Divorced Ten Times for Her
Piper Hayes · Completed · 7.3k Words
Introduction
Everyone says I married the best man in the city.
What they don't know is this man has married me ten times. And divorced me ten times. All for the woman he's never gotten over.
The first time, I got on my knees and begged him not to leave. He just looked at me with those cold eyes and said, "Don't embarrass yourself."
The fourth time, we were fighting in the car. Then we crashed, and I lost our baby.
By the seventh time, I stopped crying. Just signed the papers, packed my things, waited for him to come back like he always did.
My tears, my compromises, all those times I bent until I nearly broke. What did I get? Him coming back like clockwork, just to do it all over again.
This time, when he slides that tenth divorce agreement across the desk, I finally get it. Some people's hearts never had room for you in the first place.
So this time, I'm throwing him out. Him and this whole Mrs. Hayes charade. Straight into the trash where they belong.
Chapter 1
Elena's POV
Everyone knows Adrian loves me more than life itself. When that car crashed, he threw himself over me and took the hit. First thing he said when he woke up in the hospital: "Where is she? Is she okay?"
Everyone says I married the best man in the city.

This time, when he slides that tenth divorce agreement across the desk, I finally get it. Some people's hearts never had room for you in the first place.
So this time, I'm throwing him out. Him and this whole Mrs. Hayes charade. Straight into the trash where they belong.
"Elena."
Adrian sits in his study, pushing the divorce papers toward me like he's signing off on a quarterly report. Nothing special. Just another Tuesday.
"Vivian's under a lot of stress. This new role triggered her depression again." He sounds tired, like I'm just another box to check on his to-do list. "Her therapist says she needs stability. You know how it is. If the press catches us still living together..."
He trails off, but I get the picture loud and clear.
For that woman to feel safe, I need to disappear. Again.
I stare at the papers. Same clauses, same signature lines. Probably the same lawyer too. Guy must have the template saved by now. Just update the date and print.
Used to be, I'd cry and ask when we could get remarried. I'd make him swear this was the last time. I'd cling to whatever crumbs of promise he threw my way like they were lifelines.
This time, I just pick up the pen and sign.
Adrian freezes for a second. Then that cocky look slides back onto his face, and he actually laughs. "Playing games again? Elena, you've pulled this whole hard-to-get thing nine times. Don't you ever get tired of this?"
I don't answer. Just push the papers back across the desk.
"Once Vivian wraps her film, we'll get married again." He pulls out a black card from the drawer, tosses it on top of the agreement. "Go buy yourself something. Get out of the house. Stop overthinking everything."
Before today, a card like that would've kept me up all night, convinced it meant he loved me.
Now I know better. It's just bird seed. Toss enough of it in the cage, and the canary stays put.
"I don't need it." I stand up, and my voice comes out steady. Calm. "I don't want anything from you anymore."
I turn and head upstairs. Behind me, Adrian sits there in his study, probably wondering why his script isn't working this time.
In the bedroom, I open the closet and start packing.
All those designer dresses, the jewelry he bought me, everything labeled "Mrs. Adrian Hayes." I don't touch any of it. Just dig out the old backpack I had when I first ran away from home, stuff in some basic clothes.
I hear him at the door. He leans against the frame, watching me with that amused, condescending look.
After a minute, he sighs. "Alright, alright. Stop packing. I'll move out this time. Save you the trouble of going after Vivian again."
He walks over, reaches for my waist.
That familiar move. The one he's used a thousand times to comfort me, control me, keep me exactly where he wants me.
This time, I step away.
His hand hangs in the air. Confusion flashes across his face, then hardens into anger. "Elena! I'm already compromising here. What more do you want? Where else are you gonna go? You running to that lawyer friend of yours again?"
"You know she's the one who leaked Vivian's business last time, right? Sent Vivian straight into a relapse. If I hadn't killed that story, could you have handled the fallout?"
I keep folding clothes. Don't look at him.
"Why can't you be more like Vivian? At least she has a career. Something she cares about besides me. What about you? What do you do all day except follow me around?"
I almost laugh.
He's the one who made me quit my job as his secretary. He's the one who said "I'll take care of you." He's the one who shut me down every single time I tried to do something on my own, told me I was "causing problems."
And now he stands here, using the dependence he created to humiliate me.

Pregnant by My Husband's Rival Alpha
Those words should have destroyed me, but the truth was worse: I'd been used as a broodmare by the man who swore to love me, set up in a hotel room with a stranger because My husband Alexander Cross couldn't father children himself, and now I carried the secret babies of Damon Lester—the most powerful and dangerous Alpha in San Loris—while my own family replaced me with the daughter they'd always wanted. But when that same stranger's doctor appeared at my door, when twenty million dollars exchanged hands over a fake perfume bearing my secret identity, and when Damon's gray eyes locked onto mine with recognition I couldn't afford, I realized my carefully hidden life as the legendary perfumer Vera was colliding with a pregnancy that could cost me everything.
Could I protect my babies from the husband plotting my death, hide my true identity from the Alpha who's been hunting me for years, and reclaim the freedom I'd buried along with my dreams—even if it means standing alone against the wolves who see me as nothing more than a womb to be used and discarded?
The Alpha King's Human Mate
“I have waited nine years for you. That’s nearly a decade since I’ve felt this emptiness inside me. Part of me began to wonder if you didn’t exist or you’d already died. And then I found you, right inside my own home.”
He used one of his hands to stroke my cheek and tingles erupted everywhere.
“I’ve spent enough time without you and I will not let anything else keep us apart. Not other wolves, not my drunken father who’s barely holding himself together the past twenty years, not your family – and not even you.”
Clark Bellevue has spent her entire life as the only human in the wolf pack - literally. Eighteen years ago, Clark was the accidental result of a brief affair between one of the most powerful Alphas in the world and a human woman. Despite living with her father and her werewolf half-siblings, Clark has never felt like she really belonged in the werewolf world. But right as Clark plans to leave the werewolf world behind for good, her life gets flipped upside down by her mate: the next Alpha King, Griffin Bardot. Griffin has been waiting years for the chance to meet his mate, and he's not about to let her go anytime soon. It doesn't matter how far Clark tries to run from her destiny or her mate - Griffin intends to keep her, no matter what he has to do or who stands in his way.
After One Night with the Alpha
I thought I was waiting for love. Instead, I got fucked by a beast.
My world was supposed to bloom at the Moonshade Bay Full Moon Festival—champagne buzzing in my veins, a hotel room booked for Jason and me to finally cross that line after two years. I’d slipped into lacy lingerie, left the door unlocked, and lay on the bed, heart pounding with nervous excitement.
But the man who climbed into my bed wasn’t Jason.
In the pitch-black room, drowned in a heady, spicy scent that made my head spin, I felt hands—urgent, scorching—searing my skin. His thick, pulsing cock pressed against my dripping cunt, and before I could gasp, he thrust hard, tearing through my innocence with ruthless force. Pain burned, my walls clenching as I clawed at his iron shoulders, stifling sobs. Wet, slick sounds echoed with every brutal stroke, his body unrelenting until he shuddered, spilling hot and deep inside me.
"That was amazing, Jason," I managed to say.
"Who the fuck is Jason?"
My blood turned to ice. Light slashed across his face—Brad Rayne, Alpha of Moonshade Pack, a werewolf, not my boyfriend. Horror choked me as I realized what I’d done.
I ran away for my life!
But weeks later, I woke up pregnant with his heir!
They say my heterochromatic eyes mark me as a rare true mate. But I’m no wolf. I’m just Elle, a nobody from the human district, now trapped in Brad's world.
Brad’s cold gaze pins me: “You carry my blood. You’re mine.”
There is no other choice for me but to chose this cage. My body also betrays me, craving the beast who ruined me.

Well… Sometimes you just might turn out to be right.
It turns out, the fae stole my little brother. In his place? A pixie with boundary issues and a talent for home repairs.
I’ve spent my life taking care of everyone else. So when my baby brother is taken, I don’t hesitate. I walk straight into a faerie mansion and make a bargain with its infuriatingly charming master.
Kie is everything you’d expect from a dangerous fae, beautiful, political, and entirely too amused by me. Power wrapped in a smirk. Sensual, mischievous, and far too aware of the effect he has on people. He agrees to help me find my brother.
For a price.
Now I’m bound by a faerie bargain and navigating a world of glamour, manipulation, and ancient rules I definitely should have learned sooner, enchanted forests, political games, magical contracts, and a fae lord who treats seduction like a perfectly reasonable negotiation tactic.
Iron is how I keep people out.
Glamour is how he draws them in.
And apparently, they just don’t mix.
