What will she choose?
Chapter 1
Evelyn's POV
Your only job here is to make babies. His words echoed in my head.
To him, it was just a job, and I was nothing more than a vessel he had bought to carry his heir.
My father had lied to me. I had not been sold as a servant. How naive was I to believe what he said?
A breeder!
What does it really mean to be a breeder? To conceive a child ......?
No ...... No .......
As hard as my life is, as desperate as I am, I still pray that someday I will find my mate. Someone who will carry me, save me and love me. That was my only and last hope in this life.
And they took him away.
Why did they have to be so cruel to me?
No. ...... Please, I begged, not knowing what else to say or do." I can work hard. I'll pay you back all the money you gave him. Just, please... Anything, but not a breeder."
The man sat silently, looking at me. He said nothing, but his gaze grew colder.
At that moment, his eyes narrowed, indicating that he did not appreciate my venting. I knew without a doubt that his powerful hand could have encircled my throat and easily killed me.
Every part of me knew the wisest thing to do was to stop talking and get away from that dangerous creature, but I had to do something. Anything that would save my virtue.
I just... I can't ...... I have to save myself for my partner. Please. ...... I pleaded with him.
I would try to pay whatever debt he wanted me to pay, but I couldn't sell him my body. It was sacred. It was my last hope after I left here.
The white light in the room seemed blinding and cold. I looked around the room anxiously; everyone was there, so quietly watching me.
No one seemed to hear my pleas. No one moved, no one said anything.
How could I forget? These men around me were not gentle souls. They were ruthless wolf warriors whose only loyalty was to their Alpha.
Fear runs through me and panic grips me.
I can't stay here, I must leave, now! I had to leave.
I quickly tried to retreat from the bed, my feet hit the floor. I tried to run, but the guards quickly caught me and a scream tore from my throat, something I hadn't heard in a long time.
NO! LET ME GO!!!
The weakened state I was in did not help me escape. I barely had the strength to stand up, and so my legs buckled under me and I fell to the ground.
I couldn't even save myself.
------ Flashback ---------
Go get some more wine, Evelyn, Grace smiled falsely at me as she sat down at the table, "and move quickly so we don't have to wait too long."
Grace, my stepmother, had a vicious heart that was the opposite of her beautiful face, and she had been torturing me ever since she married my father, treating me like a maid.
She had a row of candelabras in front of her, and the warm yellow light from the candles made her face look like that of a wicked witch.
Indeed, it was her image.
There will be honored guests coming tonight, Evelyn, remember to prepare a great meal. Grace's daughter, my sister Ashley, instructed unhurriedly.
She was not my father's daughter, but rather the mistress of the house.
I had no choice but to do as she asked, no one in the house cared about me, and if I disobeyed my stepmother and sister, all I could get was a spanking and ill-treatment.
You're a parasite in the family, a loser!
Ashley would often tell me, even though I was the one organizing her clothes, her shoes and her room.
Why are you still standing here? Ashley looked at me in disgust, "Didn't you hear what Mom said, where's the wine?"
I leaned over to her and curtsied even though I was so tired I could barely stand.
Yes, yes, I'll get it right away.
You are too slow to answer, Grace said mercilessly, "you are no longer needed to get the wine now, so go out into the garden and pick some flowers and dress the table."
I looked out into the shady garden. The rain was running down the tall glass windows like little rivers.
But it's pouring outside, I tried to refuse.
Suddenly, Grace glared at me angrily, like a wide-eyed lioness. She snarled through her glossy lipstick.
You have no right to disobey what I say! She jumped to her feet, picked up a silver fork and pointed it at my head, "Stupid! Get your ass out in the garden right now and pick that damn flower!"
I cringed and yelled, "Sorry, Mom! I'll be right there."
Mom, look at his face acting pathetic, it's disgusting. But you can't forget your promise to Dad ...... not to scratch his face.
Come on, Grace said haughtily, with a malevolent gleam in her Amber eyes like a hissing viper, "I don't expect anything of value from a stupid girl like her."
I endured his taunt in silence and ran dejectedly into the garden. The heavy rain soon soaked my dress and skirt, which became cold and heavy and clung to my body.
In the garden were a multitude of flowers, all planted by my mother in life. I wandered into the mud-flooded flowerbeds and tried to pick a few flowers when I faintly heard the sound of car horns heading in the direction of my house.
My father had returned. He was the alpha of the whole wolf pack, staying at the office most of the day and coming home for dinner in the evening.
Placing the picked flowers on my apron to cover them, I look in the direction of the restaurant and in a few moments see Evelyn's father walking slowly from his spot in the parking lot, black umbrella in hand.
He was followed by a young man, Grace's obnoxious and stupid son Carl, who had been trying to get to me ever since he first saw me when I was fourteen. I don't even want to know what my stepmother would have done if I hadn't forced him to leave me alone, just because I was the one earning money for the family.
While they were talking, they went into the dining room. Through the glass window, I saw Grace and Ashley rise from their chairs and greet them both with smiles in the warm candlelight, looking like the friendliest family ever.
A clap of thunder erupted overhead and I reflexively flinched, lifting a hand to wipe away the wet hair clinging to my cheek and mustering the courage to walk toward the dining room.
Evelyn made sure all the dishes were ready ...... before they arrived, Grace took her father's arm and smiled flatteringly, "So, have you negotiated a price yet, dear?"
We've spoken on the phone and all is going well, he's even willing to pay a hefty sum. As soon as we spend the night, Alpha Damon will pay and the money will help us with all our financial problems.
Alpha Damon?
I covered my lips in horror. Alpha Damon was the leader of the largest wolf pack in the west, but also a murderous tyrant. He had waged countless wars, and people's hearts would shudder at the mere mention of his name.
What deal did Dad make with him?
At that moment I felt Grace's gaze and she spotted me, a laugh escaped her bright red lips, "My God, Tyrone. did you see that, Evelyn was there eavesdropping, she's a rude girl."
What did you hear? my father growled angrily.
I flinched at the harshness in his voice and slowly approached the glass door and said, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to eavesdrop, I just wanted to get out of the rain."
Don't get too upset honey, she needed to hear the good news anyway. Grace covered her lips and laughed softly, climbing affectionately onto her father's shoulders.
You're going to do something great for us. In fact, it will change our lives forever.
My heart was pounding with fear, but I kept silent as I waited for the verdict
Alpha Damon would pay a lot of money to have a maid, and you're perfect for it, Evelyn.
I gasped in disbelief.
My father! I called him father and he sold me like I was a sheep ...... How could he?
I was terrified, shocked, unable to speak, this couldn't be!
I plucked up my courage and begged. "Father, please don't. Please, I will try harder. I promise. Let me stay."
Grace seemed to be in a good mood. She smiled at me, but her smile was wicked. "Evelyn, don't push your father so hard; you're only adding to our burden by staying here."
You can't be serious. I'm his only son - the only one who has continued his bloodline!
I can do a lot here to help you make more money ...... Please give me another chance to prove myself to you, I pleaded with tears in my eyes.
Father, please don't do this to me ......, I sobbed on the floor. "Don't send me to him, please ...... if mother is still alive ......"
Soon I couldn't make a sound.
This defiance drove my father crazy. My gaze turned murderous as I watched him and he turned around, grabbing me by the neck and lifting me into the air.
Do as you're told, you'll do as you're told!
He yelled at me and before I knew it, my back was slammed hard against the wall. It felt like every bone in my body had broken and the intense pain caused me to almost pass out.
As I fell to the floor, I began to cry. I no longer cared if she saw me or not. Now I missed my mother, Nina, more than anything.
My father, alpha of our wolf pack, changed when she died. He had never been like that before, it used to be his pride and more. He used to let me ride on his shoulders and call me his little heart.
She used to love me and was trying to break my heart.
Carl! my father commanded.
Yes, Alpha.
Take Evelyn upstairs so she can get cleaned up. Our guests of honor will be arriving soon and I don't want her to look like she does now.
My whole body felt unspeakable pain. I couldn't breathe. My vision blurred.
Don't ruin his face and voice, he'll give me more money with Alpha Damon.
Those were the last words I heard my father say.

I hate girls like her.
Entitled.
Delicate.

Still.
The image of her standing in the doorway, clutching her cardigan tighter around her narrow shoulders, trying to smile through the awkwardness, won’t leave me.
Neither does the memory of Tyler. Leaving her here without a second thought.
I shouldn’t care.
I don’t care.
It’s not my problem if Tyler’s an idiot.
It’s not my business if some spoiled little princess has to walk home in the dark.

Alpha Nicholas's Little Mate
What? No—wait… oh Moon Goddess, no.
Please tell me you're joking, Lex.
But she's not. I can feel her excitement bubbling under my skin, while all I feel is dread.
We turn the corner, and the scent hits me like a punch to the chest—cinnamon and something impossibly warm. My eyes scan the room until they land on him. Tall. Commanding. Beautiful.
And then, just as quickly… he sees me.
His expression twists.
"Fuck no."
He turns—and runs.

How Not To Fall For A Dragon
Which is why it was more than a little confusing when a letter arrived with my name already printed on a schedule, a dorm waiting, and classes picked out as if someone knew me better than I knew myself. Everyone knows the Academy, it’s where witches sharpen their spells, shifters master their forms, and every kind of magical creature learns to control their gifts.
Everyone except me.
I don’t even know what I am. No shifting, no magic tricks, nothing. Just a girl surrounded by people who can fly, conjure fire, or heal with a touch. So I sit through classes pretending I belong, and I listen hard for any clue that might tell me what’s hidden in my blood.
The only person more curious than me is Blake Nyvas, tall, golden-eyed, and very much a Dragon. People whisper that he’s dangerous, warn me to keep my distance. But Blake seems determined to solve the mystery of me, and somehow I trust him more than anyone else.
Maybe it’s reckless. Maybe it’s dangerous.
But when everyone else looks at me like I don’t belong, Blake looks at me like I’m a riddle worth solving.

Steamy, fierce, and full of heart, Goddess of the Underworld is a reverse harem, found-family paranormal romance where love writes the rules and keeps three realms from falling apart.
A pack of their own
The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.
Especially - Rule Number One - No Mates
When Draven meets Domonic, he knows that she is his mate, but Draven has no idea what a mate is, only that she has fallen in love with a shifter. An Alpha that will break her heart to make her leave. Promising herself, she will never forgive him, she disappears.
But she doesn’t know about the child she’s carrying or that the moment she left, Domonic decided rules were made to be broken - and now will he ever find her again? Will she forgive him?
The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

She lived among humans—quiet, invisible, tucked away in a town no one looked at twice.
But when her first heat comes without warning, everything changes.
Her body ignites. Her instincts scream. And something primal stirs beneath her skin—
summoning a big, bad Alpha who knows exactly how to quench her fire.

She’ll be the dream he keeps chasing… the one thing that ever made him feel alive.
Because secrets never stay buried.
And neither do dreams.
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
Invisible To Her Bully
Falling For The Biker: The Vice President's Girl
His eyes darken, flicking to my mouth.
"It's wrong. Your brother would slit my throat for just standing this close. But tell me, little bird" his breath ghosts my skin, "are you trembling because you hate me… or because you've wanted this just as much as I have?"
Wren thought she'd buried the chaos of New Orleans for good—the clubs, the blood-soaked loyalties, the men who lived and died by their kuttes. Seattle gave her everything she ever wanted: freedom, love, a future.
But one betrayal shatters it all.
Dragged home by tragedy, Wren finds herself under the watchful eye of Ezra Jax—the Raven Reapers MC's vice president and her brother's best friend. He's infuriating, dangerous, and far too tempting for a man she should never touch.
And the deeper Wren is pulled back into his world, the more she realizes nothing about her past—or about Ezra—is what she believed.
In the chaos of gang wars, mounting debts, and old betrayals, he becomes the one constant. The more she fights him, the harder she falls. And the more he pushes her away, the more lethal his pull becomes.
Because in this world, love isn't sweet.
It's brutal. Bloody.
And it's bound to break them both.
When loyalty is everything and love can cost your life, will Wren risk her heart on the one man she was never meant to love?
