Introduction
He didn't respond but moved his eyes around the room, scanning the place.
"Wha...what are you doing here?"
His icy blue eyes returned to me, sending shivers down my spine. Then further dropped to my dress and then back to my eyes.
"The shit going on downstairs, what does it mean?" he asked, making my legs as weak as they are eager to flee.
"It's....it my wedding,"
He scoffed darkly. "Excuse me?"
I swallowed. "I am......getting married,"
He let out a humorless laugh, looking away and giving me lesser comfort. He looked at me with a demonic frown.
Terror washed me.
"Every single motherfucker/human being here, be it adult or child, including you, will burn before that happens,"
〽️〽️〽️
The quiet but pathetic life of Twenty-year-old Mia Jefferson changed the night she found a few months old interracial baby boy abandoned in a dumpster on her way home. She saved him and kept him in her care for almost a month until she was taken by a deadly gang who accused her of abduction. She thought it was it for her until the ruthless gang leader, Nathaniel Kincaid, known on the streets as Big Kai and the father of the baby appeared and added to her punishment. At the point when Mia is about to give up, Nathaniel makes her his baby's nanny as the only way to convince him that she is not the abductor. As she picked up her care for the baby, Nathaniel watched her every move consistently, placing his heart in a dark and passionate risk.
Chapter 1
The tiny voice of a baby in a blue crib filled the luxurious room.
The dim light from the lamp made the room partially dark, but the lights from the moon and stars ignited the room through the windows, creating shadows of some furniture on the tiled floor.
The blue crib stood close to the wall, a few steps away from the well-arranged queen-sized bed. The baby's tiny voice continued, filling the room with his adorable voice.
Baby talks.
Isadora walked out of her walk-in closet dressed in a black silk nightgown that looked a bit loose in her slender and curvy body. Tying up her beautiful long black hair, she smiled as she listened to her baby's voice.
She swung ger waist while walking majestically toward the crib and still tying her hair.
"Hmm, mi amor," she said the minute she got to the crib, smiling down at him as she continued tying her hair.
Her baby is lying on his back and playing with a tiny blue toy which he has close to his mouth.
His blue eyes moved towards her while still making his baby talks, making her smile again.
"What are you saying, sweetie?" She asked, withdrawing her hands from her hair. She reached for the baby and picked him up.
"Aw, Lil Kai," she cooed as she cradled him in her arms.
"My Lil Kai," she cooed again, leaning closer and kissing his cheek. He gripped her face a bit, making her chuckle as he continued his baby talks.
"I am sorry, honey. Daddy is not home yet. Too bad we need to go to sleep now. We can't wait that long for him." she leaned closer and kissed his temples.
"There you go," she said, leaning down to the crib and placing him in it.
She covered him properly with his little white duvet, but he kept on with his baby talks.
She placed her hands on the crib, staring at him admirably.
"Your eyes don't look like you are going to sleep anytime soon, Mi amor."
He kept talking.
She smiled.
"You want to wait for your dad so badly?" she asked.
She smiled again.
A knock on the door got her attention.
She looked at her baby and blew him a kiss before walking towards the door. She grabbed the door knob and opened it, revealing a maid holding a tray with a glass of wine in it.
"Your wine, ma'am." the maid said.
"Hold the tray tightly," Isadora ordered.
The maid froze slightly, but obeyed, griping the tray as she braced herself.
Isadora gave her a stinging backhand slap on the cheek, making her look away as a whimper left her lips.
"That's for the five minutes you wasted," Isadora said.
The maid lowered her gaze, feeling tears approaching her eyes.
"I am sorry, ma'am," she almost whispered.
"What fucking kept you?" Isadora asked.
"There..... There was no one to help me reach the brand of wine you asked for. It was placed at the highest counter," the maid stuttered.
Isadora scoffed, picking up the wine from the tray.
"You are lucky you just got that tiny slap from me," Isadora said, taking a little sip from her glass.
The maid stood there with her head down, still holding the tray.
Isadora stared at her from head to toe. We returned her eyes to the maid's face.
"Is the boss back?" Isadora asked, taking another sip.
"No, ma'am,"
Isadora hummed. "What is your name again?"
"Naomi, ma'am,"
"Whatever. Stay awake till he comes back. Once he does, come right here and knock on my door. "
The maid nodded.
"Did you fucking hear me?"
"Yes, ma'am,"
"Now, shoo," I said, waving her hand nonchalantly and taking a step back into her room and closing the door.
A tear rolled down the maid's eyes as she turned around. With her wrist, she wiped off her tears, staring sternly at no place in particular.
She looked to her left.
She saw Imani staring at her from the door of a room that is three rooms away from Isadora's.
They stared at each other for a while before the maid took the direction to her right.
Imani stared at her as she walked. She raised her chin as she stared. She moved her hand and checked her wristwatch before heading into the room.
In Isadora's room, she walked towards her baby's crib with the glass of wine in her hand.
Her baby was still making tiny noises.
She smiled at her baby as she leaned on his crib.
"What? You want this?" She asked him while pointing at her glass.
"No, sweetie. You are too young to have this. But, when you are grown, you can have it. Actually, when you are grown, you will have all of this," she said, gesturing in the room.
"All of it, Mi amor. Everything will be yours because you know why? You are the heir to the Kincaid fortune, my sweetness. You are the future owner of your father's empire," she said, chuckling as she gulped her entire drink.
Her baby made a happy sound.
"Aw, wow. You are as excited as mommy, aren't you, sweetie? My lil Kai," she said, touching the tip of his nose with the tip of her finger.
She chuckled. "Grow up fast so you can become Big Kai one day. Mommy can't wait. And I also can't wait for your dad to put the ring on it already. I want to be Mrs Kincaid so badly."
She chuckled as she moved the glass to her lips.
She realized she had gulped the entire drink.
"Oh. God, I feel funny."
The baby made more tiny noises.
"Mommy needs to go to her bed now. Good night my sweetie. I love you," she said, blowing him a kiss.
She took sluggish steps towards her bed. She placed the empty glass on the nightstand carelessly, and got on the bed.
The glass fell on the tiled floor and broke instantly.
She laid on her belly carelessly and comfortably, cuddling her pillows.
The baby kept making baby talks as she began to let out snores.
Not long later, the door opened, and two feet walked in and closed the door behind. The feet walked towards the crib and rested their eyes on the baby, who was still making baby talks.
The person leaned closer and picked the baby up, making the baby make a louder sound.
The person moved his gaze to Isadora, who was sound asleep on her bed.
He held the baby closer and walked past the bed before heading out of the room.
The door opened again after some minutes and three people walked in. Two are dressed in black leather jumpsuits and one is dressed in a maids' uniform and holding a jug filled up with water.
They walked towards Isadora's bed, staring at Isadora in her sleeping mode. Some strands of her hair are covering her face, and she is letting out snores.
The maid scoffed.
She opened the jug and poured all the water on Isadora, making her jump.
"What the.....what the fuck is going on?" She asked as she wiped her wet face, water dripping over her hair. She noticed the presence of the three people in her room, making her look at them.
She instantly recognized one of them.
"Naomi?"
"Slept well?" Naomi asked.
Isadora furrowed her brows.
"Bring her," Naomi ordered, making Isadora's face twitch as Naomi headed for the door. Isadora stared at her cluelessly as the others grabbed her out of bed by her both arms.
"Let me go," Isadora struggled as they dragged her along and out of the room.
"Who are you people?" she asked.
They dragged her along the hallway.
"Where are you taking me? Where is my baby?!"
No one answered but kept walking, following Naomi who was walking ahead.
"Naomi!"
No response.
"Where are you taking me?!" Isadora's voice echoed as they continued walking.
"Naomi!"
She didn't respond.
"Big Kai will have your heads if you harm me!"
No one gave her a look but kept dragging her along.
"Where is my son, you bitch?!" Isadora yelled.
Naomi walked into a room and the men followed her into the room.
It was an empty room painted brown with just a table and someone was standing close to it, facing it and doing unknown things on it. Isadora stared at the person's back, confused to the least as her heart pounded in terror.
"She is here," Naomi said, making Isadora look at her.
She looked back at the person standing close to the table.
"Hola, Isadora,"
Isadora furrowed her brows in confusion.
The person turned around, making Isadora's face twitch.
"Did you sleep well?"
Isadora clenched her jaw angrily.
"Imani,"
Imani smirked.
"Whatever you are trying to do, Big Kai will...."
"Bring her closer," Imani ordered, making the men drag Isadora closer to Imani.
"You were saying..." Imani urged.
Isadora scowled at her.
Imani raised her brows.
"Big Kai is going to kill you if you lay a finger on the mother of his child,"
Imani chuckled.
"Silly bitch," Naomi muttered.
"Silly indeed, Naomi. This bitch thinks she can be queen. In fact, she is already Queen," Imani said, tilting her head to the side as she stared at Isadora.
"You are fool, Isa," she added.
"You are just jealous, Imani. You will never have my position. Never!" Isadora yelled, still feeling her pounding heart.
Imani scoffed.
"All of you will pay for this. He will bury a knife in your fucking throats!" Isadora yelled.
"Well, we will see about that. Hold her," Imani ordered, turning to the table.
"No!"
The men held Isadora tightly, ceasing her from moving.
Imani turned around with a filled-up syringe in her manicured hands.
Isadora's face twitched at the sight of the syringe filled with a blue substance.
"You can't do this," Isadora said, trembling and trying to move, but the pressure from the men holding is a lot to fight against.
Imani hit the syringe a bit and pushed the bottom, making a tiny drip pop out of the top.
"Imani, no. You can't do this. Where is my baby?! Tell me where my baby is!"
Imani moved closer to her and stabbed the syringe in her left side, making her gasp.
Imani glued her eyes on Isadora's hazel eyes.
Isadora blinked slowly as Imani pushed the entire substance into Isadora.
Imani smirked.
Isadora's eyes closed and her body limped.
Imani took out the syringe and stood up straight.
The men let Isadora go, and her body fell on the tiled floor.
Imani stared at her as she threw the syringe on the table.
"I brought you into this mansion. I will take you out slowly and painfully. You won't even be able to remember your own name," Imani said.
Naomi smirked while staring at Isadora's unconscious body.
She moved her gaze to Imani.
Imani is still staring at Isadora's body.

After One Night with the Alpha
I thought I was waiting for love. Instead, I got fucked by a beast.
My world was supposed to bloom at the Moonshade Bay Full Moon Festival—champagne buzzing in my veins, a hotel room booked for Jason and me to finally cross that line after two years. I’d slipped into lacy lingerie, left the door unlocked, and lay on the bed, heart pounding with nervous excitement.
But the man who climbed into my bed wasn’t Jason.
In the pitch-black room, drowned in a heady, spicy scent that made my head spin, I felt hands—urgent, scorching—searing my skin. His thick, pulsing cock pressed against my dripping cunt, and before I could gasp, he thrust hard, tearing through my innocence with ruthless force. Pain burned, my walls clenching as I clawed at his iron shoulders, stifling sobs. Wet, slick sounds echoed with every brutal stroke, his body unrelenting until he shuddered, spilling hot and deep inside me.
"That was amazing, Jason," I managed to say.
"Who the fuck is Jason?"
My blood turned to ice. Light slashed across his face—Brad Rayne, Alpha of Moonshade Pack, a werewolf, not my boyfriend. Horror choked me as I realized what I’d done.
I ran away for my life!
But weeks later, I woke up pregnant with his heir!
They say my heterochromatic eyes mark me as a rare true mate. But I’m no wolf. I’m just Elle, a nobody from the human district, now trapped in Brad's world.
Brad’s cold gaze pins me: “You carry my blood. You’re mine.”
There is no other choice for me but to chose this cage. My body also betrays me, craving the beast who ruined me.
