Revenge Was His Game. Losing Me Was His Punishment.

Introduction
His plan: build her up, then tear her down. Give her my VP title, a sports car, a condo—so the fall would hurt more. "Be patient, babe. It's all part of the game."
So I was patient. Even when Tallulah whispered that my five-year-old sister, Marnie, was secretly my illegitimate kid, and Jasper stopped asking about Marnie's heart.
Then Marnie needed surgery. Jasper promised me the money. I waited at the hospital from dawn till dark, and it never came. When I finally called him, Tallulah answered.
"An advance? So you can grab the cash and skip town? Find a better sob story."
Marnie died waiting.
That night, Jasper called. "Push the surgery back two more days. Then Tallulah loses everything, and we'll throw a huge wedding. Marnie can be our flower girl!"
He doesn't know she's gone.
In two days, I will be too.
Chapter 1
ELARA
My boyfriend, Jasper Lennox, swore he'd make Tallulah Rowley pay for humiliating me.
"You're saying yes? Elara, that's amazing! You can start in two days!"
Fiona, the London firm's HR director, could barely contain herself. They'd courted me for five years, each offer bigger than the last.
"Yes," I said. In the hospital morgue, my voice echoed.
I took one last look at Marnie's small, gray-blue face and signed the forms. The funeral home needed two thousand dollars up front for the cremation.
Marnie's bills had drained my savings. My whole life had revolved around Jasper, and since my demotion, even my coworkers avoided me. There was no one left to ask.
I looked at my bracelet—a delicate gold chain with a single diamond. Jasper bought it with five months' wages the night he first said I love you, back when that was all he had. "You're priceless to me," he'd whispered, fastening the clasp.
When Marnie first got sick, a jeweler offered five grand. It wouldn't even make a dent in a hundred-grand surgery, so I kept it.
Now it felt like a sign. I listed it for two thousand—cheap enough to sell fast. A buyer messaged within the hour.
Rushing out to meet the buyer, I was knocked flat by bodyguards storming the ER.
Behind them, Jasper wheeled Tallulah in, doctors swarming. His face was tight with worry. His eyes met mine—and slid away.
"Must be nice," a nurse muttered as she helped me up. "Three doctors for the CEO's girlfriend's sprained ankle, but billing won't even clear a kid's heart surgery. What a joke."
Minutes later, Jasper came back and steered me down to the garage.
Alone in his car, his jaw tightened. "Are you following me now?" he snapped. "Is that where we're at? You don't trust me, so you stalk me for a check?"
He pinched the bridge of his nose, exhaling sharply. "Tallulah twisted her ankle. Look, I'll wire you the money—just leave before she sees you."
He called her a drama queen, but his eyes were soft with indulgence.
He used to fuss over me like that—once spending a whole day making me soup for a stomachache and burning his hands raw.
My phone chimed. Payment received: $500.00 from Jasper Lennox.
"Tallulah checks my accounts," he said with a smile. "If I send more, she'll be upset. Get Marnie something nice, okay?"
I was his girlfriend, and I was the one sneaking around.
I laughed without humor and sent the money back.
Reaching for the door, he sensed something was off and patted my hand. "I know this is hard. But she has to have everything before losing it can hurt. That's how I get justice for you."
But I was the one who'd lost everything.
Two years ago, Tallulah Rowley arrived as the CEO's new executive assistant, announcing she was here to fix the company's toxic culture. She needed an example. She picked the vice president. Me.
Asked to print a document, she said she'd been hired for real work, not errands. When I asked my assistant for coffee, Tallulah threw the cup in my face in front of everyone and told me to get my own.
Then she sat on a ten-million-dollar contract I'd spent a month landing, claiming I might be siphoning company assets. The client walked straight to a competitor.
That was when Jasper locked in his endgame. It was a sick but simple strategy: put her on a pedestal just to kick the legs out from under it. Let her soar, then cut the strings.
At first, he'd wink at me whenever he praised her in public, and I'd play the beaten-down ex-favorite to feed her ego.
But the act got more real every day. His admiration for her was genuine. His coldness toward me wasn't acting.
She wouldn’t let it rest, constantly whispering poison into his ear. "Look at the girl. Are you sure that’s her sister? She’s young enough to be a daughter, and honestly—who knows who the father really is? Just don't end up raising another man's mistake, Jasper."
Jasper went from scoffing, to silence, to treating Marnie like a stranger. By the end, I had to beg before he'd even ask how she was.
A year ago, I lost my VP title.
A week ago, Marnie's heart started failing. The surgery was routine—nearly a hundred percent success rate. She died because her useless big sister couldn't scrape the money together.
And the man beside me had stopped loving me long ago.
"Jasper, I think we should—"
His phone rang before I could say break up. He stepped out, turning his back.
He used to take every call in front of me, even on speaker. Now he leaned against the door, toying with his cuff, smiling to himself.
Suddenly his voice rose. "Your ankle's hurt—don't come looking for me!"
Too late. Tallulah came limping in, and Jasper rushed to steady her.
She spotted me in the passenger seat, smirked, and yanked me out of the car.
"Who said you could sit in Jasper's car? Begging again? Bleeding your ex dry—have you no shame?"
Staking her claim, she snatched his phone from his pocket. One glance at the transfer, and she smashed it to the ground.
"I do everything for you, and you still can't let her go? Forget the doctor. I hope my leg is broken!"
She stormed off. Jasper, whose word was law at the office, followed without a word.
Two steps later, he turned back and swung my hand a little. "Just two more days, Elara. I'll make it up to you, I swear."
His favorite move—boyish, pleading. It used to melt me. Now it made my skin crawl.
Then he was gone.
I stood there, wiping the back of my hand on my shirt, over and over.
Two days, Jasper. In two days, I'm gone.
And I don't want you anymore.

He reached for the back of my head and pulled me up just enough to reach my neck. When his fangs slid into me, the pain was instant, electric. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t think. My hands found his shoulders, clawing for something to hold. My legs kicked. Tears streamed down my cheeks.
He moaned against my throat as he drank, and the sound was devastating.
Fated to the Enemy: The Alpha's Witch Bride
My touch tames his inner beast.
… Until I find another woman’s bite mark on his neck.
As a holy witch, I shouldn't be sneaking out for Zuri—a cursed shape-shifter from a rival clan.
But our forbidden heat is intoxicating.
When his monstrous Primal breaks free, slaughtering everything in its path, even his fiercest warriors cower.
I don't.
I walk straight to the blood-soaked beast, press my body against his, and tame him with a single, desperate embrace.
There’s just one problem: his clan betrothed him to a Shaman’s daughter.
I tell myself it's purely political. I tell myself his heart is mine.
Until tonight.
He sneaks into the woods for me. We share a deep, hungry kiss under the moonlight.
But as I pull back, my blood runs cold.
Right there, on the neck of the man I just risked my soul to save...
Is a fresh, undeniable bite mark.
Tango 2 the Alpha's Heart
My gaze snapped to his. He was smiling, causing my heart to skip a painful beat. Before I could respond, the music began, and my body instinctively reacted to the sweet melody.
I found myself molded to Lex's will, my feet irresistibly following the dance steps.
The crowd gasped as Lex pulled me into a more intimate position, his hands roaming over my body in a seductive manner.
The experience was both terrifying and magical, allowing me to feel every longing emotion through the dance.
I soon found myself lost in his arms.
When the music finally stopped, my arms were wrapped around his neck, his hands resting on my back, our noses almost touching. He gazed deeply into my eyes.
The ballroom fell silent.
Was he about to kiss me?

But things are about to drastically change for her...

Mated To My Nemesis
Agnes Tremaine arrived in Melbourne with a camera but no backstory in this world. She was meant to document one season. She never realized she was already the blueprint — that the connections, the open doors, and the meticulous arrangements were all built specifically for her, tailored and designed to use her.
Ace had a nine-year revenge in the making. A journalist had destroyed his sister's life and left no fingerprints. Now the man's daughter was standing in his garage with a camera, and Ace had been the one to open the door.
His wolf chooses a mate he never wanted and couldn't shake — not in the paddock, not on the track, not even at 200mph where nothing else had ever followed him before.
For the first time in his life, he couldn't have it all.
Letters to a Dark Prince
Thrown into Isteros Academy—a world of old money, blood money, and cruel social games—she's an outsider by birth and an afterthought by design. Her sister Solyn is the school's untouchable queen and Mara is her favorite target.
Everyone expects Atreus to treat his fiancée’s scholarship sister like everyone else does—as if she doesn’t matter.
Instead, his dorm room sits directly across from hers, close enough that she can see his light go out at night. Some nights, he climbs the old maintenance trellis just to check on her. He teaches her chess. He shows up exactly when something's gone wrong—and never once asks to be thanked for it.
"Don't fall in love with one piece," he warns her, over a board neither of them treats like a game anymore. "It punishes the person who only sees half of it."
Mara doesn't understand why the boy who's supposed to make her life harder keeps quietly making it easier—not until she realizes the anonymous stranger she's been writing to every week already has a name.
His.
He doesn't know he's writing to her, either.
By the time they find out, it's too late to stop what's already happening. Far too dangerous for anyone to find out.
In an empty studio, in the middle of a rainstorm, she asks him: 'Am I the kind of girl who kisses a boy engaged to my sister?'
He doesn't answer.
So she asks: 'What are we?’
He told her not to fall in love with one piece.
She fell anyway.
And he was never far behind.
BROKEN TRUST
Neither of them knew she was carrying his child.
Emily’s affair didn’t just end her marriage—it erased the life she thought was guaranteed. Ryan left without looking back, carrying his anger like armor and leaving Emily alone with regret she would never outrun. Three years later, fate drags them back into each other’s world, along with a little girl who has Ryan’s eyes and a truth that shatters everything he thought he knew.
Old wounds reopen, grief masquerades as rage, and love refuses to stay buried. As parenthood binds them together and the past demands accountability, Emily and Ryan must face the question neither of them is ready to answer: is broken trust the end of their story… or the beginning of a love forged through loss, forgiveness, and brutal honesty?
The CEO Above My Desk
“I know she does.”
“And what if she doesn’t want this kind of protection?”
“She will,” I say, my voice lowering slightly. “Because she needs a man who can give her the world.”
“And if the world burns?”
My hand tightens subtly at Violet’s waist.
“Then I’ll build her a new one,” I reply. “Even if I have to burn the old one down myself.”
I don’t work for Rowan Ashcroft.
I work beneath him.
From my desk, I decide who gets access to the most ruthless CEO in the city, and who never makes it past the lobby. I manage his time, his silence, his enemies. I keep his world running while my own quietly collapses under unpaid bills, a mother locked in rehab, and a brother who vanished without a goodbye.
Rowan Ashcroft is power wrapped in a tailored suit.
Cold. Untouchable. Merciless.
He doesn’t flirt. He doesn’t smile. He doesn’t see people, only usefulness.
And for a long time, I was just useful.
Until he started watching.
A shift in his attention is subtle at first. A pause too long. A look that lingers. Orders that pull me closer instead of pushing me away. The man who stands above my desk begins to control more than my schedule, and I realize too late that being noticed by Rowan Ashcroft is far more dangerous than being ignored.
Because men like him don’t crave affection.
They crave possession.
This was supposed to be a job.
Not a test of my limits.
Not a slow, deliberate descent into his authority.
But if Rowan Ashcroft decides I belong under his desk, then so be it.
Survival has a price, and the bills don’t care how I pay them.

Love's Deadly Equation
I was sent to her.
To watch her. To protect her. And, when the order comes… to kill her.
My name is Keegan Caffery. I’m the Carter Mafia’s best hitman. I don’t miss. I don’t fail.
At least, I didn’t use to.
I don’t know what it is about her that got to me first—her mouth, her mind, or the way she looks at me like I’m not what she should fear.
I’ve had a gun to her head since I walked into her life.
She knows it.
And she still doesn’t run.
She just watches me back like she’s studying a problem she refuses to call impossible.
She’s the one variable I can’t control.
And God help me… I don’t want to.
I have an order. I have loyalty. I have a trigger.
But every time I imagine it—
I can’t stand it.
Her or me. That’s the math.
It’s a deadly equation I don’t want to solve.
⬥ Maisie ⬥
I’m not ordinary. I stopped pretending long ago.
My name is Maisie Seo. IQ 145. Clinical genius.
Which sounds impressive until you realize what it actually means: I don’t fit anywhere people expect me to.
I see patterns everywhere. Outcomes before they happen. People like equations I’ve already solved.
It gets lonely in a world you’ve already figured out.
So I dull myself down. Smoke the edges off. Pretend, badly, to be the kind of normal that lets people stay.
Then he walked in.
I knew what he was immediately. Dangerous. Intentional. Wrong in all the right ways.
I should be afraid of him.
I keep waiting for that to kick in.
Instead, I’m fascinated.
Because for the first time in my life… I’ve found something I can’t solve.
He is my deadly equation.
