Moving Into His Ex-Girlfriend's Dream House
Fuzzy Melissa · Completed · 9.4k Words
Introduction
A woman stood up and stopped everything.
"I'm so moved seeing you both live in the house I designed." She raised her champagne, smiling like she owned the place. "The architecture, the interiors, the gardens—all mine."
My fiancé Dorian didn't even explain. Just helped her out, left me standing there in front of a hundred guests.
That's when it hit me: I'd been living in his ex-girlfriend's custom-built dream house for three years.
I found the blueprints later. Every page in her handwriting: "S loves morning light," "island height for S," "bathtub sized for two."
Date stamp: March 2019—a year before we met.
I confronted him. He shoved me, impatient.
I fell down the stairs. Lost the baby.
He was in the hospital hallway on his phone: "Don't worry, I'm coming over. We can't let rumors destroy Seraphina's career."
I lay there touching my empty stomach, and something clicked.
I was going to take that house back. Then tear it down myself.
Brick by brick. Smash it all.
Chapter 1
I did it. I actually did it.
Standing beneath the flower arch at the Malibu cliffside villa, clutching my fiancé Dorian Sterling's hand, I felt like I'd stepped into a dream.
White roses gleamed in the afternoon sun, ocean breeze caressing my cheeks, while a hundred impeccably dressed guests smiled in our direction.
This custom wedding gown—a thirty-thousand-dollar masterpiece of silk and lace—perfectly concealed my five-month pregnancy.
In just eight months, I'd gone from a cramped apartment in East LA to a luxury Malibu estate, gaining everything I'd ever wanted.
I glanced at my parents in the front row. Tears streamed down their faces.
"Look at all this, Maria. Our girl really made it," Dad—Rafael—said, his voice breaking. "Look at this villa, these guests. I've never seen anything like this."
Mom squeezed his hand tight. "She deserves every bit of it. She's so talented, works so hard."
My own tears threatened to spill. Yes, I deserved this.
I was Valentina Reyes, a Mexican-American girl who'd built a career as a talented interior designer through sheer determination, and was now about to marry one of Los Angeles's most successful real estate developers.
This villa, beautiful as a fairytale, would soon be my home.
Guests whispered their admiration around us:
"Dorian really found himself a beauty."
"I heard she's an interior designer, quite talented."
"What a perfect couple—like something out of a movie."
A surge of pride rushed through me.
The officiant cleared his throat, his voice carrying over the ocean breeze.
"Dorian Sterling, do you take Valentina Reyes to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do you part?"
"I do." Dorian's voice rang out firm and passionate, those blue eyes fixed on me as if I were his entire world.
My heart nearly burst from my chest. This was my moment. I'd finally made it.
"Valentina Reyes, do you take—"
"Wait."
A cool, feminine voice cut through the sacred ceremony from the back of the guest section. My body went rigid, dread washing over me.
Everyone turned. I spun around to see a woman in a crisp white suit walking gracefully across the lawn, each step radiating confidence, as if she owned the place.
My chest tightened. A dangerous instinct made my skin prickle.
This woman was beautiful—breathtakingly so—but what terrified me more was the ease with which she carried herself, like she possessed everything...
I smoothed my wedding dress reflexively, suddenly feeling like a fraud.
"Seraphina?" Shock and panic laced Dorian's voice. "What... what are you doing here?"
Seraphina? I'd never heard Dorian mention that name, but the way he said it—that familiarity, that intimacy—sent fear coursing through me.
Seraphina stopped before us, raising her champagne flute with a perfect smile directed at all the guests. "I came to toast the happy couple, of course."
She turned to Dorian, something complex flickering in her eyes. "Congratulations, Dorian. Seeing you both living inside the blueprint I designed—it truly moves me."
No. This couldn't be happening.
I shook my head frantically. "Blueprint? What are you talking about? You're lying." My voice came out shaky, my mind desperately trying to deny what I was hearing.
Seraphina took an elegant sip of champagne, then turned to me with a smile that sent chills down my spine.
"Dear bride, I hope you're enjoying the 'future home' I created for your husband."
She laughed softly. "From the architectural design to the interior décor, from the garden layout to today's wedding planning—every single detail came from me. Are you satisfied?"
What?!
I looked around wildly. This villa that had stolen my heart, this perfect wedding that had moved me to tears—all of it was another woman's creation?
The world tilted. I felt like the world's biggest fool.
The guests erupted in murmurs:
"Who is she?"
"What's she talking about? Her design?"
"Dorian, what's going on?"
"Seraphina, you've had too much to drink." Dorian's voice came out tight, and I saw fine beads of sweat forming on his forehead. "This isn't the place for this."
He was protecting her. The man who was supposed to be my husband was protecting another woman.
"Too much to drink?" Seraphina suddenly swayed, appearing genuinely intoxicated. "Maybe you're right... I shouldn't have come..."
Her voice turned fragile, tears glistening in her eyes. "I just wanted to see it—the future we planned together—who's living it now."
The future we planned together? My heart shattered.
In that moment, I watched Dorian's expression completely transform. Without hesitation, he moved toward Seraphina, reaching out to steady her.
At our wedding. In front of everyone. He chose another woman.
Anger flared hot in my chest. I wanted to scream, to demand answers, to rip off this false wedding dress, but I couldn't move.
"Valentina, I can't let her drive in this condition." He didn't even look back at me. "I'll get her to a hotel. You handle the guests."
"Dorian!" Desperation cracked my voice. "You can't just leave our wedding—"
But before I could finish, Dorian was already hurrying away with Seraphina leaning against him, leaving me alone beneath the flower arch, my legs weak, barely able to stand.
I bit down hard on my lower lip, fighting to keep from breaking down in front of everyone.
"What... what just happened?" Dad jumped to his feet, looking shell-shocked. "Valentina, who is that woman?"
Mom was already crying. "My daughter, my poor baby..."
The guests' chatter grew louder, each comment a fresh wound:
"Did the groom just ditch the bride at their own wedding?"
"That Seraphina must be something special—did you see how he rushed to her?"
"Oh my God, this is mortifying. If this were my daughter, I'd get her out of here right now."
I stood there alone, five months pregnant, under the gaze of a hundred people, truly seeing this villa—the one that had held all my dreams—for the first time.
I'd been living in someone else's love story this whole time.
The ocean breeze turned bitter. The sunlight dimmed. I touched my belly gently, a terrifying thought forming: if even this wedding was Seraphina's design, how much of Dorian's love for me was ever real?
I stared at the spot where Dorian had disappeared with Seraphina, tears finally breaking free. And that elegant, poised woman's mention of a "blueprint"—what secrets was it hiding that I knew nothing about?
This day—what should have been the most beautiful of my life—had become my worst nightmare. Me, Valentina Reyes, a pregnant bride, publicly abandoned by her almost-husband.
Had any of this beauty ever belonged to me?
Or had I been nothing more than a stand-in in someone else's love story from the very start?

Bella and Her Beast
.
Locked in her frozen tower, Bella dreamed of warmth, of touch, of freedom and of love. Cursed with the power of ice and snow, she’s spent her life alone. A secret they tried to protect the world from. Her only escape comes in the form of the books she reads. Stories of heat, desire, and the kind of love that could melt even her frostbitten heart.
Damien is the Beast. A dragon King with a temper forged in flame and a soul hollowed by duty. The world fears him. The people call him a monster. But beneath the scales and the rage lies a man who has never been touched by love.
When frost meets fire, the world shatters. She was never meant to leave her tower. He was never meant to find her. But destiny doesn’t bow to kings or care for cages and now the question burns through them both: Can Bella have her Beast? Or will the girl of snow melt in the heat of his desire?
.
"I’m keeping her."
"What?"
Before I can react, he scoops her up. Her small body fits easily in the cradle of his talons. For a split second, she looks startled, but not afraid. Her hand rests against one scaled finger, and she stares up at him with that same curious wonder, as though she’s already forgotten she was ever meant to fear me.
"Put her down," I try to command, panic threading through my thoughts. "You’ll hurt her."
"She’s ours," the beast insists, possessive and fierce. "Our snowflake."
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
Taste of Fate: The Vampire King's Human Mate
He reached for the back of my head and pulled me up just enough to reach my neck. When his fangs slid into me, the pain was instant, electric. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t think. My hands found his shoulders, clawing for something to hold. My legs kicked. Tears streamed down my cheeks.
He moaned against my throat as he drank, and the sound was devastating.
Reborn To Rule: I Will Seize The Throne!
He paused, his gaze never leaving mine.
"And I don't share what's mine."

I died on my son's death anniversary, betrayed by the man I'd devoted my entire life to, and the woman who stood by, smiling as I took my last breath… was my very own sister.
When I opened my eyes again, I was five years in the past—before the betrayal, before my death and before the beginning of it all.
This time, I refused to marry the man who destroyed me.
Instead, I walked straight into the arms of the only man the entire Empire feared—Crown Prince Alpha Rhaedon Ashkaar.
Rhaedon was everything Lucien wasn't.
Dangerous. Competent. Powerful.
And the perfect weapon for my revenge.
He wanted the throne. I wanted vengeance.
It should have been the perfect alliance, but revenge was never that simple.
With every step I took toward my revenge, another secret from my first life came to light. The deeper I dug, the more I realized I wasn't the only one playing this game.
And by the time I uncovered the truth...
Walking away from Rhaedon Ashkaar was no longer an option.
From Substitute To Queen
Heartbroken, Sable discovered Darrell having sex with his ex in their bed, while secretly transferring hundreds of thousands to support that woman.
Even worse was overhearing Darrell laugh to his friends: "She's useful—obedient, doesn't cause trouble, handles housework, and I can fuck her whenever I need relief. She's basically a live-in maid with benefits." He made crude thrusting gestures, sending his friends into laughter.
In despair, Sable left, reclaimed her true identity, and married her childhood neighbor—Lycan King Caelan, nine years her senior and her fated mate. Now Darrell desperately tries to win her back. How will her revenge unfold?
From substitute to queen—her revenge has just begun!
After One Night with the Alpha
I thought I was waiting for love. Instead, I got fucked by a beast.
My world was supposed to bloom at the Moonshade Bay Full Moon Festival—champagne buzzing in my veins, a hotel room booked for Jason and me to finally cross that line after two years. I’d slipped into lacy lingerie, left the door unlocked, and lay on the bed, heart pounding with nervous excitement.
But the man who climbed into my bed wasn’t Jason.
In the pitch-black room, drowned in a heady, spicy scent that made my head spin, I felt hands—urgent, scorching—searing my skin. His thick, pulsing cock pressed against my dripping cunt, and before I could gasp, he thrust hard, tearing through my innocence with ruthless force. Pain burned, my walls clenching as I clawed at his iron shoulders, stifling sobs. Wet, slick sounds echoed with every brutal stroke, his body unrelenting until he shuddered, spilling hot and deep inside me.
"That was amazing, Jason," I managed to say.
"Who the fuck is Jason?"
My blood turned to ice. Light slashed across his face—Brad Rayne, Alpha of Moonshade Pack, a werewolf, not my boyfriend. Horror choked me as I realized what I’d done.
I ran away for my life!
But weeks later, I woke up pregnant with his heir!
They say my heterochromatic eyes mark me as a rare true mate. But I’m no wolf. I’m just Elle, a nobody from the human district, now trapped in Brad's world.
Brad’s cold gaze pins me: “You carry my blood. You’re mine.”
There is no other choice for me but to chose this cage. My body also betrays me, craving the beast who ruined me.
