I Saved His Life, He Sent Me to Hell
Piper Hayes · Completed · 9.2k Words
Introduction
When I was ten, my parents died saving his family. The Ashfords took me in. He was good to me back then. Somewhere along the way, I fell for him.
When I was eighteen, he nearly died in an ambush. I donated blood, then a kidney to save him. I was unconscious for three days. When I woke up, Vivian Ross sat by his bed—and he believed she was his savior.
After that, he pushed me away. Vivian became his fiancée.
In my past life, Vivian's crimes brought disaster to our family. Dante got on his knees and begged me to take her punishment. I refused. She died anyway. Then he pretended to love me, planned our wedding—and on that day, his assistant announced to everyone: "This wedding was a lesson to show Miss Elena Hayes what it feels like to be abandoned by the whole world."
I jumped from the church balcony.
When I opened my eyes, I was back at that moment—him on his knees, begging.
This time, I said yes.
Dante, from now on, we're done.
Chapter 1
Elena's POV
Dante Ashford is my stepbrother, and the one person I should never have fallen in love with.
When I was ten, my parents died in a car crash saving his. The Ashford family took me in. During those early years, he was good to me. Somewhere between all that kindness and care, I fell for him.
When I was fourteen, men from a rival gang tried to assault me. He came alone and saved me.
When I was eighteen, that same rival family staged a car accident to take him out. He was bleeding out, dying. I donated blood, then a kidney. After surgery, I was unconscious for three days. When I woke up, Vivian Ross was sitting by his bed, and he thought she was the one who saved him.
Vivian told him I got scared and hid. After that, he started avoiding me. Every time I reached out, he treated it like some twisted obsession. Vivian became his public fiancée.
In my past life, Vivian stole classified documents from the Moretti family to sell them. She got caught, beaten half to death, and crawled back. Old man Moretti swore he'd wipe out the entire Ashford family.
Dante got on his knees in front of me. "Elena, please. You're the only one who can save her. Go take the blame for her. Three months, that's all. Then I'll bring you home."
I said no. The Morettis took Vivian anyway. They tortured her for a month before she died.
Then Dante changed. He was kind to me. He even started planning our wedding. I thought everything was finally coming back.
On the wedding day, he didn't show. His assistant announced in front of everyone, "This wedding was a lesson for Miss Elena Hayes, to show her what it feels like to be abandoned by the whole world."
With everyone staring at me like I was nothing, I jumped from the church balcony.
When I opened my eyes again, I was back at that moment—him on his knees, begging.
This time, I answered calmly: "I'll do it."
Dante, from now on, we're done.
"Elena, please. You're the only one who can save her."
I'm back at the exact moment he begged me to take Vivian's place with the Morettis. Last time I said no, and it ended with me jumping off a balcony at a fake wedding.
I already gave him a kidney to save his life. My body still hasn't fully recovered. Going to the Morettis is a death sentence.
But this time I see it clearly—say yes and die, say no and die anyway.
Might as well use this death to cut ties for good.
"I'll do it."
He freezes. All those arguments he had ready just die in his throat.
The family lawyer speaks up, his voice sharp with alarm. "Miss Hayes, think about what you're doing. You know what the Morettis do to people—"
I know exactly what they'll do. But if dying gets me out of this suffocating place for good, then fine.
Dante looks at me, and the tension in his face finally eases. "You agreed, so I'll keep my promise. Whatever you want in return, name it."
"I only have one condition—I want to cut all ties with the Ashford family. After this, I'm not your daughter anymore. I'm not your sister."
He frowns. "You serious?"
He probably thought I'd use this to make him break off his engagement to Vivian. Didn't expect me to want out completely.
I nod.
His expression goes cold, his tone carrying a warning. "Elena, stop playing games. Even if you leave the family, it doesn't mean there's any chance for us."
"She's the one. The only person I'll ever protect."
My heart clenches. In my past life, I showed him all the evidence proving Vivian stole credit for saving him. He never believed me once.
So this time, all I want is distance. As much as possible.
"I understand."
He stares at me like he's picking up on something different. Then footsteps rush in from outside. The family doctor's helping Vivian walk in.
Blood still stains her face, her arm wrapped in bandages, and she's coughing hard every few steps.
Dante's on his feet immediately, steadying her.
Vivian looks at me weakly, her eyes red. "Elena... will you help me?"
I don't say anything.
Tears run down her face. "I know you don't like me. I've caused you so much trouble over the years. If going to the Morettis because of me makes you even a little happy, then..."
The coughing takes over before she can finish, her whole body shaking.
The doctor says quietly, "Miss Ross is badly injured. She needs rest."
Dante looks at her pale face, pain flashing in his eyes. He turns to me, his tone leaving no room for argument. "She needs proper rest for the next few days. I'll have people prepare the master bedroom for her."
He pauses. "Clear out your room. Move your stuff to the guest room. I don't want her seeing anything she shouldn't."
Those things—replicas of every medal he ever earned, photo albums from when I was ten until now, diaries filled with "I love you" on every page, walls covered in pictures of us together.
I dig my nails into my palms, using the pain to keep everything down.
"Okay."
Vivian tugs gently at Dante's sleeve. "Dante, isn't this too much to ask of her? I can stay anywhere, really..."
"You're in bad shape. Of course you need the best room." Dante cuts her off, his voice soft. "Elena won't mind. Right?"
He looks at me. He's not asking. He's telling me.
I don't respond. I just turn and leave the study.
In the garden, I sit on a bench and pull out my phone.
"Mom, it's me. Remember when you mentioned the Bellamy family from the east side wanting to form an alliance? I'll marry into their family."

Falling For The Biker: The Vice President's Girl
His eyes darken, flicking to my mouth.
"It's wrong. Your brother would slit my throat for just standing this close. But tell me, little bird" his breath ghosts my skin, "are you trembling because you hate me… or because you've wanted this just as much as I have?"
Wren thought she'd buried the chaos of New Orleans for good—the clubs, the blood-soaked loyalties, the men who lived and died by their kuttes. Seattle gave her everything she ever wanted: freedom, love, a future.
But one betrayal shatters it all.
Dragged home by tragedy, Wren finds herself under the watchful eye of Ezra Jax—the Raven Reapers MC's vice president and her brother's best friend. He's infuriating, dangerous, and far too tempting for a man she should never touch.
And the deeper Wren is pulled back into his world, the more she realizes nothing about her past—or about Ezra—is what she believed.
In the chaos of gang wars, mounting debts, and old betrayals, he becomes the one constant. The more she fights him, the harder she falls. And the more he pushes her away, the more lethal his pull becomes.
Because in this world, love isn't sweet.
It's brutal. Bloody.
And it's bound to break them both.
When loyalty is everything and love can cost your life, will Wren risk her heart on the one man she was never meant to love?
After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire's Arms
On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
A Lesson in Magic
The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."
Danielle Harris is the daughter of an overprotective police chief and has led a sheltered life. As a kindergarten teacher, she's as far removed from the world of Harleys and bikers as you could get, but when she's rescued by the sexy and dangerous Austin Carver, her life is changed forever.

Heartbroken, Sable discovered Darrell having sex with his ex in their bed, while secretly transferring hundreds of thousands to support that woman.
Even worse was overhearing Darrell laugh to his friends: "She's useful—obedient, doesn't cause trouble, handles housework, and I can fuck her whenever I need relief. She's basically a live-in maid with benefits." He made crude thrusting gestures, sending his friends into laughter.
In despair, Sable left, reclaimed her true identity, and married her childhood neighbor—Lycan King Caelan, nine years her senior and her fated mate. Now Darrell desperately tries to win her back. How will her revenge unfold?

Triplet Alpha: My Fated Mates
"No." "I'm fine."
"Fuck," he breathes. "You're—"
"Don't." My voice cracks. "Please don't say it."
"Aroused." He says it anyway. "You're aroused."
"I'm not—"
"Your scent." His nostrils flare. "Kara, you smell like—"
"Stop." I cover my face with my hands. "Just—stop."
Then his hand on my wrist, pulling my hands away.
"There's nothing wrong with wanting us," he says softly. "It's natural. You're our mate. We're yours."
"I know." My voice is barely a whisper.
I spent ten years as a ghost in the Sterling mansion—a debt slave to the triplet Alphas who made my life hell. They called me "Carrot," shoved me into frozen rivers, and left me to die in the snow when I was eleven.
On my eighteenth birthday, everything changed. My first shift released a scent of white musk and first snow—and three former tormentors stood outside my door, claiming I was their fated mate. All three of them.
Overnight, the debt vanished. Asher's commands turned to vows, Blake's fists became trembling apologies, and Cole swore they'd been waiting for me all along. They declared me their Luna and promised to spend their lives atoning.
My wolf howls to accept them. But one question haunts me:
Would that eleven-year-old girl, freezing and certain she would die, forgive the choice I'm about to make?
The CEO Above My Desk
“I know she does.”
“And what if she doesn’t want this kind of protection?”
“She will,” I say, my voice lowering slightly. “Because she needs a man who can give her the world.”
“And if the world burns?”
My hand tightens subtly at Violet’s waist.
“Then I’ll build her a new one,” I reply. “Even if I have to burn the old one down myself.”
I don’t work for Rowan Ashcroft.
I work beneath him.
From my desk, I decide who gets access to the most ruthless CEO in the city, and who never makes it past the lobby. I manage his time, his silence, his enemies. I keep his world running while my own quietly collapses under unpaid bills, a mother locked in rehab, and a brother who vanished without a goodbye.
Rowan Ashcroft is power wrapped in a tailored suit.
Cold. Untouchable. Merciless.
He doesn’t flirt. He doesn’t smile. He doesn’t see people, only usefulness.
And for a long time, I was just useful.
Until he started watching.
A shift in his attention is subtle at first. A pause too long. A look that lingers. Orders that pull me closer instead of pushing me away. The man who stands above my desk begins to control more than my schedule, and I realize too late that being noticed by Rowan Ashcroft is far more dangerous than being ignored.
Because men like him don’t crave affection.
They crave possession.
This was supposed to be a job.
Not a test of my limits.
Not a slow, deliberate descent into his authority.
But if Rowan Ashcroft decides I belong under his desk, then so be it.
Survival has a price, and the bills don’t care how I pay them.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
