agitated crowd and decided to come down from a high platform which he had used to address the mob including all passengers present in the terminal.
As he was about to dissolve the fully armed security officers who wore black vests strapped to their bodies, with the word "SECURITY PERSONNEL" boldly printed on it in white colour which had large fonts. Suddenly, a male voice, violently resounded from the back of the crowd, incited the sleeping mob into an uproar.
"We aren't gonna listen to your gibberish! Come on people, let's turn this upside down by showing them what a bunch of uncivilized people can do!", The voice resounded turning the scene into a violent fight between the masses and the security.
As the fight raged on, a female voice promptly intervened placating the violent riot which was transmitted through the tannoy system put in place by the official staff management for effective communications and transmission of informations to passengers. The intrusion created a tranquil atmosphere in the terminal which filled the whole building with dead silence as all the passengers listened spellbound by the transmission.

Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

The War God Alpha's Arranged Bride
Yet Alexander made his decision clear to the world: “Evelyn is the only woman I will ever marry.”
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
