Introduction
âI have to give it to you, Sancia; you're a good liar. For a while, I almost believed you,â he drawled, his finger still buried in my throbbing core. He inches back and stares me in the eyes again.
His eyes hooded with that familiar possessive glint. âNow that we've cleared all doubt out of the way. Your pussy best remains this way until I take what was rightfully mine, or else.â He grinned darkly and slowly withdrew his finger....
To escape an arranged marriage with a man she hates and fearsâLorenzo Marchetti! A rival Capo! A man with a frightening reputation and nicknamed Diavolo (devil). Sancia is willing to go to any length to stop this wedding, even if it means giving away her most prized possession in the eyes of Famiglia to a stranger.
Her virginity! The Vicenzo Famiglia are traditionalists who still uphold the bloody sheets tradition, which, to them, symbolizes honor and purity. Any bride found without the sign of virginity is considered dishonored, punished, and banished from the famiglia. To Sancia that is nothing compares to her dreams and future.
To Lorenzo, Sancia's defiance only feeds his obsession. When he finds out that she was planning to give something he considers his to a stranger, Lorenzo takes his place and takes her virginity for himself.
What will Sancia do when she realizes not only did lorenzo ruins her plans, but heâs also the stranger she gave her virginity to? As hatred burns into something far more dangerous, and passion blurs the line between love and possession. Will the flame of desire end a century-old feud between two rival famiglia? Or destroy them both?

LORENZO
Two Years Ago, Villa Marchetti.
âPlease, Enzo, have mercy. I am useful, and I will prove it to you. Just give me a chance, and I will be loyal to you forever. I vow it. IâŠI know thingsâŠ.useful things. So many things about your grandfather even you donât know about,â the bloody man at my feet rambles, shamelessly cryingâthe coward.
Thereâs absolutely nothing he has to offer me in exchange for his miserable life. Even if he hadnât shot at my cousin, I would still have ended him. Because Iâm an asshole who holds grudges, and I have a grudge against him.
Besides, thereâs no place for a spineless coward in my kingdom. If you think about it, Iâm even doing him a favor; it is better if he dies at my hand than wait for Alessandro to end him. The waiting might drive him insane.
I ignore him as I watch the pile of bodies burning right outside the Villa Marchetti. The only place I ever identified as home, despite every hardship I had gone through here. Maybe it has something to do with my Nonna or the cousin who was my role model growing up.
To be honest, I donât know. However, I know I have waited more than a decade for this day; today, I will kill my enemies. Tomorrow, I will begin my rule. Who says patience doesnât pay off has never really put in the effort for what he wants. But I have, because if I have one thing in abundance, it is my patience to wait, even when things donât look particularly positive.
âWeâre family, Enzo. I have family, a wife, and my daughter. Sheâs about to have a baby. DiventerĂČ nonnoâ (I will become a grandfather). He ended in Italian, finally recognizing death as I started over to Luca, my second in command. Benedetto has always been like that, all talk, no action, a fucking coward.
âYouâre not my family, Benedetto. Youâre a sick, twisted man and a thief. A coward who will do anything to survive instead of dying with honor. Your master is dead and cold, but like the fucking cockroach you are, you refuse to die. Instead, you decide to steal from your boss, and you break your omerta. You have no dignity, none.â
âAnd trust me, those kids and grandkids you mentioned, they would be better off without you, Luca, the sword.â I stretch my fingers for my favorite weapon of punishment.
âSsâŠswoâŠsword? What sword, Enzo?â he sputtered, those greedy eyes bloodshot and wide with panic and fear. I grin, my hand wrapped around the hilt of the double-edged sword.
âThis,â I said, stroking the sword like it was the lush body of a beautiful woman with a single finger. I hissed as the sharp edge cut through my finger, and my grin widened.
âThis isnât just a sword, Benedetto; sheâs La giustizia. I guessed that with old age, your memories must have also started failing you.â Using the sharp tip of the sword, I lift his red-mottled face to stare into my eyes. Red blood beaded on the tip as it dug a little deeper into his flesh than I intended.
âThis was the same sword you had told Nonno about and had it confiscated from me when I was sixteen? No? You donât remember?â There was no recollection in his eyes, the fucker. I was a bit disappointed, to be honest.
âJesu Cristo, Iâm begging you, Enzo!â
âShhhh,â I shush him with the sword on his lips. His eyes turn impossibly bigger. Luca and the other soldiers chuckle as poor Benedetto begins to wet his pants. I frown in disgust.
âNow, Benedetto, you might call me deranged for wanting to use a sword on you, but in my opinion, what I am is petty, and to be honest, a gun is a little too impersonal for what I feel for you.â I pull my hand back.
âI never forgot all the things you said to my Nonno about me, give him a message from me.â
âEnzoâŠ.â
âRot in hell.â Then I swung hard, severing his head from his body. Blood splashed on my face and body as his body shook for what felt like hours but was mere minutes.
Fabio hands me a crisp white handkerchief. I wipe the sword clean and throw it on the waste of human beings at my feet.
âTake his head and his body to join the others,â I ordered, and watched as three soldiers rushed to do my bidding.
âWe did everything you asked,â Luca said, pointing at the soldiers carrying the empty gallons of fuel.
âThe servants?â I asked, taking out my accendino (lighter) from my pants pocket.
âEveryone is gone, Enzo; I double-checked everything myself. I also took out all the necessary things like the metals.â
âGood.â I nodded. While the house needed cleansing, the guns did not. It would be a waste and pure stupidity to burn guns worth that much.
âWhat now?â I flipped it open, switched on the lighter, lit my cigarette, took a pull once, twice, then flung it into space until it landed near the entrance, lighting the ground with a small flame that began to spread and grow.
âLet it burn.â I stride towards my car without a second glance at the mansion now completely engulfed in flames. I get in the backseat, and Fabio and Luca join me in the front, with Fabio in the driverâs seat.
âWhere are we going?â Fabio asked.
âTo the hospital, Iâm going to check on my cousin.â I stroke the sword thatâs now sheathed and on my thighs. My brows creased; it was time I finally checked on the man who had helped me achieve my goals.
I know his condition is critical, but I donât know how critical. Though Iâm a little worried, it didnât last because I know that stubborn asshole will pull through.
He has to!

On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

A Lesson in Magic
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been gloryâblood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend meâhe sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrenderâdive into the waves and never surfaceâbut the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precisionâbecoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding strangerâand my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me payâand take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My FiancĂ©âThen Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancĂ© nowâbillionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didnât mind. Iâd crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. Thatâs when it hit meâhe didnât love me. He didnât even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasnât even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disasterâmy parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. Iâd met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision Iâd ever made.
Because my one-night stand isnât just some random guy. Heâs richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, heâs not letting me go.
