Introduction
Shen Linze sent me a menu and told me to cook everything myself.
He invited all his close friends, plus the girl he was chasing, saying it was a birthday party for me.
On the long dining table were the stir-fried dishes I’d spent three hours rushing to make.
Shen Linze picked up a piece of sweet and sour spareribs and carefully held it to the girl’s mouth.
“Yaoyao, have a taste. I asked Su Qingyan to make them specially—they’re all your favorite dishes.”
The girl sitting in the main seat didn’t react at all.
Shen Linze put down his chopsticks and told the servants to wheel out a custom-made multi-layer cake.
“Do you like it? I designed this just for you. It has the place where we first met, your prettiest smile,
your favorite flowers, your favorite color purple, the wedding you’ve always wanted, and the initials of your name: ZY…”
Three months ago, I’d seen that exact cake design in Shen Linze’s office.
After he finished the design, he brought in several top pastry chefs from abroad and spent three months making it.
My birthday was coming soon, and I’d thought the “ZY” on the cake stood for the last characters of both our names.
I never knew it was just my own foolish wishful thinking.
Chapter 1
After remarrying, my husband Aaron Hill asked me to cook.
He called over his good friends, along with the girl he was pursuing.
"Anna, try it and see how it tastes? I had Sophia make it specially—all your favorite dishes."
Anna Sarah remained unmoved.
Aaron put down his utensils and had the servants wheel out a custom-made multi-tier cake.
Anna glanced at the cake, her tone flat, "Aaron, I've told you many times—I don't like getting close to married men. Instead of trying to please me this way, why don't you go comfort your wife? I remember you two just reconciled less than a year ago. Aren't you afraid she'll make a scene again?"
Hearing this, Aaron's lips curved slightly.
"She's just an old woman. The one I truly love is you."
Chapter 1
I stood at the doorway holding a plate, numb.
After two years of marriage, I knew Aaron's temper best.
As the heir to the corporation, he chose to marry me to secure his position as CEO.
I thought he loved me, but I was wrong.
His mother, Haven Hill, had seen through his nature long ago. She once told me, "Men all like to play around. He'll probably cheat again in the future. If you can't take it anymore and want to leave, you can come to me. I can arrange your divorce and compensate you with whatever you want."
Aaron, since you like chasing novelty so much, I might as well let you have it completely.
I untied my apron and sent out a message.
[Mom, I want to divorce Aaron. Also, I want a spot in the International Piano Competition.]
Soon, I got a reply.
[Give me three days.]
I had just replied when I heard Anna's voice.
"Mrs. Hill, why are you standing there? Is my favorite Tortilla de Mariscos ready?"
Everyone looked at me, including Aaron.
He frowned and let go of Anna's hand.
His friend quickly stood up.
"Sophia, don't misunderstand—we took it upon ourselves to invite her."
"Don't take it the wrong way! We meant well. For a birthday, the more people the merrier."
Anna glanced at me sideways, "You're Mrs. Hill? I'm sure you saw what just happened. Please control your husband. He harasses me every day, causing me quite a bit of trouble."
I laughed softly, "Maybe some mistresses just enjoy that sense of superiority. Or maybe Aaron prefers being controlled by his mistress."
"You're calling me a mistress?"
Anna's eyes filled with tears, her innocent face showing defiance.
"Aaron, I may come from humble beginnings, but I'm pure and have never been in a relationship. Many men have pursued me, but I haven't even let them touch my hand, let alone married men."
"But now your wife is calling me a mistress. You'd better give me a reasonable explanation. Otherwise, don't see me again!"
Only then did Aaron stand up.
He walked to my side, his tone gentle but carrying an undertone that I must obey.
"Honey, you shouldn't bully a young girl. Apologize to Anna quickly."
"Me apologize?" I scoffed. "Aaron, the one who should apologize is you. Have you forgotten the vows you made a year ago?"
"If you hadn't made a scene back then, would I have said those things? Just apologize."
Aaron's face darkened as he gripped my wrist tightly.
"Be good, honey. This is the first time I've met such a pure girl. She's different from other women. I really want to experience what a virgin feels like. If I can't see her anymore, I'll be very sad."
The word "pure" cut deep—if I hadn't saved him back then, I wouldn't have been raped.
I took a deep breath, "What if I refuse?"
"Then don't blame me."
Aaron made a phone call, and two bodyguards rushed in from outside.
"Do you really have to force me?"
Aaron slowly released my wrist.
"Honey, can't we avoid making this awkward? I really can't bear to hurt you."
"I said I won't apologize!"
"Do it then. Be gentle—my wife is afraid of pain."
Aaron waved his hand.
The bodyguards pressed me firmly onto the cold floor, forcing me to kneel.
At that moment, my heartbreak hurt more than my knees.
I stubbornly looked up and caught Anna's victorious smile.
"Mr. Hill, so you really are sincere about me! I agree to have dinner with just you tonight. I wonder if Mr. Hill will choose to go out with me or stay home and celebrate his wife's birthday?"
"In my heart, you'll never be a choice."
With that, Aaron bent down and helped me up with tender eyes, "Be good, honey. Go home and wait. I'll come back to be with you right after dinner."
"Whatever."
I didn't look at him. I straightened my clothes, turned around, and went back to the bedroom.
This time, I won't look back.

She lay before him in all her magnificent beauty draped across his king-size bed in the most compelling and provocative way known to man or beast. And for Alpha Zayne, it was the most captivating view he had ever had the pleasure of seeing with his own eyes.
She stared at his every movement, lips slightly parted, her stunning brown eyes scanning every inch of his gorgeously toned and glorious body while heat radiated off of hers. He was HERS.
Her body trembled in delight and anticipation; she was ready and wanted to be with him in every way.
As innocent as she was, she wanted him to...no need him to take her in the worse ways, bringing her to heights of pleasures she had never experienced before.
Fuck she is beautiful, one fine specimen, and she is all MINE, MY MATE. A wave of pure unbridled possessiveness vibrated through Alpha Zayne. He thanked the Divine Moon Goddess, for she has truly blessed him.
He drank her in, eyes trailing up her toned sexy legs spread wide for him, and she gave him that come-and-get-it look.
A PRINCESS IN DISGUISE; BOUND TO THE ENEMY KING
I fell to my knees, the cold marble digging into my skin. I had studied for years in the flickering candlelight, memorizing every herb and poison to pass the healer's exam. I wanted freedom. I wanted to save my mother from the servant's quarters. I placed second. I thought I had won my life back.
But the King didn't give me a badge of honor. He gave me a death sentence.
"Raven Thorne shall be wed to the King of Grok," he announced, his voice echoing in the silent hall. Princess Ellie, the woman who had tormented me for years, slapped her hands over her mouth to hide her cruel laughter. She was supposed to marry the Beast. Now, I was the lamb being sent to the slaughter in her place.
They say King Liam drinks the blood of his enemies. They say he is more monster than man. And now, I have to walk into his bedroom, wearing the Princess's silk gown, and pray he doesn't tear me apart.
I looked at the King, tears streaming down my face. "I'll do it," I whispered, my voice trembling. "But my mother must be safe."
I sold my body and soul to a monster to save her. But when the carriage door opened and I finally looked into the Beast's golden eyes, I realized the terrifying truth...
He wasn't a stranger. He was the man I met in the woods.

Without hesitation, the Baileys sacrificed me to protect their precious biological daughter, forcing me to take her place as a pawn in this cold, calculated arrangement.
Luckily, in those four years, the mysterious husband never asked to meet in person.
Now, in the final year of our arrangement, the husband I've never met is demanding we meet face to face.
But disaster struck the night before my return—drunk and disoriented, I stumbled into the wrong hotel room and ended up sleeping with the legendary financial mogul, Caspar Thornton.
What the hell am I supposed to do now?
Taste of Fate: The Vampire King's Human Mate
He reached for the back of my head and pulled me up just enough to reach my neck. When his fangs slid into me, the pain was instant, electric. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t think. My hands found his shoulders, clawing for something to hold. My legs kicked. Tears streamed down my cheeks.
He moaned against my throat as he drank, and the sound was devastating.
