Introduction
The discovery of her betrothed in a clandestine embrace with her sister at a hotel made Abigail the subject of cruel mirth. In a twist of retribution, she accepted the proposal of Gregory White, the uncle of her faithless fiancé.
With the ink dry on their marriage certificate, Gregory became the architect of Abigail's vengeance, all the while lavishing her with unwavering devotion.
As time wove its tapestry, Abigail found herself yielding to the tender siege laid by Gregory's affections... Divorce? A notion rendered obsolete, for she was ensnared, willingly, in the enduring embrace of Gregory's love.
Chapter 1
The large screen in the town square of River City was broadcasting the evening news.
"The nation's largest family, the White family, recently announced an alliance with the Martin family. Roman White, the young master of the White family, and Abigail Martin, the daughter of the Martin family, are now engaged. What impact will the union of these two young people have on their families and even the economic market? Let's invite an economics professor to analyze..."
In a nearby café, Tricia Dixon and Abigail sat across from each other.
Abigail rested her chin on one hand, absentmindedly stirring her coffee with the other, her gaze distant as if lost in thought.
"Abby, do you even like Roman?" Tricia asked, looking at her friend.
Abigail sighed softly and straightened up. "In families like ours, we don't get to choose who we marry. We're just pawns in their game."
Tricia's heart ached seeing Abigail's forlorn expression. "If you really don't want to marry Roman, maybe we could talk to Mrs. White..."
Before Tricia could finish, Abigail interrupted her, frowning at her phone. "Tricia, you should go. I have something to take care of."
With a cold expression, Abigail left the café and quickly hailed a cab, heading to a nearby hotel. Her face was dark as she looked at the message from an unknown number on her phone.
[Miss Martin, your fiancé Roman and your sister Jessica just checked into a hotel.]
Below the message was a photo clearly showing Roman and Jessica holding hands as they entered the hotel.
'Roman, you jerk. If you're really involved with Jessica, I won't let you get away with it,' Abigail thought, her eyes burning with hatred.
Though she didn't love Roman, the news of their engagement had just been announced, and now he was with Jessica at a hotel. If this got out, she would be the laughingstock of the entire city.
Meanwhile, in a luxury hotel room, Roman and Jessica were in the throes of passion. Clothes, including underwear, were strewn across the floor as they embraced each other naked.
Roman kissed Jessica's body, breathing heavily. Jessica, feeling hot and breathless, asked, "Roman, who do you love more, me or Abigail?"
Roman left a kiss mark on Jessica's neck and smiled. "Babe, I only love you. My grandmother arranged my engagement to Abigail, but I'll end it soon."
"Thank you for everything, babe," Jessica said, her eyes burning with desire as she pushed Roman down and straddled him.
The room soon filled with the sounds of their lovemaking.
Abigail arrived at the hotel, paid the cab driver, and jumped out, not even bothering to close the door. She didn't notice the black car parked nearby, with someone inside watching her intently.
"Leo, is the room door unlocked?" a man in the backseat asked calmly.
Leo Brown, in the driver's seat, nodded. "Yes."
The man smiled. "This is going to be interesting."
Abigail rushed to the room mentioned in the text, pressing her ear to the door. She could hear Roman and Jessica's moans inside. Her anger was like a volcano about to erupt. She turned the doorknob and was surprised to find it unlocked.
She burst into the room, phone in hand, and started taking pictures of the two on the bed. "Roman, you bastard! And Jessica, you slut! Smile for the camera!"
Jessica screamed and pushed Roman away, wrapping herself in the blanket. Roman scrambled to put on his pants.
"Abigail, what the hell are you doing? Delete those photos!" Roman demanded, trying to grab her phone, but Abigail kicked him in the groin.
Roman fell to the floor, clutching himself in pain. "Roman, we just got engaged and you're already fooling around with Jessica. I'm going to expose this. Just wait!"
Abigail flipped them off and stormed out of the room.
After she left, Jessica crawled out from under the blanket, crying as she threw herself onto Roman. "Roman, what are we going to do? Abigail must hate me now!"
Roman struggled to his feet, patting Jessica's back. "Don't worry. She won't release the video. She'll probably just use it to break off the engagement with my grandmother. Then I can marry you. Don't worry about her. I'll protect you."
Feeling reassured, Jessica clung to Roman, a hint of malice in her eyes. 'Abigail, I'm the one Roman truly loves. You'll never set foot in the White family,' she thought.
As Abigail left the hotel, it started to rain, mirroring her gloomy mood. "I've accepted my fate. Why does it still mock me? If you love Jessica, why didn't you stop the engagement when your grandmother arranged it? You're a coward, a bastard, a liar!"
She walked through the rain, shouting curses into the air. Passersby with umbrellas steered clear of the seemingly mad woman.
The rain poured harder. Abigail's clothes were soaked, and she shivered as her body temperature dropped.
Suddenly, she sensed someone approaching. She turned instinctively and saw an umbrella over her head. The man holding it looked very familiar. She called out, "Gregory."
The man, dressed in a black suit, exuded authority. His chiseled features were like a work of art. He was Roman's uncle, Gregory White.
Abigail had seen him many times in the news and newspapers. He was hailed as the most visionary investor of his time and the creator of a vast business empire. But what shocked people most was his lack of scandals—he had never been linked to any woman.
For a man, that was almost unbelievable.
Abigail inhaled the faint scent of tobacco from him and felt his body heat, making her heart race uncontrollably.
Gregory noticed her flushed cheeks and gently touched her forehead. "Why is your face so hot? Are you getting sick?"
This simple gesture made Abigail's heart beat even faster.

HIS REJECTED SECOND CHANCE MATE
"What the f*ck, Zara!" Levi bumped into me and growled behind me.
"Sorry," I mumbled, wide-eyed.
"Is that?" Levi mind-linked, and I nodded my head.
"Zara," my father uttered. "I understand that you are familiar with Alpha Noah."
I slowly nodded my head.
"Great," my father said. "Alpha Noah has also informed me that you are his fated mate."
I gave a nod in response.
"Superb, Alpha Noah has requested your hand."
"Is that so?" I found my voice.
Both my father and Alpha Noah nodded.
"Interesting," I said. "Were you told by Alpha Noah that he rejected me more than a year ago?"
My father's smile wavered as Alpha Noah's face turned to ash.

Mated To The Cold Hearted Alpha
"You want me to fuck you, I know it"
"As much as you don't like me, you're my mate and you can't deny it."
He stood up behind me, one hand holding my hip, and leaned down, his breath ragged against my neck, his voice was husky,
"You'll listen to your body... what it wants... and my body... what it needs. Only the pleasure that a small bite can bring."
At the age of 15, I was shocked to hear the ruthless Alpha claim that I was his mate.
To make matters worse, he killed my father, who was trying to protect me. At that time, I successfully ran away from him.
However, when I turned 18, I fell into his trap again.
I hated him and wanted revenge, but the moon goddess had a different plan for me.
I was his mate, and we were fated to be together. No matter the circumstances, my body couldn't resist him.
Up North
My hands move from his jaw to his hair, tagging at its ends. His hands travel down my body and pull the material from my shirt up my body, he places a wet kiss right beside my belly button. I tense as I let out a gasp. He makes his way up, showering my stomach with slow kisses, studying my body as he goes until the shirt is completely off and his mouth is on my neck.

Strings of Fate
Like all children, I was tested for magic when I was only a few days old. Since my specific bloodline is unknown and my magic is unidentifiable, I was marked with a delicate swirling pattern around my upper right arm.
I do have magic, just as the tests showed, but it has never lined up with any known Magic species.
I can't breathe fire like a dragon Shifter, or hex people who piss me off like Witches. I can't make potions like an Alchemist or seduce people like a Succubus. Now I don't mean to be unappreciative of the power I do have, it's interesting and all, but it just really doesn't pack much of a punch and most of the time it is just pretty much useless. My special magical skill is the ability to see threads of fate.
Most of life is annoying enough for me, and what never occurred to me is that my mate is a rude, pompous nuisance. He's an Alpha and my friend's twin brother.
“What are you doing? This is my home, you can't just let yourself in!” I try and keep my voice firm but when he turns and fixes me with his golden eyes I shrink back. The look he gives me is imperious and I automatically drop my eyes to the floor as is my habit. Then I force myself to look back up again. He doesn't notice me looking up because he's already looked away from me. He's being rude, I refuse to show that he's scaring me, even though he most definitely is. He glances around and after realising that the only place to sit is the little table with its two chairs he points to it.
“Sit.” he orders. I glare at him. Who is he to order me around like this? How can someone this obnoxious possibly be my soul mate? Maybe I'm still asleep. I pinch my arm and my eyes water a little from the sting of pain.
