Introduction
He was rude to me...
My wolf whimpered in my head, I was speechless, powerless to speak around the massive lump in my throat. Tears came to my eyes and streamed silently down my cheeks.
Nothing had changed.
He didn’t want me.
He still loved my sister... my dead sister
Chapter 1
Pain and guilty
That's all I felt and I will forever feel them for the rest of my life.
I wasn’t happy at all even though today was my birthday. I was turning 16 years old today but no one cared at home. Everyone's mind was on different stuff and everyone was moving up and down.
They were all stressed and had sad gloomy faces. It was all my fault. No one was happy at home all because of me.
I led to her death. My elder sister.
She instead gave me the gift of life and ended up losing hers.
She saved me but she only brought me problems, because everyone at home now hated me. I was the main reason why she died and they will never forgive me.
To them I am like a curse.
Nothing is good on my side ever since I was born. Despite the fact that I am the daughter of the beta, still I am treated as an omega. It was only me who was treated like an omega. Before my sister dying, she was the most loved.
She had friends and my parents loved her most.
Through out my whole life , I only had one hope.
Every night, I prayed and waited the day I shifted for the first time and met my Wolf!
Finally, I would have someone else to call my own. Yes, a Wolf wasn’t a skin companion, but she would be mine, and she would love me. When my sister turned 16, my parents celebrated her birthday and a lot of guests came to support her.
I thought things would be the same for me but the moon goddess had other plans for me. No one was happy at home and yet this was day I was turning 16 just like my sister. Everything that was meant to be prepared for my birthday was now used for the burial ceremony.
My heart broke at the thought of it.
My sister died because of me. Everything started in the woods when I was walking with her and we came face to face with the rogue. As the rogue was trying to kill me, she shifted in her werewolf form to rescue me but she didn't know that she had messed up with a wrong person.
The rogue killed my sister in front of me.
The image of her made me cry again. I swiped away the tears that fell down my cheeks but I couldn't bear up with it. I felt guilty so badly. Everything in the house was getting changed, sad slow music was the one booming in the house.
The maids were preparing burial flowers with my sister's pictures on everything. The rogue killed her in the evening but our Alpha ordered the mortuary attendants to work on her body quickly and she gets buried today.... on my birthday.
My parents were not the only ones who were hurt by her death but Alpha Bane was also deeply hurt. My sister Aurora was loved by everyone in the pack. Her beauty was the main reason and that was why the Alpha was hurt. She wasn't his mate but he was planning to make her the luna.
Of course our father as the beta didn't even refuse the Alpha’s suggestion. He wanted Aurora to be the luna and rule but sadly the moon goddess had other plans for her.
To be honest I wasn't happy with the fact that our father accepted her to be luna and yet she wasn’t the mate of the Alpha. It's the moon goddess to choose and my worry was what will happen if their true mates came.
No elder in the pack brought up that idea of the moon goddess. They all loved my sister and I was treated as an omega, disliked at home and bullied at school.
I beared up with everything and watched as my sister bragged and I was waiting for that day she was going to be announced as the luna of our pack. No one knew her true intentions except me but I kept quiet. She had different goals and her rude character was the reason as to why the rogue killed her and left me.
She used to tell me what she wanted, what she was after but I couldn't tell anyone not even our mother. Our parents didn't like me and currently I was worried that I am going to shift without anyone's assistance. Both my parents , elders and the Alpha were in the meeting. No one even remembered that today was my birthday.
As I was still lost in my own thoughts, my stomach rumbled with a familiar pain, hunger. Rationed with just enough food to survive, I felt it every day but I didn't have appetite. My belly growled its discontent and I slowly made it to the refrigerator.
Opening the refrigerator door, I grabbed my allotted meal and gobbled it down. Throughout the whole moment, maids were smiling sadly at me as they went on with the burial preparations.
I tried to eat but at the end I failed to finish the meal. My shoulders slumped as I stood up from the table and made my way to the nearby bathroom in the house.
I didn’t feel well...
...which was normal, but it was worse today.
All my thoughts were about my first shifting. All the parents assist their children during their first shifting but mine weren't minding about me. My only prayer was that my parents or any person helps me.
Hopefully, during the funeral reception, someone or my family will be willing to step aside with me for a 20-30 minutes just to get me through it.
Assisting me through the first shift was all i needed..
I inwardly knew it that my parents didn't like me just like they liked my dead sister but for once I needed their help. I wanted them to remember my birthday and be with me for once.

His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
