Introduction
To me, Hailey, rejection is no big deal. I’ve suffered rejection and indifference since infancy. My own father, rejected me at the mere sight of my weak form. Nobody knows why my mom also abandoned me right after birth. This explains why I worked as a maid in my own pack and as a concubine of Alpha Darren, the most cruel and wicked Alpha to ever exist.
After my few stay with the Blood Moon pack, I understood the saying “the devil you know is better than the Angel you don’t know”. If I knew how my life will be at Moon pack, I’d have cherished my every moment at Claw pack.
My life became a living hell when the goddess revealed that I’m Alpha Darren’s chosen mate. With all these pain I’m going through, I really wish someone will come save me! Join me on this journey as each chapter of my life will leave you wanting to know more…
Chapter 1
It was a really sad day for me already as I encountered the biggest embarrassment of my life. I had gone to the woods to collect some vegetables for the kitchen. I had a weird sensation all throughout my wander.
Upon my return,I perceived the smell of someone familiar even from outside. As I took a few steps from the entrance, I saw a crowd in front of the throne room.I just ignored it because I knew my presence wasn’t needed. The more I tried to look away and ignore, the more intensified the smell became.
"Oh my goodness, what the heck is wrong with me?" I could hear myself screaming out because I was fed up with the energy that was building up inside me.
Suddenly… all I heard was,"Your mate is here." I immediately turned my eyes sideways to meet the biggest shock of my life.
There stood a hot, tall, handsome man,the kind no girl could resist. He was the perfect kind anyone could die to have.
My eyes and his interlocked and I could feel nothing but hatred in his eyes. He was the perfect kind anyone could die to have.
"Mate…" We howled at the same time. Obviously, he was disgusted by that. Well, you could see by all the faces gathered that they were not happy with this. It seemed they were not all ready to welcome me, a slave and concubine, as the long-awaited mate of Alpha Darren.
With fury, he declared. " I, Darren, reject Hailey as my mate!” After this, he moved up to me, “Hey, you ugly silly girl, how dare you show up your face at this crucial moment?” I couldn’t even bring myself to reply to him when I felt a sharp pain across my face. Alpha Darren slapped me. At this point, I couldn’t stand on my feet anymore. I resorted to lying down on the sun-baked floor.
The crowd couldn’t help but burst into laughter. He kept heaping vile words on me. I tried apologizing to him, even by making hand gestures, but he seemed not to care and was only interested in humiliating me.
“I’d rather disobey the moon goddess than choose you as my mate!!”, he declared.
After this statement, my centuries of torture seemed to have come to an end. He angrily turned and took his leave.
“I’m glad he rejected her, we still stand a chance to be the Alpha’s mate”. I could hear the young ladies joyfully whispering among themselves as they shook their flat buttocks while leaving. One thing was for sure, I didn’t feel any sort of pain at his declaration, and I could tell he also didn’t experience any. “Thank goodness we’re not fated mates”, I whispered underneath my breath.
After several minutes of lying down in the scorching sun, I stood up and headed out. With tears helplessly running down my cheeks, I found myself in the forest. I didn’t mind how quiet and scary it looked and continued to shed tears. I cried my heart out when I finally sat under the big ‘Onyina’ tree.
Not long after I sat down, a young gentleman tapped my shoulder. With the sweetest smile, he asked, “My lady, who has caused this beautiful soul of yours to be this sad?”
My heart jumped with joy as that was the first time someone ever asked me the reason behind my actions! I didn’t think twice about it when I started narrating all about myself to him.
There was a special pack called The Claw Pack, it was ruled by Alpha William. What made this pack special was not that Luna had fled after giving birth but the fact that she had given birth to an Omega, the weakest type of werewolf, and this led the Alpha to believe that the child wasn't his. The child grew up like a slave in her pack and was made to live amongst the maids of the palace. This child was me, Hailey, and I'm about to tell you my story of how I went from a weak omega to the concubine of the strongest alpha that ever existed and finally to the mate of a Lycan, the strongest of all werewolves.
The maids continued to gossip amongst themselves as I did their job for them.I scrubbed the floor harder as the annoying sound of their laughter filled my ears. We were in the throne room and had all been ordered to clean it but, as usual, they just stood at a corner to gossip while I did all the work. I wasn't paying attention to what they were saying, but my ears couldn't help but perk up after hearing a familiar name, "Fangs Pack". It was the pack that my mum was supposedly from and it was rumored that my mum had fled to that pack. I paid attention to what they were saying while pretending to scrub the floor. "They are holding a festival and I heard that there is a possibility that Luna Riena will attend". I heard someone say, my face brightened up on hearing my mother's name.
I moved closer to them with the pretense of cleaning so as to listen to what they were saying, "I also heard that Alpha William has forbade everyone in the pack from going to the festival, probably to stop us from seeing Luna Riena" the girl in the middle continued, she seemed to be the main informant of the group as the others didn't contribute and just payed keen attention to what she was saying. "My guess is that he still loves her and doesn't want her to be humiliated" she added. I couldn't help but agree with what she said. After all, he had the chance to look for my mum and punish her for producing him an abomination.
The girls seemed to have noticed that I was eavesdropping on their conversation as they stopped talking and turned to look at me. I raised my head to see them glaring at me like I had done something wrong. "Is something wrong?" I asked innocently. "What do you think you're doing?" The one in the middle snapped, causing me to flinch, "i.i.i'm clean.n.ing" I shuttered. "Then why are you scrubbing my feets?" She asked and it was only then that I noticed that I had begun to scrub her feets. I quickly apologized and went back to work, cleaning the throne room.
When I was done cleaning, I grabbed a plate and joined the long queue of maids who were waiting to get some food. The girls who were assigned to clean the throne room alongside me walked in and were quick to stand in front of me even though I had arrived there before them, but it wasn't just them, a lot of other maids who arrived after them stood in front of me and by the time it was finally my turn to get my food, there was none left. Tears welled in my eyes as I realized that I would have to starve for the third day, my eyes fell on the people who caused my predicament and I wished that I could go over to them and snatch their food away from them but I was too weak to do anything.
I waited till they were all done eating, then licked off the little crumbs that were left on their plates. It didn't do much in my tummy but I was happy that I at least got to taste something. " What are you still doing here?" Someone snapped and I spun around to see the headmaid glaring at me. It was no news that she hated me and I heard that the reason for her hatred towards me was because she had always been in love with my dad but he didn't spare her a glance. I tried to explain to her what had happened but she wasn't willing to listen to what I had to say, "Shut up! Stupid girl!" She snapped, she handed me a broom and asked me to sweep the Alpha's bedroom and, having no option, I did as told.
It was while I was cleaning the throne room that I realized that I was sick and tired of the ill treatment I was receiving in my own pack. It was at that point that I decided that I wasn't going to stay there anymore. I was going to run away to Fang Pack in search of my mother.
I put my escape plan into action that night. After everyone had slept, I packed my few belongings and snuck out of the maid's quarters. I was successful in sneaking out of the palace and was about to scale over the gates when I heard someone yell, "who goes there!"

I hate girls like her.
Entitled.

Still.
The image of her standing in the doorway, clutching her cardigan tighter around her narrow shoulders, trying to smile through the awkwardness, won’t leave me.
Neither does the memory of Tyler. Leaving her here without a second thought.
I shouldn’t care.

How Not To Fall For A Dragon
Which is why it was more than a little confusing when a letter arrived with my name already printed on a schedule, a dorm waiting, and classes picked out as if someone knew me better than I knew myself. Everyone knows the Academy, it’s where witches sharpen their spells, shifters master their forms, and every kind of magical creature learns to control their gifts.
Everyone except me.
I don’t even know what I am. No shifting, no magic tricks, nothing. Just a girl surrounded by people who can fly, conjure fire, or heal with a touch. So I sit through classes pretending I belong, and I listen hard for any clue that might tell me what’s hidden in my blood.
The only person more curious than me is Blake Nyvas, tall, golden-eyed, and very much a Dragon. People whisper that he’s dangerous, warn me to keep my distance. But Blake seems determined to solve the mystery of me, and somehow I trust him more than anyone else.
Maybe it’s reckless. Maybe it’s dangerous.
But when everyone else looks at me like I don’t belong, Blake looks at me like I’m a riddle worth solving.
A pack of their own
The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.
Especially - Rule Number One - No Mates
When Draven meets Domonic, he knows that she is his mate, but Draven has no idea what a mate is, only that she has fallen in love with a shifter. An Alpha that will break her heart to make her leave. Promising herself, she will never forgive him, she disappears.
But she doesn’t know about the child she’s carrying or that the moment she left, Domonic decided rules were made to be broken - and now will he ever find her again? Will she forgive him?
The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

Accardi
“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.
Genevieve loses a bet she can’t afford to pay. In a compromise, she agrees to convince any man her opponent chooses to go home with her that night. What she doesn’t realize when her sister’s friend points out the brooding man sitting alone at the bar, is that man won’t be okay with just one night with her. No, Matteo Accardi, Don of one of the largest gangs in New York City doesn’t do one night stands. Not with her anyway.

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.

His eyes darken, flicking to my mouth.
