Chapter 1
Elsher's Pov
"Your Highness, congratulations to us. The Vampires had retreated after we followed your method." Bryan, the gamma of my pack, informed me from outside my room.
I stopped pacing and sighed in relief. "Is that true?"
The Vampires had been on our neck forever for a reason that existed far before my father, or I was born.
As they've been doing ever since I was born, the vampires secretly tried to infiltrate the Starry Pack to attack us yesterday.
Luckily, I had successfully inherited all teachings from my father and the wolf clan's ancestors so we were prepared this time, and our tactics helped us win over them this time.
"Yes, Your Highness," Bryan replied. "But they threatened to return in less than two weeks with the aim to snatch our pack and kill us all, which is a little worrying," Bryan explained and sighed in distress.
After hearing Bryan's report, my brows furrowed solemnly.
I frowned and bit my lower lips anxiously knowing Bryan was right
the vampire are fond of attacking the werewolf clan spontaneously but I knew better than to let myself sink in fear. Now is when I need my calmness.
"Alright, I heard you. Everyone is present, right? We'll be having a discussion now. It's time to gather our forces and strengthen our defenses." I uttered and he hummed in response
I massaged my brows and walked into my bedroom.
There was a man suit already arranged by my maid lying on the table.
Without hesitation, I discarded the pajamas I wore and put on the suit.
I picked up a black mask that was placed on top of the wear and wore it on my face. I packed my long black hair into a bun before staring at myself in the mirror.
SHE IS A MAN! I couldn't help thinking.
I, Elsher, the only daughter of Alpha Caddel took over the Starry pack seven years ago when my father died after a big fight with the vampire.
Announcing the death of my father would cause other packs to cast their eyes on the Starry pack and take over it. Many packs will even choose to partner with each other in order to snatch the pack
to avoid such, I've been pretending to be Alpha Caddel and I've been leading the starry pack for the past seven years.
Except for my Beta, gamma, councilmen, and the top offit in the pack, etc. No other person knew that Alpha Caddel was dead, and Elsher was in charge of the Starry pack.
Rather they all believed that Elsher is studying abroad while Alpha Caddel is still reigning
I suppressed my chaotic thoughts, stepped out of Alpha Caddel's room, and made my way to the palace where all my officials were sitting.
"Alpha!" They all stood up to greet me.
I nodded calmly and made my way to the Alpha's seat at the podium and then sat elegantly.
"You may sit," I uttered while faking the thick voice of Alpha Caddel which I had gotten used to over the years.
The officials congratulated me for my smartness which allowed us to win the war with the vampires this time
I smiled calmly and told them that it was all thanks to everyone and cut to the chase.
"Alpha, we've been at war with the vampires for 3 months now. To be honest, the soldiers are too drained to go on another war with the vampire. What are we going to do, Your Highness?" Cordy, the second gamma, began to report.
I scrunch my brows in agreement. The vampires had retreated for a week before returning to engage us in another battle that had just ended.
"The war isn't here yet. Let them use all the time to rest and continue practicing their combat skills. Arrange for more guards to be added to the borders to fortify our defenses. We'll also be raising a new batch of soldiers which is another reinforcement for us. Note, we aren't forcing the pack members to join, it's their choice." I conveyed and they all nodded in satisfaction
"Alpha. Certain rumors are flying around." One of the councilmen suddenly interrupted and handed me a letter.
I frowned slightly but still opened the letter and skimmed through it
The letter stated that Alpha Caddel doesn't join in the battle with the vampires anymore that the Alpha had turned spineless, etc.
"Brush it aside. They're not important." I interrupted coldly and threw the letter away. It's better to focus on solving the vampire issue than going through the useless whines from some of the pack members
"Your Highness, there's something important I need to inform you about?" Beta Eric suddenly stared at me seriously andinformed me.
I arched my brows finding his reactions surprising "What's it?"
"The date of the Alpha conference which is always held every hundred years has been announced." Beta Eric informed me while holding onto something that seemed to be an invitation card.
I scoffed inwardly. "You know I don't go to a meeting, cancel it," I ordered immediately.
immediately, the officials' eyes pinned on me as if they couldn't believe that I just said such words
I frown slightly at their reactions
"I'm sorry, your highness. This isn't just an ordinary, BORING meeting." Beta Eric purposely emphasize the boring just like how I do call attending meetings, parties, etc. that I've been invited to in the past.
I have a lot of things on my plate, why would I need to care about boring meetings when I could just use that time to help the pack grow?
I inhaled and propped my head. “What is that suppose to mean?" I asked Beta Eric for clarification.
Beta Eric leaned forward and solemnly began to explain, "The Alpha conference held a great significance for our pack, especially in terms of alliances and strategies for the future. Your Highness, this is something that Alpha Caddel would certainly go to had it been he was alive." Beta Eric explained, which made me glare at him.
They all knew that mentioning my father would always worked on me because I took my father as my role model.
Alpha Caddel, my father was the one to raise me because my mother died at birth. My father had always raised me to follow his path and never did I want to let down his teaching which they all know
"And your Highness..." Bryan suddenly interrupted
I massage my forehead and exhaled tiredly, wanting nothing but to get done with the meeting. "Alright, go on."
"This isn't an ordinary meeting; it's held to enable alliances and interactions with many packs. By attending the pack we will be able to build connections with powerful packs that would stand by us in case of vampires invading." Bryan solemnly explain
My eyes turned head-lidded and I fall into thought
"Especially, having an alliance with a pack that could supply us with powerful ammunition that is different from ours. I heard Alpha King Verlice Mintz of the Red Moon pack will also be present. Your Highness can try to partner with him as his pack supplies the best ammunition for militaries." Cordy explained
I sighed in distress, faintly understanding that there was no way out but to attend the meeting
I, Elsher, rule the strongest pack in the wolf clan while Verlice Mintz rules the second-strongest pack.
The warriors of the Starry pack are very capable but what's currently dragging them down is powerful weapons.
if I could really partner with Verlice mintz, it'd be beneficial for the pack.
The vampire planned to win over the three strongest packs in the wolf clan to destroy the wolf tribe completely but if I can prevent it by partnering with a pack like Red Moon Pack...
I massaged my brows and scoffed unhappily, "I can't get out of it now, can I?" I asked
"Your Highness, sadly no."
"Verlice Mintz," I whispered while staring at Verlice's image that was derived by typing his name into the mobile search engine.
Verlice Mintz was handsome with deep black eyes, a long and pointed nose, seductive red lips, and sharp jaws. He looked cold, and sexy at the same time.
Even though I wasn't the type to be moved by a man's face, somehow his peerless face had an effect on me and I felt myself blushing. I quickly turned off my phone with my face burning red.

"Yes, Alpha," I pulled my dress over my body, it dropped over my head and fell to the ground behind me. I was left in nothing but my matching bra and thong. My hands covered my chest on reflex.
"Let me see."
My hands dropped to my sides.
I lowered myself into his lap, facing him. His eyes peered into mine, and I could feel his hot breath fan my face. His dick responded to all my moves, hardening against my now-moist vagina. I swallowed hard, allowing my lips to part in a ragged breath. His hands trailed up to my waist.
"No touching."
