" Today marks six months of me and Josh together. I am going to surprise Josh . I bought a bouquet of lily and a champagne. " I told myself before heading out to the coffee shop I works.
I am Erin Montana. I am a hybrid who is considered as an abdomination. I am 21 years old. My wolf is snow white in color and about 5 feet tall. I am a half vampire too. I don't belong to any pack as I was living along with humans. My dad and mom despite being mates didn't got along at all. After I was born, my mom rejected my dad and went on her way. My step mom is my dad's second chance mate. I have been living with Marcia, my step mom since then. Marcia is very kind and affectionate towards me. She treats and loves me as her own daughter. Marcia is the head of the werewolves council. Not many knew this. She's an elemental wolf and her element is fire.
The world we live in has drastically changed over the years. Werewolves and Vampires are arch rivals . They're living among the humans who are aware of their existence. A peace treaty has been signed by werewolves council (Elders) and the Vampire king Alfonso Mikhail after a war between Werewolves and Vampires that happened a hundred years ago. The war had caused severe damanges to both sides. Werewolves Alpha King was trapped cunningly and killed by Alfonso and then the war ended with peace negotiations.
Both Vampires and Werewolves must not enter the other's territory or capture the other kind. It's the most important rule. Werewolves formed the council with five Elders (Elementary wolves). Each has the power of controlling one natural elements. Their legacy has been carried forward by their family successors.
Werewolves started to indulge in power tussle often and drifted over various lands across the world. In USA alone, more than 20 werewolves packs are there. Though Vampires prefer to live alone in their territories, werewolves mingled among the humans. Werewolves of a pack meet every full moon on their designated location or pack house.
Enough of Werewolves and Vampires history for now.
In the business world, Marcia Montana is a one of the successful billionaire with companies all over the world. She's in her mid forties now. Not many will believe that we're mom and daughter as she looks really young . Add to that, not many know my real identity and my connection to her.
Marcia never spoils me with money. She made me to take up a part time job while I got enrolled for college. I will be graduating college this year with a major in business administration. While working part time at a coffee shop, I met Josh, our college football captain. He's human . He asked me out on a date and I agreed.
Now, It's been six months since I started dating Josh. He was really sweet and caring boyfriend. Though Marcia doesn't really like him, she let me do what I want. I never told him who I really was. He just thinks I am like him. Today is our sixth month anniversary. So, I thought of surprising him by showing up at his place unannounced. He is in for a shock.
The coffee shop I work is not crowded much today for which I am thankful for. It's not that big of a place. We have around 15 tables and five waitress and a cashier. This place has a homely feel to it. We treat each other as family. Our boss Gwen is very kind and caring lady.
" Hey, can you cover my shift for an hour?. I need to leave early? " I asked Zara, my bestfriend who also works worh me here.
" Let me guess, Josh? I seriously don't know what you see in him. He's lying to you. I myself saw him with Georgia but you're not believing me. " Zara throw her hands up dramatically in air as she started to lecture me.
" Zara, it was before he started to date me. I trust him. So , just drop it. Let me enjoy it. " I replied while rolling my eyes.
" Whatever. I just wish, you don't get hurt. Girl, you go enjoy your night with your boyfriend and behave! " She waved me off. She doesn't like Josh for me at all. I hired a cab to reach his place. He doesn't know I am rich either. Yet he's in love with me. So, I believe him.
I arrived at his place and paid the cab. Seeing the front door open, I entered the house. I heard some moans coming from upstairs. I tiptoed to his room and peeked through the hole of the door. Georgia and Josh are having sex. Tears threaten to come out of my eyes.
" Hey Josh, why are you still with Erin?" Inquired Georgia as she started to wear her dress back while Josh just laid in his bed.
" Erin is a keeper. I need her. She's loyal and will care for me. I did a deep research on her . She's Marcia Montana's daughter. Heir of Montana Enterprises. So, I don't have to work and enjoy my whole life. Besides I still haven't fucked her. She's naive and virgin who believe in love, romantic shit. If I get to marry her, my life is settled for life. So, I can't let her go. " Josh replied as he put on his boxers.
"Seriously, even with all of your other flings ,how did she even believe you?" Georgia asked as she trailed her fingers on his chest.
" Because she's stupid and crazily in love. She trust me completely. " He said proudly while pulling her closer to him. They kissed again. After pulling out, " Will you miss me? " She purred as I gag at the sight.
"Of course I'll ..ahh...uhhh... miss you. You're ... ahhhh... gorgeous... Everything anyone ...ahhh would want in a woman unlike plain Erin." He said in between the kisses.
"How sweet of you to say," She responded while flashing her beautiful smile before moving in for another kiss.
I have had enough. I slammed the door open. Both of them looked at me like they've seen a ghost.
" Baby, it's not like what you think. She came onto me. " He then turned to her and said " Slut, leave. No matter how hard you try, I will be faithful to my baby. "
Josh calling me Baby made me cringe. His friends arrived exactly at the same time . Looks like Josh planned a party in his house. But Josh has no idea what he's just awakened.
Because a broken hybrid with nothing left to lose is far more dangerous than any war between werewolves and vampires.
