She returned home, prepared the divorce papers, signed them, packed her belongings, and left. But on the way, Evelyn fainted because of her foetal derangement. A kind man took her to the hospital and left her with a beautiful wish. Other than that, she knew nothing about him.

"Really… am I really pregnant?"
I couldn't believe my eyes. Right in front of me was a pregnancy test with two bright red lines. The joy was so overwhelming that no words could describe my happiness at this moment.
I am Elwyn, a woman who almost has a complete home. You might wonder why I use the word "almost"? Because my husband and I have been married for some time and still don't have children.
However, that has never affected the love my husband has for me. My husband is a successful businessman. He is known as one of the most successful men in the city.
Financially, I have never had to worry about anything—it's the kind of life where you never have to look at price tags when shopping. My husband indulges me endlessly; whatever I want, I get.
Marrying him was the greatest success of my life.
The final piece to create a perfect family has finally appeared—I am pregnant. I am truly pregnant!
In the mirror, the reflection of a woman in her early twenties could still be seen, her lips curved in a sweet smile that couldn't hide her happiness.
After gazing at myself in the mirror for a moment, I finally decided to go to my husband's company to share the good news. I didn't have the patience to wait for him to come home.
"Yes! I have to tell him the good news! He'll definitely be just as overjoyed as I am!"
Yes! I am sure everything will happen just as I imagine! My wonderful husband will undoubtedly be extremely happy. My home is now officially perfect. My friends often say I'm blessed.
Born more beautiful than others, I married a handsome, wealthy, and incredibly doting husband before even graduating from college.
Everyone knows that women who are married for a while without children face some pressure, but not me. My husband always loves me unconditionally, and he has never pressured me.
I could say that my life after marriage has been just like a princess in a castle who chose the right prince charming.
Not wanting to wait another minute, another second, I returned to the bedroom, changed into a nice outfit, lightly applied makeup, grabbed the car keys, and drove straight to my husband's company.
Throughout the drive, I kept humming the song my husband had sung to me for life. At that time, he also promised to love me for the rest of his life! And I believe he will keep his word!
"Should I call and tell him first?"
I picked up the phone, dialed my husband's number. Just as I was about to press call, I hesitated. If I surprised him, maybe he'd be even happier? Who doesn't love surprises in this world?
"Yes! Today, your wife will give you a big surprise!"
Saying that, I put the phone back in my purse, my rosy face unable to hide the smile. I may have been in this state ever since I found out I was pregnant. God has been too kind to me; I feel like the happiest woman in the world right now.
Singing along the entire way, my car finally stopped in front of my husband's company. I gently stepped out of the car and walked inside. The security guard wasn't unfamiliar with my face. Not only did he not ask me to show any company ID, but his attitude was also extremely respectful.
"Madam, please come in."
"Thank you," I replied politely.
Although I'm not an employee here, everyone in the company knows me. And of course, none of them would dare show me any disrespect.
"Madam, you're here to see the chairman, right? Would you like me to notify him in advance?"
"No need!"
With that, I headed directly upstairs. If I wanted to notify him, I would have called my husband myself; there's no need for the receptionist to do it.
Standing outside my husband's office door, my heart unconsciously skipped a beat. Perhaps it's because I love this man so much, or maybe the news I'm about to bring him is so monumental. I'm certain he'll be absolutely thrilled.
"Alain, I have…"
Before I could finish my sentence, I heard strange noises coming from my husband's office. Specifically, the moans of a woman and the grunts of a man in the throes of passion. The sound was extremely piercing and repulsive.
My head was pounding like it was being hammered. We're all adults here, so of course, I knew what that sound meant. But why was it coming from my husband's office? Why?
A thousand questions raced through my mind. My frail hands trembled uncontrollably with fear. What on earth is happening inside? Could it be that the man I love so dearly is…
"No! It can't be! I must have misheard! Yes, I must have misheard!" I reassured myself.
Once again, I pressed my ear to the door, hoping for a miracle. All I wished for now was that the sound I heard earlier didn't exist at all, that I was too elated and misheard.
But no, the harsh reality slapped me in the face once more. I hadn't misheard. The sound was still there—the woman's moans and the man's heavy breathing. There was no mistake here!
"Alain, what the hell are you doing in there!"
I couldn't control my anger and slammed the door open. The sound of the wooden door hitting the wall was incredibly loud.
"Alain…"
The words died in my throat as I was stunned by the scene before me. The man, who usually appeared so elegant, was now lying completely naked beside his "little" secretary. She was pretending to be a pitiful little thing, cowering under my husband's body in a "scared kitten" pose. The scene was so disgusting that I was left speechless.
"Why did you suddenly feel like coming here today? Got too much free time being the chairman's wife at home?"
Alain spoke casually, not even bothering to avoid or rush to explain, as he leisurely put on his clothes, one piece at a time. As for that secretary, she was even bolder. A sly fox like her dared to look at me, the rightful wife, with a challenging gaze. She was so shameless that she didn't even bother to put her clothes back on.
"Alain, what is this… what's happening!"
I screamed like a madwoman. Just a second ago, I thought I was the happiest person on earth. But now, everything had vanished in an instant. I was no longer the princess loved deeply by her prince. Right now, I felt more like a clown—a clown performing a sad act in front of two despicable people.
