Bound to the Alpha I hate
Grace Odu · Ongoing · 73.6k Words
Introduction
Bound and marked to be burned alive, she expects a brutal end. Instead, a single touch from the devastatingly handsome Alpha changes everything.
For twenty-nine years, Jeremy has been frozen by a dark curse—unable to feel desire for any woman. Until Zoe. Her touch is the only medicine that wakes his inner beast.
Spared from the fire but condemned to his torment, Zoe is made his slave. By day, she endures the pack's cruelty. By night, she belongs entirely to the Alpha who vows to break her. But the Moon Goddess plays the ultimate trick: they are fated mates.
When a deadly conspiracy forces Jeremy to pull the trigger on her himself, he thinks he’s buried his problem. He doesn’t know Zoe survived. He doesn't know she's carrying his secret heir—the most powerful Alpha ever conceived. And he certainly doesn’t know that the mysterious, lethal foreign princess entering his pack months later is the very same slave girl returned to burn his kingdom to the ground...
One trigger. Two enemies. A bond written in blood.
Chapter 1
Zoe's POV
"I'll ask you this only once because I don't like repeating myself... If you dare me after this, I think we all know what happens next."
His voice was angry and cold. I knew he meant every word.
"You better kill me now." I coughed the words out with leftover blood in my mouth. "Just kill me now because I won't say anything you want to hear."
I could see his anger piling up. I don't know what made him more angry...that I tried to murder him a few hours ago and my bullet hit his sister instead, or that I won't tell him who sent me.
"You must think those fools who sent you really care about you. You're willing to die for them?" He laughed but not the kind type.
"What makes you think someone sent me, Alpha?" I forced my head up to look at him. "And even if someone did, what makes you think I'll tell you? Just do what you people do the best here. Kill me."
The words came out smooth like I practiced them. Maybe I did.
I thought I was ready for this. I knew I had two options...kill him and run away before anyone gets to me, or kill him and get caught. But I wasn't ready for this third option where my bullet missed him and I still got caught. But my mind was made up, I'll take my secrets to the grave.
"Put her on torture B." He said with a fake smile.
I didn't know what that meant but I could tell he was so sure that would get me to talk.
A well-dressed guy standing near him...I think he was the Beta...winked at one of the men who'd been beating me since they caught me. The man walked to a fire pot in the room and pulled out a sword from the flames.
I became scared. Of all the punishments I imagined, this wasn't close to it.
The man walked to me without saying a word. He kicked me to the floor hard. Then he hit me with the hot sword.
It barely missed my belly and burned my back instead.
I screamed so loud, hoping the pain would just kill me at once.
"Speak." That cold voice commanded again. I didn't look up but I knew it was him.
"You're almost there," I whispered through the pain. I hoped he could hear me. "Few more hits and I'll be gone."
"Raise her freaking head up!" he screamed.
I could tell my words made him angry.
"Who the hell do you think you are?...Everyone who knows me knows I don't forgive any fool who crosses my lane... I promise you..."
He stood up from his chair and walked to the fire pot, pulled out another hot sword and came close to where I was kneeling.
He lifted my jaw with the hot sword. I groaned in pain. I could feel my skin melting against the hot iron. The pain got worse but I'd burned myself with fire before while training for this day. I'd prepared myself.
"Since you want to die so badly, I'll kill you piece..by...piece. Melting every part just like this until I reach your soul."
These weren't just threats. I could tell from his cold voice and deadly stare that he meant every word.
"Put more swords in the fire. Let's finish this." He told his guards. His voice got even colder as he fiix his gaze on me.
I could tell he'd done this before. I knew I was ready for death and torture but was he really going to melt me to death?
I watched him give the sword to a nearby guard. "Put that back in the fire. It's too cold already."
Then he bent down in front of me.
"You want death, you little weak thing? Death is what you'll get." He brushed some hair away from my face. His look was deadly, like he wanted me to feel his power.
"Where should we start, you poor thing?" He said in a mocking voice. He traced my whole face with his finger.
"Maybe your eyes that led you to my Pack." He traced circles around my eyes. This scared me more than the hot sword.
"Or your nose? Oooh! I think I know." He paused at my nose and made an evil little laugh before moving on.
Now I was really scared. I knew I promised myself I wouldn't talk but I didn't know how much longer I could hold on to the secret.
"What do you think about melting your tongue first?" He said it like a joke and forced my mouth open by poking it with his fingers.
I shut my eyes tight from the pain. I didn't want to look at his eyes because they promised worse than death.
But I opened them fast when I heard him groan sharply. He pulled his hands out of my mouth quick. His eyebrows went up. His eyes went wide like he just stuck his hands in hell itself.
Now I was shocked too. I swear I didn't bite him. So why did he react like that? And why was he staring at me like that?
Before anyone could think about his groan or I could understand what was happening, he groaned again. This time louder. He shut his eyes super tight like he was trying to keep the pain inside.
"Are you okay, Alpha?" The Beta guy rushed to him. He looked at me like I was dead meat.
"I swear, I didn't bite him! It's not me! I don't..." I was confused and scared as the words stumbled out.
He waved his hand gently at the Beta guy like saying let her be. Then he slowly opened his eyes. His mouth was still open a little. He stared at me. His eyebrows went up and down like he was looking at a ghost.
"Guys, let's take a break. Keep working on her. I'll be back." The Beta said this while lifting the Alpha up.
The Alpha kept staring at me even as they walked him out of the dungeon. He couldn't stop looking at me like something impossible just happened.

When he grabbed my jersey in that locker room and kissed me in front of twenty cameras, it wasn't a mistake. It was the moment the line between hatred and obsession finally snapped. The media called it a scandal. They called us a divorced couple. But they didn't see the way Ethan trembled when I cornered him in the hallway afterward.
"You're staring again," he whispered, his back hitting the wall.
"You're still here," I replied calmly, stepping close enough to feel his erratic pulse.
He thought I was cold. He thought I was controlled. He didn't realize that every time he looked at me, I was fighting the urge to completely destroy the distance between us.
Now, the league is forcing us to live together, train together, and smile for the cameras to fix our public image. But the more time we spend alone in my apartment, the harder it is to pretend I just want to play hockey...
After One Night with the Alpha
I thought I was waiting for love. Instead, I got fucked by a beast.
My world was supposed to bloom at the Moonshade Bay Full Moon Festival—champagne buzzing in my veins, a hotel room booked for Jason and me to finally cross that line after two years. I’d slipped into lacy lingerie, left the door unlocked, and lay on the bed, heart pounding with nervous excitement.
But the man who climbed into my bed wasn’t Jason.
In the pitch-black room, drowned in a heady, spicy scent that made my head spin, I felt hands—urgent, scorching—searing my skin. His thick, pulsing cock pressed against my dripping cunt, and before I could gasp, he thrust hard, tearing through my innocence with ruthless force. Pain burned, my walls clenching as I clawed at his iron shoulders, stifling sobs. Wet, slick sounds echoed with every brutal stroke, his body unrelenting until he shuddered, spilling hot and deep inside me.
"That was amazing, Jason," I managed to say.
"Who the fuck is Jason?"
My blood turned to ice. Light slashed across his face—Brad Rayne, Alpha of Moonshade Pack, a werewolf, not my boyfriend. Horror choked me as I realized what I’d done.
I ran away for my life!
But weeks later, I woke up pregnant with his heir!
They say my heterochromatic eyes mark me as a rare true mate. But I’m no wolf. I’m just Elle, a nobody from the human district, now trapped in Brad's world.
Brad’s cold gaze pins me: “You carry my blood. You’re mine.”
There is no other choice for me but to chose this cage. My body also betrays me, craving the beast who ruined me.

The Problem: I was trying to network my way into the C-suite. I think I just networked my way into his bed.

Iron And Glamour Just Don't Mix
Well… Sometimes you just might turn out to be right.
It turns out, the fae stole my little brother. In his place? A pixie with boundary issues and a talent for home repairs.
I’ve spent my life taking care of everyone else. So when my baby brother is taken, I don’t hesitate. I walk straight into a faerie mansion and make a bargain with its infuriatingly charming master.
Kie is everything you’d expect from a dangerous fae, beautiful, political, and entirely too amused by me. Power wrapped in a smirk. Sensual, mischievous, and far too aware of the effect he has on people. He agrees to help me find my brother.
For a price.
Now I’m bound by a faerie bargain and navigating a world of glamour, manipulation, and ancient rules I definitely should have learned sooner, enchanted forests, political games, magical contracts, and a fae lord who treats seduction like a perfectly reasonable negotiation tactic.
Iron is how I keep people out.
Glamour is how he draws them in.
And apparently, they just don’t mix.
