· Completed · 60.5k Words
Introduction
“Just seeing his face makes me sick of the smell of buffalo dung. Why hasn't he left our home yet?”
Those venomous words escaped Theerapat’s lips the moment his eyes met Thongdee, the longtime livestock caretaker of the family farm.
Theerapat despised Thongdee more than anyone, believing he was his mother’s secret lover, and the very reason their family had fallen apart.
But the more he hated him... the more their paths seemed to cross.
After his father’s death, the will revealed a shocking condition:
To inherit his share, Theerapat must spend three months working on the farm, and the person assigned to train him…?
None other than the man he loathed most in the world…
“Uncle Thongdee.”

Introduction
“Theerapat” had been back from England for three days now. After staying in his room until the jetlag completely wore off, his sister took him out for a horseback ride along the forest, which was private property belonging to the wealthy “Khunlakorn” family. This family had thrived in the agricultural business for three generations and owned the renowned “Denchai Farm.”
The young man wore Hermès boots, pure white trousers, and a dark blue cashmere shirt. Even though he chose the thinnest style, it was no match for the Thailand’s sun, causing small beads of sweat to form along his handsome face, highlighting his naturally fair and slightly flushed skin.
"Next time, just wear a soft shirt. Did you think you were at a polo club in Eastbourne or something?"
"I don't have any thin shirts to wear," the younger brother replied wearily, prompting Thanrada, his older sister, to chuckle.
"Then tomorrow, I'll take you shopping in town."
"It takes an hour to get to the city."
"Stop complaining."
"Can't I stay in Bangkok first, P’Tia? If anything comes up, I can take a helicopter back."
"For now, let's stay together at home. Can you be patient?"
The younger brother rolled his eyes but did not argue further with his sister.
As the sun began to set, the pair rode their horses out of the forest, returning to the animal farm built behind the luxurious Roman-style mansion. What caught Theerapat's attention was a tan-skinned man riding a horse around the training field enclosed by a wooden fence. His round backside under the jeans, bounced in rhythm with the horse, his thick waist moving up and down as if performing a mysterious dance.
As their eyes met by chance, the man on the horse was startled and quickly turned his face away, revealing a clear scar on his right cheek. The handsome young man clenched his jaw, suppressing the hatred in his heart.
Neigh!
Sensing the rider's unease, the horse in the training field stomped his feet and reared up suddenly.
"Uncle Thong, be careful!"
Thanrada shouted with concern. The large man gave her a simple smile. "Thank you, Miss Tia, I'm alright." His rough, calloused hands, hardened from years of hard work, stroked the young horse's mane until he calmed down.
Theerapat sneered, earning a pinch on the shoulder from his sister. Then Thanrada smiled sweetly.
"Uncle Thong, this is Theerapat. Do you remember him?" She pointed to her brother, who was rubbing his sore shoulder.
"Yes, M... Mr. Theerapat, hello."
The dark-skinned man smiled faintly, raising his hands in a respectful gesture, but Theerapat pretended not to see and guided his horse away into the stable. He dismounted and handed the reins to a servant. After a moment, Thanrada joined him, and the two siblings drove a golf cart back to the mansion, about 200 meters from the farm.
"Still not used to the heat, are you?"
Thanrada asked her brother, who was steering beside her, his handsome face became more sullen than before.
"That guy."
"Who?"
"That Uncle Thong."
"..."
“Just seeing his face makes me sick of the smell of buffalo dung. Why hasn't he left our home yet?”
Thanrada frowned upon hearing this.
“You still remember?”
“Who could forget?”
“Consider it a good deed. Father doesn't hold any grudges anymore.”
“...”
“Uncle Thong is still at the cottage. He won't bother us at the main house.”
“Has he been there alone for 20 years?”
“Yes, Uncle Thong doesn't have a wife or kids.”
Theerapat sneered upon hearing this.
“Exactly, with a face so dumb like a buffalo, who would want to breed with him?”

When the music finally stopped, my arms were wrapped around his neck, his hands resting on my back, our noses almost touching. He gazed deeply into my eyes.
The ballroom fell silent.
Was he about to kiss me?

He doesn't answer.
So she asks: 'What are we?’
He told her not to fall in love with one piece.
She fell anyway.
