My Husand Chose My Sister
Joy Aghogho · Completed · 10.3k Words
Introduction
I was so happy, and thought I would finally have my happily ever after.
I was wrong.
Three years later, I was slapped with divorce papers, and lost my baby.
My husand had chose my sister, and abandoned me.
And that was his worst mistake.
Chapter 1
I smiled, staring at the place which I had single handedly decorated.
Tonight would mark my three years anniversary with my husband Kyle. The thought had happiness brewing in my chest. I had even worn his favorite color, red, wanting to make tonight a bit extra special.
I glanced at my phone, it was almost midnight, and Kyle wasn’t back, uneasiness raced through me, where I instantly turned worried. He wasn’t picking my calls, or returning my texts.
Did something happen to him? I paced around the room, not knowing who else to call-
I halted when my phone dinged with a notification. I frowned, opening the file to find that it was a video.
“Ah….Kyle….I missed you so much….”
“I missed you too baby.” Kyle kissed her, and the woman was none other than my step sister, Lydia. Tears immediately pooled in my eyes, gripping onto the phone.
“You’re going to stay with me tonight right? You won’t meet up with that ugly bitch right?”
“Of course not, why would I go back home to that old pig, when I have you Lydia.” They both chuckled, where Kyle kissed her passionately.
My phone slipped and fell from my hands, where my stomach tightened, and a single line of tears rolled down my face.
My husband…… he’s having an affair with my own sister…..
I shook my head, no.
No.
Kyle would never do such a thing to me. He loved me, we were in love with each other. He said he loved me.
If this is some kind of cruel joke, I will make sure the person behind this pays.
I grabbed my keys and drove them to Kings Cooperation, my husband’s company. I charged inside, heading towards his office, where I saw my parents.
My eyes narrowed, “Mommy, Dad,” I stared at both of them in confusion. “What are you guys doing here?”
My dad cleared his throat, avoiding my gaze.
“I think we should be the ones asking you that question Mia, what the fuck are you doing here, shouldn’t you be at home?” Hurled my mom, giving me a side glare.
My brows furrowed, “It’s my husband’s company, which means I can be here whenever I want.” I stood firm. “And you still haven’t answered my question, what are you doing here?”
“We came here to discuss business with Kyle, and we came to a conclusion. We think you should divorce him, so that your sister can marry him.”
“What?” I narrowed my eyes, stunned.
“Don’t act shocked Mia, your sister was supposed to marry him before he went into a coma, and now that he is perfectly fine, she should get what’s rightfully hers.” Said my stepfather.
“Are you even listening to yourself? I should divorce my husband so that Lydia can marry him. I was with him when he was in a coma, I took care of him. Cleaned and fed him, where was my dearest sister at that time-”
A slap landed on my face, twisting my head to the side. The ringing sound quickly filled my ears.
My stepfather pointed, “You ungrateful bitch, after everything I have done for you. Can’t you allow your sister to have this one thing. You selfish pig.” He glared, then tossed a file onto the ground. “This is the divorce agreement, sign it, and if you refuse, I will disown you, you will no longer be a part of the Hudson family name!”
I held my cheek, where tears blurred my vision, my lips trembling.
My mother stepped forward, “Sign the papers Mia, be responsible. Lydia loves him, and I think it’s best that she marries him.”
They walked away, and I stood there, trying to comprehend what was happening. I wiped my tears, running upstairs.
Entering Kyle’s office……
And he was there, with my sister…..
“Christ Mia! Can’t you knock.” He hurriedly scrambled off Lydia.
“Mia….when did you get here?” Lydia innocently said.
My eyes raced from her, then to my husband.
Trembling I voiced, “What’s happening here Kyle?”
He cleared his throat, “Lydia had an episode so I was just making sure that she’s alright.”
“In your office, together?” I asked.
“You know she has special needs, Mia, stop overreacting.” Kyle waved it off.
“Please don’t blame him, he was only helping me.” Lydia smiled at me.
“Do you know what today is Kyle, it’s our three years marriage anniversary, and I was at home waiting for you, and you’re here with my sister instead. What do you expect me to think.”
“Why do you always have to make it about yourself Mia, I clearly told you that Lydia needed me, what fucked up part of that can’t you understand!” He yelled, where I stumbled backwards, eyes widened.
“Please calm down Kyle.” Lydia jumped up, grabbing his arm. Her eyes then traveled to me. “Please Mia calm down, it’s not his fault. I should probably go.” Lydia turned, grabbing her bag.
“You don’t have to leave Lydia, what if you collapse again, just wait I will take you home myself.” Kyle proposed, ignoring my existence.
“I’m fucking standing here Kyle, I’m your wife!” I screamed, the pain in my heart tightening.
I charged towards him, about to grab his wrist, when Lydia painfully yelled, falling to the ground.
“Ahhh!!! My chest!” She gasped painfully.
Confused I stared at my sister, who clutched her chest.
“Have you gone mad! Why did you push her!” Kyle rushed forward, shoving me away, where I missed my footing, hitting the table with my stomach.
A sharp pain erupted from my abdomen.
“Lydia are you alright?” Came Kyle’s panicked voice, holding my sister’s face, worried.
“I……I can’t breathe……” she sobbed.
“Shit, I will take you to the hospital.” Kyle quickly lifted her up, carrying her in his arms.
“You better pray that nothing happens to her Mia, because I will fucking make you pay,” he glared at me, before walking away.

“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”

The CEO's Unspoken Love
Before I could answer, he moved closer, suddenly looming over me, his face inches from mine. I felt my breath caught, my lips parting in surprise.
"Then this is the price for speaking ill of me to others," he murmured, nipping my lower lip before claiming my mouth in a real kiss. It began as punishment but quickly transformed into something else entirely as I responded, my initial rigidity melting into compliance, then active participation.
My breathing accelerated, small sounds escaping my throat as he explored my body. His touches were both punishment and pleasure, drawing shudders from me that I thought he felt reverberating through his own body.

Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

I gasped into him, his hand sliding up to cup my jaw, holding me as if afraid I might vanish.
"You drive me insane," he breathed against my mouth, his lips trailing to my throat. "I can't lose you, Ella. Not you."
My head fell back, a soft sound escaping me as his fingers memorized my waist. My anger melted beneath his desperation.
"James..." I whispered, more plea than protest.
His hand caught mine, fingers threading together tightly. "I'll bring him back. I swear it. Just... don't turn away from me. Please."
The word please—low, ragged, almost broken—undid me more than anything else could have.
