Introduction
"What trick?" I asked him, and he got up.
He then picked up a knife. Did he save me just so he could kill me?
Wasn't leaving me for dead enough for him?
He left me to die in that forest after I freed him, and now this.
He then slowly cut his hand, and suddenly, I screamed in pain and looked at him.
Right where he cut his hand, on his left hand, I also had the same wound.
What the hell?
How is it that he cut himself, and yet I also have the same wound?
"This trick, you bonded us together, you stupid witch," he said, his face red with rage.
"No, I didn't, that doesn't make sense" I said, and his eyes started changing colour.
"Fix this now, or I will kill your entire coven. I didn't spend centuries looking for a way to be immortal just so a stupid witch could get me killed," he said, and I froze.
If we are bonded together, then since I am mortal, he is technically mortal as well.
If I die, then he dies as well; how did this even happen?
I didn't do anything; what the hell?
Chapter 1
The sky was grey and filled with lightning.
All that people could hear was the screams of their loves ones.
The war was at its peak, none of them wanted to lose to the other in this war.
Leading the witches in this war was Victoria, a very powerful witch who was motivated by revenge to win this war.
The Lycans have taken so much from them, killed so many of their people.
Now the witches were tired and wanted to put an end to it all no matter what.
That would be a hard thing to accomplish considering that their King and some of the Lycans were immortal.
They have been sacrificing and using witches to make themselves immortals which is why this needed to end then and there.
The Lycans were killing for their own selfish reasons.
They have been killing to cheat death; they were killing for immortality and it’s now or ever.
“I will handle the Lycan King, he is my demon to bring down” Victoria said to the coven leader who was covered in the blood of their enemy.
“are you sure? He is immortal and cant be killed, you might die before even doing any harm” the coven leader said.
Victoria just gave him a small smile like she already had a plan in mind.
And she did but she knew that its not something that they would approve but it needed to be done.
Although she wont leave them completely in the dark.
She will leave a message in case he ever escapes.
She then started walking towards the direction of the monster who was killing with too much ease.
“Logan, it’s now you and me. face me like a man” she said provoking him and he came closer to her.
His smile sent a cold shiver down her spine.
He was completely covered in the blood of her people.
That look reminded her of the most gut wrenching moment of her entire life.
Seeing him like that, looking like the beast that he is only gave her the confidence she needed.
She is the only one that can end this monster and she will do so without a care in the world.
How can she live In this world knowing that a monster like him is roaming free?
So, what if he can’t be killed?
Just like everyone he can be stopped somehow, and she knew the only way.
She didn’t move and stood her ground as he got closer with that look in his eyes.
The look of a monster, she knew that letting him get this close had its own risks.
But it’s the only way the spell can work.
When he was close enough she smiled which made his smile drop.
He looked at her confused, she should be terrified for her life but instead is smiling.
The sky that was filled with dark clouds changed; everything suddenly came to a standstill.
The world around them was silent.
So silent that it was actually deafening, and Logan stopped.
He watched as the lips of the witch kept moving but he couldn’t understand what was happening.
He watched as the sky that was filled with black clouds suddenly started changing colours.
The clouds were turning purple, then pink and then white until they weren’t any cloud left.
Suddenly they were somewhere where everywhere he looked they were stars surrounding him.
He looked at the witch confused, and she smiled and him.
Her face was pale, and he could hear that her breathing was faint.
She didn’t have much time to live.
But what the hell is going on here?
He couldn’t sense any other human soul other than hers.
It was as if he was in an entire new universe where there is only two of them.
Victoria was still catching her breath and she looked up with a smile.
“I spent months building this place for you. How do you like it?” she asked the Lycan King.
He looked at her, the look in his eyes was enough to scare anyone but not her.
She stood her ground because it didn’t matter to her what he did.
She is a dead woman anyway because that’s the price she has been willing to pay.
“I hate witches and your little tricks. What’s this place?” he asked her, and she just shrugged.
Now she could die peacefully knowing that her kids will be safe from this monster.
Without him the Lycans are powerless, they will be forgotten and be below the food chain.
He was the glue that was holding them.
Although terrible he was a great leader to them.
You take down the head then the body is rendered useless.
They wont be able to survive without him and will eventually die down.
“You look like you are going to die, and soon I will get out of here. Maybe in 10 years or a 100 years from now, but I will get out of her. But you, you are slowly dying” he said with a smirk.
“I know you will get out of here. Somehow you will get out of here but I believe someone will be here to put you back to this prison I created for you. We will keep putting you back here no matter what” she said and the Lycan King glared at her.
He knew that killing her right now would be a stupid move.
She is probably the only one who can get him out of here.
That’s why he really can’t stand witches, all the do is play tricks and play with people’s fate.
They curse people, not only one person but entire generations even the innocent ones.
“You are a stupid woman, killing yourself so you could trap me here” he said, and she shrugged.
“Maybe I am a stupid woman, but I need you to be here. Only then can I rest easily, you will be trapped here forever. No one will come and lift a finger to save you. The great name you have made of yourself will be forgotten, your Lycans will disappear like dust. No one will even remember your name, Logan Black will be forgotten forever” she said with a laugh.
She started coughing horribly and then looked at him again.
Her skin was getting paler and her pulse getting weaker.
He could tell that she didn’t have much time left.
But he could also tell that there is no way she will give out and get him out of there.
She was an angry woman who thinks that she has nothing to lose and even risked her life.
“All for a man huh? You are a very beautiful woman; you could have just moved on to another witch idiot,” he said to her.
“You don’t know love; you don’t know what it feels like to feel the kind of love that moves mountains. But do you know what? I pray that you do. I pray that you find love,” she said, and he started laughing.
He then stopped and looked at her.
“The rumblings of a dying woman huh, I am the Lycan King. I don’t have a heart and you hope I find love,” he said, and she looked at him.
“Out there, I know that the girl that will make you fall in love is out there. I know that you love her with all your heart, you might not have one, but she will awaken it” Victoria said.
His smile got wider at this.
“Tell me more, and she will change me into a better person?” he asked her chuckling.
He had a hard time keeping a straight face obviously making fun of her every chance he has.
“I hope she does, but you will lose her in the most painful way. That is the curse of a dying witch, you will watch your loved one die in front of your eyes. And there is nothing that you can do about it, that’s a curse and the last words from a dying witch” she said and slowly fell to the ground.
“You witches surely know how to waste your time huh, I am an immortal being.
I have met billions of women in my lifetime, but my heart has never moved even one bit.
I will continue to meet billions of women when I get out of here, and you will watch in your little corner of witch heaven. I will be enjoying my immortality” he said, and she smiled.
“That immortality you are so proud of will be your curse, you will wish for death to come to your doorstep. Mark my words Logan, you will wish that you could die” she said, and her eyes closed completely.
Logan looked at her and rolled his eyes.
It will take some time before they figure out how to bring him back home.
This witch really had to complicate his life just like that.
Couldn’t she just try to fight fair and square so he could kill her?
Did she have to bring in the big guns and sacrifice herself just to lock him up?
Well, he might as well take it as a sabbatical and enjoy the little time he has here.
See when you have forever waiting for you, then you don’t worry much about time.
Isn’t that just a luxury?
How many people in this world can proudly say that they don’t worry about time?
To humans time means missed opportunities.
For them time means getting older, it means getting sicker and then eventually dying.
But he doesn’t have to worry about that, how can immortality ever be a curse??

It clearly said that Valeska was Maeve and Thorin’s daughter. “You have been lying to me for months now. Why did you hide that she is my daughter? Why did you start hating me? Did you never love me?”
