Introduction
Without thinking, I leaned forward and kissed him.
The kiss was soft and gentle at first like we were both checking how it felt. But soon enough, it turned hungry and everything became a blur as I was lost in this kiss.
…

A broken heart here, hot trips there…
Will Andy be able to fight the undeniable attraction she feels for someone she shouldn't or will she cave and do the right thing?
Chapter 1
"I love you so much Andy" he said and my eyes lit up with joy as my heart throbbed.
He said it every time but I could never get used to it.
I stood on my tip toes and planted a kiss on his lips.
"I love you too" I said and Peter smiled widely at me, his hands hanging loosely around my waist.
Our lips met again and just when the tension was beginning to rise, the loud ring of his phone sliced through the air and I groaned as I buried my face in his shirt.
Not again.
"Seriously though, who keeps calling you?! It's literally seven pm and you're supposed to be off work" I said, suddenly growing annoyed. I barely got to spend time with him because he was mostly occupied with work but he was supposed to be off work today and still, they have been calling him to no end.
We spent the entire day together. We ate breakfast out, went to the movies, went for ice cream and so many other things. And his phone constantly rang throughout. Now, we were at his house and the same is happening.
I stared at the culprit on the bed. The device that just wouldn't stop ringing and I groaned again.
"Just pick the call" I said and he sighed dramatically, just as the call ended.
"Just let it be. There's no reason to pick it up. I don't care if it's an emergency at work. It's my day off and there are other employees. Plus, I'm spending time with you" he said, a smile slowly making its way to his lips as he slowly led us to the bed.
Peter was the sweetest person I knew, and the way he claimed me and wanted to spend time with me always did things to me.
Not every boyfriend would do this.
He gently lowered me to the bed and placed a quick kiss on my forehead.
"I'll be right back" he said before disappearing into his bathroom, closing the door behind him.
I leaned backwards and allowed my back to hit the bed as a sigh slid past my lips.
It had been a long day and I was so tired. Just as a yawn slipped out of me, his phone began to ring again and I groaned in frustration.
I rolled my eyes and turned to pick up the phone.
My eyes widened in surprise as I stared at the screen. The caller on the screen was my best friend, Rosalie, but it was saved as 'Rose' with a red rose right after.
Confusion washed over me but I picked up anyway.
She spoke immediately.
"Baby, I've been calling you all day. Are you still with that slut?" She asked and my mouth fell open in shock.
"Baby? Are you there?" She asked and I wrapped my palm over my mouth as tears pricked my eyes. My feet grew cold as it dawned on me.
"Peter! Stop playing pranks. I'm so mad at you right now" she said and I threw the phone to the bed like it was hot coal.
I stifled a sob as I turned towards the bathroom door and contemplated whether to confront him now or not.
No. I couldn't stay there any longer. I quickly packed up my things and made my way out.
Just as I got to the door, I heard him step out of the bathroom.
"Andy?" He called out but I ignored it and hurriedly threw his door open and basically ran out of the apartment building. My legs did their own thing as I heard him run after me and call my name.
I finally stepped out of the building. Cold air hit me like a storm, cooling my face from the tears that streamed down it. It was drizzling.
I took a moment to take a deep breath as I clutched my purse with all my strength.
Just as I was about to take a step out onto the busy road, I was pulled back, flush against Peter's chest.
I quickly pushed myself off him.
"Andy, what the hell are you doing?!" He asked and I wiped frantically at the tears on my face.
"Why don't you ask Rosalie?" I bit back and he froze as realization dawned on him and his face hardened.
"Did you go through my phone?" He asked, his tone angry.
"No! I trusted you too much to do that. However, I did pick your call" I said and he frowned even deeper.
"How dare you?!" He asked and I scoffed in disbelief.
"How dare- You've gotta be kidding me. Are you listening to yourself? What did I even do wrong? I picked my supposed best friend's call on YOUR phone and you're blaming me?!" I said, anger seeping into my tone.
"What did she say?" He asked and my face hardened.
"Why don't you go ask your girlfriend?!" I said and he clenched his jaw.
"Andy, come on. This is just a misunderstanding" he said and I scoffed again.
"I don't know what you think I am. But in case you were confused, I am not dumb. We're done, Peter" I said.
"Well, it's drizzling and you can't just walk under the rain. Come inside and wait it out or let me call you a cab" he said. His nonchalance about the whole situation cut so deep, I thought I might die. I scoffed in response and without waiting for him to say anything, I stormed off and ignored his calls after me.
The light shower of rain soothed my skin like a ray of sunshine in winter. I let it patter down my body as I walked on the side of the road. It didn't feel real. It didn't feel like everything that had just happened, happened.
Tears streamed down my face. Again.
It blurred my vision and I kept trying to blink past it.
By now, I was getting close to my apartment but I knew I had to pass the alley that every student dreaded. It was dark and shady. I should have just ordered that cab.
I took a deep breath, readying myself to just run through it. I stopped right in front of it, took another deep breath and started to run through it. I didn't look at anyone or answer any whistles. My mission was at the end of it.
I was so close, so fucking close, when someone suddenly stepped in front of me and I bumped straight into them. I hit them with a thud and bounced off them to the floor. I winced at the contact before slowly standing up and came eye to eye with the person.
The man, to be specific.
My breath caught in my throat as I stared at the scary looking person in front of me.
I turned around, thinking of running back out, when I realized I was surrounded.
Shit.
The sound of my racing heart almost blocked out every other sound.
The man in front of me grabbed my arm and a scream slid past my mouth as I wriggled against him.
Someone from behind me slapped my ass and I shrieked.
Tears started falling down my cheeks for a whole different reason as I begged them.
"Please, don't - please" I begged, but they outrightly ignored me.
"She's a hot piece of something" one of them said and I begged even more.
I wasn't sure of who anymore but hands were all over my body. They pushed me to the floor
and I tried my best to fight them off as I screamed for help but nobody came.
Just as I was beginning to give up, someone's voice suddenly boomed through the alley.
"Let her go" the voice said and it was loud enough to get them to turn around and I would have made a run for it, if not because someone's hand was still holding me down strongly.
"Get lost, old man" someone replied and they all laughed, before turning their attention to me again.
"No, no. Please, help me" I begged whoever it was, but no answer.
Sobs racked through me as I held my clothes tightly around my body.
"What the -" one of them suddenly said as he tried to turn around but he shouted as he was thrown to the side, his body landing on the floor with a thud.
This definitely caught their attention as they all turned around, save for that one person that held me down.
Whoever it was had to be super strong because he kept beating them up and I took the opportunity and tried to escape. I bit down on the hand that was holding me.
Hard.
And the man groaned in pain.
"You cunt" he said before slapping me. Hard.
So, that didn't work.
I felt his hand tremble on me as whoever kept fighting off those people walked towards him.
"Let her go" he said and the man stubbornly obliged and raised his two hands up as he stood up and tried to walk away but this man was not having it.
He grabbed him and landed a single punch on his face. The sickening crack of his jaw snapped me back to reality.
I scampered backwards.
Yes, he saved me but I still couldn't trust him.
"It's okay" he said and he stretched his hand out to me. I shakily took it as he helped me to my feet.
"Thanks" I said, softly and he nodded.
It was dark, I couldn't see his face but he towered over me completely.
He removed his jacket and placed it over my shoulders.
"Come on, let's get out of here" he said and I nodded as I hurriedly followed him.
Once we got to the exit, I breathed a sigh of relief.
"Thank you. I can take it from here" I said and I turned to him.
My breath caught in my throat and I froze.
