‘Evelyn’s POV:
“Fuck I’m so late”
it was 10 in the morning and I was still home, I had important visitors to meet at my hotel that morning. One of the biggest businessmen in London was visiting Los Angeles with some of his friends and they were going to stay at my hotel. I had to be there to welcome them myself.
“ I know you’re my boss but seriously Evelyn we gotta work on the time girl”
My friend and personal assistant, Chloe said while she stared at me, mockingly.
“ let’s just go” I replied, without trying to defend myself.
We got into the car. The driver was already waiting.
We got to the hotel and fortunately for me, My guests were yet to arrive.
“I heard from a little bird that Mr. Elliot is a big business tycoon with lots of illegal business”
I turned around and looked at Chloe out of shock
“ Illegal business? how do you know that?”
“ I told you a little bird told me”
“ well a bird once told me I’ll be married at the age of 24. How did that go? So birds lie and this bitch right here can handle anything”.
my guest arrived, he had about 5 men with him and they needed the penthouse at my hotel. I took him and his friends to the penthouse upstairs and instructed my workers to serve them excellently.
I got back into my car, Chloe stayed at mine for a few weeks so we were together in the car going back to my house.
When we got back to the house, we got out of the car. And there he was standing in front of his door like he was waiting for someone. My hot, sexy neighbor. He had just moved into the apartment next to mine a few weeks ago.
“ girl I lied when I said I moved in with you because thieves broke into my home, the truth is I moved in with you so I could get a glimpse of this sugar every day, bitch he is fire, I would sit on my face if he asks me too, oh lord”

“ come on girl this ain't the first time I did lie to you, you know that don't you?”

She immediately turned her face and we both laughed out loud.
Walt walked towards us with a box and a card in his hands.
“Girl he is walking towards us, shit I should’ve worn my blonde wig”
Chloe was cracking me up. I had to laugh out loud again and I’m sure it made Walt feel awkward.
“Bitch, shut the fuck up” I turned to Chloe and said while still laughing.
“I’m sorry am I interrupting something?”
Walt asked innocently with a big smile on his face. He was not innocent, he had bad-boy looks. And I immediately fell for his tattoos. Tattoos have always been my thing and his made him even hotter.
“Oh, no tattoos you are not”
Chloe held his hands and replied, I bent my head out of Shame, she was driving me crazy.
“I'm sorry, tattoos?”
“Don't pay attention to her Walt, what was it you wanted to say?”
“Well, I will be having a little party at my apartment today and it would be a big honor if you both could attend if you’re not too busy of course”
“ I will just quickly check and see my schedule. What is it you are celebrating again?”
“There’s nothing on the schedule boss, we are completely free today”
“ oh, are we? Wow, would you look at that I never expected us to be free on a Monday”
I looked at Chloe with a big fake smile she knew what I was trying to do but I was not even surprised.
“Oh, that's great so I should be expecting you both right?”
He looked so good with his smiley face and puffy eyes.
“We would be there Walt what time is it again?”
He gave me the card and the box he was holding and walked away with a big smile.
I got into the house, opened the box, and was surprised to see a vintage wristwatch, which roughly must have cost millions.
I was surprised as to why he gave me such an expensive gift but I didn't let it bother me.
“ Chloe you know I hate social groundings what would I say when people ask who am I?”
“ OK I doubt that anyone in Los Angeles doesn’t know you but if anyone asks, Then you are Evelyn Reynolds, You are the owner of Neil Diamond Hotels one of the biggest hotels in Los Angeles”
“And that's on period,”
I said and screamed at the top of my voice, I was proud of myself and Chloe was my biggest supporter and fan.
She brought out a dress for me to wear, it was written on the card Walt gave me that we should all dress in black.
“ there’s no way I’m going to wear that, that’s literally a net”
“ Yes and maybe you can catch a man, a dick with this net hopefully, come on Evelyn don’t try to play dumb with me you and I both know that Walt is so into you, fuck didn’t you see how his eyes were on you the whole time? He stared into your soul girl”
“No, I didn’t notice “
I didn’t notice because I tried to avoid eye contact with him.
“Girl it’s a one-night party thing, come on have some fun how long has it been? Let the Pussy have some dick tonight girl and that hot neighbor of yours is the perfect person for you tonight, so you better snog him, and hey what's the worse that could happen”
Chloe smiled and walked away.
And she was right it was only a one-night party thing what's the worst that could happen?
I wore the dress Chloe picked out for me I walked up to her, looked at her, and said
“Let's go get some, bitch”.
