Chapter 1
The wind howled through the dense forest, rustling the leaves of the trees and sending shivers down Cara's spine as she stealthily made her way through the trees. The full moon illuminated her path, but it wasn't the light that worried her, but rather the shadows hiding in every dark corner. She had been following a lead for months, a lead that had finally brought her to the heart of the conspiracy that had kept her captive for so long.
Cara remembered the day she had made that fateful pact with Vincent, the wolf who had dragged her into this dark and twisted world of werewolves. She had been young and naive, desperate to escape a life of loneliness and abuse. Vincent lunged at her, his claws extended, but Cara reacted with supernatural speed, dodging his attack and throwing him against the wall with a power she had never experienced before.
A roar of fury echoed in the chamber as Vincent rose, his eyes filled with hatred. But Cara was no longer the same. She had found a hidden power within herself, fueled by the shining stone. Her wolf instincts had merged with the strength and determination of a human determined to break free.
The battle raged in the shadows of the sanctuary, an epic showdown between the ancient master and his former slave determined to break free from his chains. Cara moved with agility, evading Vincent's attacks and counterattacking with supernatural strength.
