Introduction
I thought I had it all, a wealthy husband, a luxurious lifestyle, and a sense of security. But it was all a lie. For years, I was tied to Mr. Lewis, acting like a poor girl but giving him every single thing he wanted.
"You're nothing but a trophy to me, Sandra," he would say, his voice dripping with condescension. "You're a poor girl from a poor family. You should be grateful I'm taking care of you."
But the truth was, I was the only daughter of one of the richest families in the city. I had faked my marriage to Lewis, not knowing that it would be the beginning of a new dawn.
And then, one day, Lewis's wealth walked in - literally. His new mistress, my former househelp, sauntered into our lives, and Lewis didn't hesitate to divorce me for her.
"You're nothing to me, Sandra," he spat, his eyes cold and hard. "You never were."
I was devastated, but I knew I had to pick myself up. I had to reclaim my life, my identity, and my family's legacy.
And that's when I met him - Dylan, the billionaire with a heart of gold. He was everything Lewis was not - kind, genuine, and passionate.
"Hello, beautiful," he said, his eyes locking onto mine. "I'm Dylan. And you are...?"
I smiled, feeling a spark of attraction that I couldn't ignore. "I'm Sandra," I replied, my voice barely above a whisper.
"Sure," I said finally, smiling up at him. "I'd love to."
Chapter 1
Sandra POV
I stood in the opulent living room, my eyes fixed on Lewis as he held out the divorce file.
My voice was already filled with anger, my expression more stren and serious than anything.
"I did almost every single thing for you, and then you're telling me to sign this foolish contract!" I yelled, my voice echoing off the high ceilings and causing a palpable shift in the atmosphere of the room.
At this point, my whole life was crashing before my eyes. Lewis, the man I had devoted five years of my precious life to, was now standing in front of me, asking me to sign a divorce contract, after every single thing have done and sacrificed for him. The pain and betrayal I felt were suffocating me, making it hard for me to breathe.
Lewis's expression was stern and serious, his eyes flashing with anger and another expression, I can't just explain.
"What did you think you did for me that no other woman can possibly do for me?" he sneered, his voice dripping with mockery.
I felt a surge of anger and hurt at his useless words. How could he be so cruel and evil? Didn't he remember all the sacrifices I had made for him over the years? The late nights, the early mornings, the endless hours spent supporting him and his poor business ventures?
"Lewis..." I started to say, but he cut me off my words, with rudeness.
"Don't call me that name anymore, you dirty thing!" he yelled, his face reddening with rage.
" You called me dirty, Lewis," my voice was filled with anger.
"You're now banned from calling me that name with that hole of yours, you call a mouth."
I stood there, looking at him, but one thing I just couldn't bring myself to do was cry and act weak to him. Tears were far away from me, replaced by a cold, hard anger and hard heart. All I could think about was how I could reclaim my life now that he had made it clear he was done with me.
"Just this last time, Lewis," I tried to plead for a chance, hoping against hope that he would listen to me, that he would see the error of his ways and forgive me. But from the look on his face, I knew I was wasting my breath and energy.
"Have I told you already, I'm done with this bondage you call a relationship?" he spat, his eyes flashing with contempt. "I don't want anything to do with you, Sandra. You're nothing but a reminder of my past mistakes and failure. You still staying in my life is a curse."
I felt a stinging sensation in my eyes as I watched him turn his back on me, with his harsh words. I knew I had to get out of there before I lost my dignity completely.
But before I could make a move, Lewis's mother appeared out of nowhere, her face twisted in a scowl.
"You're nothing to both me, my son and whole family!" she yelled, her voice like a knife cutting through the sharp air.
"You'll always be nothing to this family, Sandra. You're cursed, that's why you have no family of your own."
I felt a surge of anger at her words, but I bit back my retort. I knew that engaging with her would only lead to more drama and stress to myself. Instead, I took a deep breath and tried to remain calm, to rise above the petty insults and jabs.
But it was hard for me already. Her words cut deep like a sharp wound, making me feel like I was worthless and useless, like I didn't deserve to be loved or respected. I knew it wasn't true, but in that moment, it was hard to shake off the feeling of inadequacy.
I looked at Lewis, hoping against hope that he would stand up for me, that he would tell his mother to stop her vicious attacks. But he just stood there, his eyes fixed on some point beyond me, his expression unreadable.
I knew then that I was truly alone on this life. Lewis had made it clear that he was done with me, and his mother had made it clear that she would never accept me. I was nothing to them, just a disposable pawn in their game of power and privilege.
I took a deep breath and let the reality of my situation sink in. I knew I had to get out of there, to escape the toxic atmosphere and the people who were determined to destroy me. I turned on my heel and walked away, leaving Lewis and his mother to their cruelty and their contempt.
I walked into the dark-themed room, the shadows cast by the dim lighting a perfect reflection of my mood and emotion. I packed the little things I could, my hands shaking with anger and hurt. I just couldn't believe Lewis was doing this to me, throwing me out of his life like I meant totally nothing to him.
"I'd be leaving your house for good, so enjoy everything you have to yourself already!" I spat out the words, my anger and frustration boiling over, without any single tears dropping. I grabbed my bag and turned to leave, but not before catching a glimpse of Lewis's expression. For a moment, I thought I saw a flicker of regret, but it was quickly replaced by his usual mask of indifference.
I stormed out of the house, slamming the door behind me with ultimate anger. The cool night air hit me like a sharp slap in the face, but I welcomed it. I needed something to shock me out of the numbness that had settled over me already.
As I walked down the sidewalk, I felt a sense of freedom that I hadn't felt in the past 5 years. I was finally out of that toxic relationship, and I was determined to make a new life for myself.
I hailed a passing taxi and gave the driver the address of a small hotel in the city. As we drove through the crowded streets, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and possibility. What would my new life be like? Would I find happiness and fulfillment?
The taxi dropped me off in front of the hotel, and I paid the driver before stepping out onto the sidewalk. As I looked up at the hotel's bright facade, I felt a sense of trepidation. What was I going to do now?
Just as I was starting to feel overwhelmed, a sleek black car pulled up beside me. The window rolled down, and a handsome, chiseled face appeared.
"Need a ride?" the man asked, his voice low and smooth.
I hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to do. But there was something about the man's warm, piercing eyes that put me at ease.
"Thanks," I said, smiling slightly as I got into the car.
As we drove away from the hotel, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. Who was this mysterious stranger, and where was he taking me?
The man's eyes met mine in the rearview mirror, and he smiled. "My name is Dylan, by the way," he said. "And you are...?"
I smiled back at him, feeling a spark of attraction that I couldn't ignore. "I'm Sandra," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.
Dylan's eyes crinkled at the corners as he smiled again. "Well, Sandra, buckle up. We're in for a wild ride."

Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
Oops, Wrong Girl to Bully
My back hit the desk. Pain exploded through my skull.
"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.
Someone... please...

The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."
