Chapter 1
"Cordelia! You're signing this agreement today, or I'll beat you to death!"
"Ungrateful wretch! Disloyal daughter! You dare pretend to faint? Someone! Throw cold water on her and wake her up!"
"Mom, Dad, please don't be angry with Cordelia. She's just confused right now!"
So loud!
Cordelia Sforza's brow furrowed in pain, her head pounding.
Wasn't she already dead? Why couldn't she find peace even in death?
Resentment surged from the depths of Cordelia's heart. She snapped her eyes open—only to find herself staring at the faces of her adoptive parents, Preston Sforza and Gemma Young.
She stared at them in a daze, then glanced at Yvaine Sforza standing nearby with her fake concern. In an instant, memories came flooding back.
She... she'd been reborn?
Reborn to the year when Preston and Gemma used their so-called "debt of raising her" to force her into signing that "Lifetime Support Agreement"!
She had been the Sforza family's precious daughter—until an accident revealed she wasn't Preston and Gemma's biological child at all. She was the fake heiress, switched at birth!
And the real heiress? Yvaine, standing right in front of her.
The revelation of the switched daughters had torn the Sforza family apart. The more Preston and Gemma cherished Yvaine, the more they despised Cordelia.
They'd forced Cordelia to sign that "Lifetime Support Agreement". For decades afterward, Cordelia had used her resources, connections, and money to pave the way for the Sforza family and Yvaine—until they'd drained every last bit of value from her. She'd died alone in a hospital bed, sick and abandoned.
"Cordelia, are you okay? You don't look well." Yvaine approached, her face the picture of concern—but her eyes gleamed with unmistakable malice.
Cordelia lifted her head to look at her.
In her previous life, she'd felt indebted to Preston and Gemma for raising her. She'd thought she'd stolen Yvaine's rightful place. Fooled by Yvaine's gentle, harmless facade, she'd catered to them all, giving them everything they demanded.
She never imagined they were all heartless wolves!
Especially Yvaine!
She was a master of emotional blackmail and manipulation, keeping Cordelia drowning in guilt for decades—squeezing out all her value. In the end, Yvaine had even transferred Cordelia's last hundred thousand dollars and left her to die untreated in that hospital!
Remembering her past life, Cordelia's teeth ground together. She wanted nothing more than to strangle this bitch with her bare hands!
"Dad, Mom, why is Cordelia looking at me like that?" Yvaine's lip trembled. She ran into Gemma's arms, crying. "Doesn't she want to support me? Should I not have come back? But I just missed you both so much."
"Nonsense! You're our child, part of the Sforza family. Where else would you go?" Gemma held Yvaine close, her face full of sympathy. Her gaze toward Cordelia grew even harsher. "Cordelia, if you have even a shred of conscience, sign that agreement now!"
The moment Gemma finished speaking, Preston jumped in, his tone even more severe. "The Sforza family raised you for twenty-three years—fed you, clothed you—while our real daughter suffered out there, alone and struggling. You owe Yvaine this!"
Cordelia's heart clenched.
Even knowing they didn't love her, even knowing they favored Yvaine unconditionally, she couldn't help the pain.
No! She couldn't fall into this trap again. If she did, this second chance would be wasted—she'd just become their cash cowall over again.
Cordelia warned herself silently.
She lowered her eyes to hide her emotions. When she looked up again, her gaze was clear and resolute. "What happened back then wasn't my fault. I was just a baby. As for the Sforza family's so-called debt—I'll pay back every cent I've cost you over the years. After that, we're even."
"Absolutely not!" Gemma's voice rang out sharply. "You will support the Sforza family and Yvaine for the rest of your life! From now on, the money you earn, your resources, your connections—everything goes to Yvaine unconditionally!"
Hearing this demand—a thousand, ten thousand times worse than what they'd said in her previous life—Cordelia felt nothing but disgust.
In her past life, she hadn't resisted much before signing. So all she'd heard were noble-sounding phrases like "sisters supporting each other."
Now she saw the truth. They'd had their eyes on her all along. She's just the family's cash cow and scapegoat.
"Never!" Cordelia bit out each word. "Don't even think about it!"
Seeing Cordelia's unyielding stance, Preston and Gemma exploded with rage, hurling insults by the bucketful.
Yvaine, playing the fragile victim in Gemma's arms, frowned ever so slightly. Her gaze toward Cordelia sharpened with scrutiny.
What's wrong with this bitch?
In the last life, hadn't she signed after just a little coaxing? Why is she fighting back so hard this time?
Where did things go wrong?
Yvaine lowered her head, thinking. After a moment, she looked up again, her expression as fragile as ever.
"Cordelia, please don't be angry. And don't upset Mom and Dad." Yvaine walked over to Cordelia, her voice gentle and coaxing. "I know you don't like me. You're afraid I'll steal Mom and Dad's love."
"But please believe me—I would never do that. I want us to be sisters forever."
She bent down and picked up the agreement that had been thrown to the floor. "Mom and Dad just want us to support each other. That's why they made this agreement."
"Don't worry. When I have the means, I'll do everything I can to help you too."
Watching Yvaine's sickening performance, Cordelia felt bile rise in her throat.
Memories of her past life flooded back. She couldn't hold it in anymore.
She raised her hand and slapped Yvaine across the face.
The sharp crack echoed through the living room. The atmosphere plunged to freezing.
Yvaine clutched her cheek, staring at Cordelia in shock. "You dare hit me?"
Preston and Gemma rushed over, stunned and furious. Preston shoved Cordelia hard, raising his hand to slap her in return.
Cordelia stumbled backward but recovered quickly. She caught Preston's wrist mid-swing.
"Dad... No, Mr. Sforza!" Cordelia met his eyes, her gaze clear and her tone unyielding. "I'll repay the cost of raising me for twenty-three years. Everything else? Not happening!"
Seeing Cordelia's iron resolve, Preston actually hesitated.
This daughter had always been obedient and compliant, never refusing them anything. What had gotten into her today?
His confusion mirrored Yvaine's.
In the last life, Cordelia had treated her better than a real sister—letting Yvaine drain her dry without a single complaint.
What changed?
Not only was she resisting fiercely now—she'd actually slapped her. What went wrong?

Pregnant by My Husband's Rival Alpha
Those words should have destroyed me, but the truth was worse: I'd been used as a broodmare by the man who swore to love me, set up in a hotel room with a stranger because My husband Alexander Cross couldn't father children himself, and now I carried the secret babies of Damon Lester—the most powerful and dangerous Alpha in San Loris—while my own family replaced me with the daughter they'd always wanted. But when that same stranger's doctor appeared at my door, when twenty million dollars exchanged hands over a fake perfume bearing my secret identity, and when Damon's gray eyes locked onto mine with recognition I couldn't afford, I realized my carefully hidden life as the legendary perfumer Vera was colliding with a pregnancy that could cost me everything.
Could I protect my babies from the husband plotting my death, hide my true identity from the Alpha who's been hunting me for years, and reclaim the freedom I'd buried along with my dreams—even if it means standing alone against the wolves who see me as nothing more than a womb to be used and discarded?
