Introduction
As the words escaped my throat, further fueling the erotic aura in the room, Shane, seemingly undeterred, pushed himself even deeper inside me. It felt like a pleasurable invasion, an intimate trespassing that sent waves of thrilling heat coursing through my veins. His swift, rhythmic movements made my heart flutter in a jumbled rhythm, a carnal tango of desire and fulfillment.
"I want us to cum together, Sierra." Shane's voice, husky and laced with pent-up lust, filled the hushed silence.
Sierra Buendia used to be part of a pack. A pack that was attacked and everyone in it died but her, or so she thought. A pack she swore to never say the name of again. She ran away when she was young and hid amongst the human world. She was found by an older women, who was also a pack runaway from many moons ago. Even though they were not related or even from the same pack. Sierra grew up knowing that Grandma Bobby Ammons loved her very much. And Sierra did everything she could to keep their true identity hidden. She worked like everyone else. And she even opened her own coffee shop. One day her wolf Via scensed that their mate was close. Sierra 24 and had no interest of finding her mate. She didn't even have a boyfriend. Via warned that her mate was the Alpha of the Lunar Sky pack. Sierra wanted no part of it. Every time she went to work she hid her scent, so she was confident that he wouldn't even know that she was a wolf. The day Sierra learned that Grandma Bobby was very sick, she forgot to use her vanishing scent spray. And like clock work he showed up to get his usual coffee and donut. He had been coming here for over a week. Today their eyes locked. Will this guy realise that she is his mate? Will Grandma Bobby make it through? One thing is for sure, Sierra isn't ready to go anywhere, and she sure isn't into being someone’s Luna.
Chapter 1
My name is Sierra Buendia. I am 24 years old. I am what is called a lone wolf. 20 years ago I ran away from my pack and have never looked back. I live with my grandma Bobby Ammons. She is my rock. She is also a werewolf, like me but not from the same pack. Also a run away like I am. She ran away from the Scarlet Stars Pack almost 50 years ago. I ran because some really bad things happened in my pack. She, on the other hand, ran because her mate died and she didn't want to live where all she could ‘see’ was him. We live amongst humans and have lived very well.
We have never had any problems being here. No one knows our real identity. And that is perfect for me. I mask my scent every time I leave the house just like she has taught me to do. My Wolf Via informed me that at some point over the last few years, my mate has been looking for me with no luck. I don't want or need a mate. I have been able to take care of me and Grandma just fine without one. However, Via says that he is an Alpha of the Lunar Sky Pack.
I didn't give a damn, a mate has never interested me, especially an Alpha mate. My father was once an Alpha and that never did us any good. As an Alpha, your job is to protect your family and pack. He failed at his job. Not only that but I have no interest at all in being anyone's Luna. Like ever. I don't need to run a pack or be in charge of one. I am perfectly fine with my life having me, my wolf Via and my Grandma Bobby in it.
I am a high school graduate of Narvana High School and have opened up my own little coffee shop called S.B. Coffee Dunk, the S.B. stands for Sierra, Bobby. We have been doing very well for ourselves. Grandma Bobby loves to make all the pastries for the coffee shop. And she does a damn good job at making all different kinds of goodies. Lately, it seems that Grandma is becoming a little forgetful. Even though she is the strongest wolf that I know, I fear that she doesn't have much longer.
Something about me is that I love scary movies. I think it is so funny to see how all the females act like they have no common sense. I know for a fact, that I would not be locking my front door and running upstairs trying to hide from the bad guy. My favorite food is steak and cheese subs with french fries. I had my first one when I was 10 and since then I can't get enough of them. Granma Bobby said that I need to eat more than just that for my 3 meals a day. I like to disagree but I let her feed me whatever it is that she makes. As long as she is happy so am I.
I love to be out in the wild. I love hiking and walking all different trails. The sounds and smell of nature have a calming effect on me and always have. When I was younger I would sleep in a tent in the yard. Grandma would camp out with me sometimes. But a lot of the time it was just me. It was a great way for me to process my day's events.
Grandma Bobby and I live in a one-level, 7,000-square-foot home. I like it because everything is on one floor. And I know that it is easier for Grandma because of her age to get around and do things that she enjoys doing without stairs getting in her way. There are 4 bedrooms and 1 and a half baths. She is not much for bright colors so most of the house walls are painted white. Except for my room. I however love color, so my walls are bright yellow. My favorite colors are yellow and blue, so with my walls being yellow, the decor in my room and different shades of blue. I know those two colors put together aren't for everyone. But it is for me. The house itself is painted a very pale green. And has the prettiest stone walkway that I have ever seen. I mean it isn't like I have seen a ton of stone walkways, but I have seen a few.
I stand about 5’5” but my Grandma is about 5’4”. She said that when she was about 18 she stood at almost 5’6”. She believes that with her old age, she shrunk in size. I told her that I didn't think that was possible, but she swears it was true. The other good aspect about the 2 of us is when we love we love hard. I would do anything for her. And I mean anything. I have bright blue eyes and shoulder-length brown hair. I am what I have heard be called more on the thicker side of female bodies. But what can I say, I love to eat. I weigh about 190 pounds. I am honestly very happy in my skin.
Now when it comes to friends, she and I have not had any because of the risk it would cause having a human for a friend. But there is a woman named Dawn that comes into my coffee shop once in a while. She is a great person and super nice. She knows a little bit about me, and I am betting by the way that she tells me everything that I know about her. I call her my town gossip queen. She loves to tell me all the juicy stories of the town. I don't mind hearing about it. It allows me to also keep Grandma informed.
My coffee shop, as I had mentioned before, opened when I was 21. I had been talking with Grandma about doing that for years. On my 21st birthday, she gave me a small box. I was confused as to what it was because she had already given me some amazing gifts. When I opened it there was a key in the box. At first, I questioned if she had gotten me a car. She laughed at me and said nope it wasn't a car, it was my dream. It took me a minute before I understood what she said. She bought the building that was about a 2-minute walk from the house. She told me that she wanted to gift me something that was not only going to benefit me but also will be with me for life. And I promised her that it would be.

"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
