Introduction
However, her reason was not accepted, and she was given three months to become pregnant, or her father's medication would be removed. Alma, unwilling to watch anything happen to her father, decided to try harder—only to catch her husband with another woman, his skill leaving her stunned and confused. He was roughly thrusting into another woman, but he appears weak when he's with her.
Broken and desperate, Alma ended up in the club; there, she met a mysterious man who stirred feelings she couldn’t ignore. Despite this, Alma didn't go too far because she remembered that the heir had to come directly from Luis.
During her husband's father's memorial, the mysterious man showed up again and was introduced as her husband's best friend..
His presence stirs up the emotions she suppressed that night, swearing that nothing would happen between them.
Everything changed when Alma was told she had been moved to a new and more experienced gynecologist, only to discover that her new gynecologist was none other than her husband's best friend.
Will Alma refuse to stick with her new gynecologist, and will she be able to give the Flores an heir within three months?
Chapter 1
ALMA
There is nothing more frustrating than being forced to give an heir to a powerful family while your husband can’t even last five minutes in bed. And to make it worse, I’m the one who always gets blamed for not giving them a child.
If only I could get myself pregnant with my vibrator, the one that always brings me to climax when his few minutes of thrusting turns me on and leaves me hanging. If only my vibrator could really get me pregnant, I would have spared myself this familiar scene.
This is like the hundredth time Lady Flores, my mother-in-law, has summoned me this year concerning this very issue of an heir, as if it's up to me alone.
“Any good news, Alma?” She asked softly as she slowly sipped her green tea. I took a deep breath, trying to calm my racing heart.
“Mother, we are still trying our best,” I whispered softly. I pressed my lips together and shut my eyes, bracing myself for her usual reaction, which is the sound of a glass cup shattering or a loud slam on the wooden table.
But this time, nothing happened.
Slowly, I opened my eyes and looked at her. Her face was calm, too calm. A strange unease crept into my chest.
What on earth is she planning now?
She carefully placed the teacup on the table and crossed her legs, then folded her hands. Her short haircut and thick red lip gloss always made her look like the strict, cold mother-in-law in Asian movies—and she truly was one.
Her brown eyes locked onto mine for a long moment before she finally sighed.
“Alma,” she called my name. It sounded more like a warning than affection as she reached for her tea again.
“You have only three months. If you fail to give the Flores family an heir, your father’s medication will stop.” she said softly,
Every word was firm, final, and merciless.
My heart sank into my stomach, and my knees almost gave way. This is the first time she has had a threat involved, and I know Lady Flores; she's a no-nonsense woman. Luis also answered to her, including his uncles and aunties. There was no doubt she meant her words, but how on earth was I supposed to make Luis get me pregnant with his weak condition?
She got up slowly and walked upstairs, her words still hanging in the air like a final sentence. A guard escorted me out of the house.
As I drove away, her threat kept ringing in my mind. I had two hours before Luis returned from the office. Two hours to think. Two hours to come up with a tangible plan—any plan that could save my father.
I can’t let Lady Flores cut off his medication. The hospital bills alone are more than I can ever earn even in the ten years to come if I resume my delivery job, and my father is still lying unconscious, dependent on oxygen to survive.
One year ago, I needed money for my father’s surgery, so I agreed to become a surrogate for Luis. But the doctor changed the arrangement and stated Luis had to sleep with me directly due to some health conditions. I wasn’t comfortable with it—not because he wasn’t handsome or rich, but because I never wanted to be bound to a marriage at nineteen. Still, because of my father’s life, I gave in.
When I reached the house, I reached for the door and froze.
It was unlocked.
Was Luis already back? Or has someone broken into our house? Fear creeps into me. I switched on my phone’s flashlight and stepped inside, then slowly reached for the wall and turned on the light.
I frowned my brow in confusion at the scene before me. Luis's T-shirt lay crumpled on the floor, along with his tie and one of his shoes. What was going on?
A sudden noise of two people made me look up, and instantly I noticed the bedroom light was on. I hurried upstairs, and that’s when I saw a pair of red heels.
Wait—that’s not…mine.
I stopped in front of the bedroom door, which was slightly open, and slowly pushed it a little.
The sight that greeted me shattered everything inside me.
Luis was thrusting into a red-haired woman, her body moving under him like a wild, desperate hunger. Her moans mixed with his low growls, filling the hot room. It was clear they had been at it for more than his usual time—five minutes.
I stood frozen, my hands gripping the doorknob so tightly my knuckles ached. I felt my entire body trembling.
He had never sounded like this with me—not once. I had always assumed he was weak; I thought it was because of his health problems but never realized there was something more he could give… and I was watching it happen with someone else.
“Oh my gosh, Luis, you’re hitting the right spot,” she moaned, and he increased his pace.
I covered my mouth with one of my hands, fighting myself not to burst into tears here.
It might sound silly, but I never married Luis for love at first. Still, over time, I had started to care—or maybe it was just a sense of duty, since my father’s life depended on it. I had never once cheated on him.
And yet, right now, he was doing it right in front of me; my heart felt like it was breaking into a thousand pieces.
I kept my eyes on them, pathetic and helpless, as if I was taking notes in a lecture. But why did it hurt this much? The sting wasn’t just physical—it was a sharp, gnawing pain in my chest.
“Oh, baby… harder,” she moaned, and he responded immediately, his movements faster, rougher, driving the bed to shift beneath them with their rhythm.
It's our marital bed, for crying out loud! And he isn’t even wearing a condom. What if she gets pregnant? No… no, if she gets pregnant, I’m doomed. I should stop them, but my legs won’t move. They were frozen, pinned to the floor.
“I like how wet you are, just like old times,” he growled, slamming into her with skill and intensity.
Wait, old times? Chest tightened, this is not even their first time?
Was this really the Luis I knew? The one who never lasted more than five minutes, the one whose calm smile and glasses always gave him that innocent, nerdy vibe—even now, I could see it, those glasses on him.
“I’ve never met anyone like this… I love it,” he added, letting out a low, satisfied hum.
“Stop it! What about your wife? You’ve been married for a year! Are you saying she isn’t good enough?” The woman cried, her voice breaking with each thrust.
I couldn’t believe I was watching this… and feeling something stir inside, making me wish I was the one in her position.
“She’s so dry, like a doll. I don’t even know what my mother saw in her—wanting the heir to come from her,” he hissed, still thrusting.
The woman laughed, loud and careless.
My hands tightened around the doorknob, my skin crawling at his words. A doll… he had never even shared a passionate kiss with me. Every time I told him I was ovulating, he would climb into bed, thrust for barely five minutes, and step out. And yet he said I'm a doll… so Luis just didn't want me to get pregnant.
He flipped her onto her knees, and her laughter echoed through the room. He continued thrusting into her from behind, brutal and relentless, her whimpers filling the space.
This time, the tears I had been holding back finally fell. I could barely breathe, every hope in me shattered. The worst part was I couldn't tell Lady Flores—she would just call me foolish and useless.
“It’s almost 8 p.m. What if your wife comes back and finds out? Won’t she ask for a divorce?” The woman asked, her voice trembling with each thrust.
Luis hissed, “I know she’s still with my mother. Even if she finds out, her life depends on this marriage—she wouldn’t dare ask for a divorce.” He continued thrusting into her without a break.
She laughed and moaned, the sound of skin slapping against skin filling the room.
Everything is over. How could I ever get out of this? Luis was right—even if I caught them, I wouldn’t even be able to ask for a divorce.
“I’m about to cum, baby,” Luis growled.
My heart froze. Cum? Isn’t that supposed to make someone pregnant? I can't let that happen.

Which is why it was more than a little confusing when a letter arrived with my name already printed on a schedule, a dorm waiting, and classes picked out as if someone knew me better than I knew myself. The only person more curious than me is Blake Nyvas, tall, golden-eyed, and very much a Dragon. People whisper that he’s dangerous, warn me to keep my distance. But Blake seems determined to solve the mystery of me, and somehow I trust him more than anyone else.
Maybe it’s reckless. Maybe it’s dangerous.
But when everyone else looks at me like I don’t belong, Blake looks at me like I’m a riddle worth solving.

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.
