Introduction
'EVERYONE OUT!! one of the gun holding men shouted from behind. The remaining customers ran outside. A proper moment of chaos.
Just when i was trying to get out that boy from earlier grabbed my wrist. Didn't they mean everyone?. A sudden rush of terror flashes over me.
"Where are you going dollface?" I can see his lips twitching up in a smirk. A devilish smirk. I feel my heart just dropped to the ground.
"Meet Isabella Grace, a college student who just wants a peaceful life. But her fate changes drastically in a single night when she meets Toby, the Mafia boss. Will she give in to him, or resist his flames?"
Chapter 1
"Isabella Grace's fate turned around in a single night when she met him, Toby, her sworn enemy. She was brought into the mafia world and later found out that her parents had been members of the mafia before her uncle killed them. Let's not ruin all the fun yeah? Yeah! let's get right into the story hehehe.
"So how's your college going Hope?" Alex grinned showing all his teeth.
"Just don't ask! I've been writing essays all day" I huffed in annoyance. "The more i try to focus i feel like a disappointment" i pouted.
"Aw, hard work huh? Don't worry i know you are capable to make it through" he patted my back. I smiled back.
Even though we met just a few days ago working here, but we both became really good friends
instantly. We were on our second round of talking behind our boss and laughing our asses off. It makes me glad that Alex and i bonded so well in such short time.
"Do you know him?" Alex suddenly pointed outside the glass. I lowered my eyebrows.
His back was turned at me so i couldn't see his face. He wore a black leather jacket and black jeans. By looks i didn't think i knew him.
"No, why are you asking?"
"Nothing he, he just seems dangerous. He's been pacing around for quite a long time. Do you think i should talk to him? He's scaring away our customers" he joked. I just rolled my eyes at him and smirked.
Not just a few minutes later that boy finally decided to come into the cafe. He walked straight to me and Alex. Never separating his eyes from mine. I was already having an unsettling feeling about this guy just then i spotted a gun in his right hand.
Boy is this for you real?
Before i could debate whether that gun was real or not he cleared my doubts by lifting his hands up and firing into the air. The sound of firing bombarded in the room.
Holy shit! What in the hell is happening?
My ears were ringing from the sudden blast. Both James and I were utterly shocked. We looked at each other with widened eyes. In the meantime two more guys entered the cafe. Each of them had a gun in his hand. If this isn't a crime movie scene that I'm probably dreaming of right now, please save me God!
'EVERYONE OUT!! one of the guys shouted from behind. The customers ran outside. A proper moment of chaos.
Just when i was trying to get out that boy from earlier grabbed my wrist. Didn't they meant everyone?. A sudden rush of shiver ran down my spine.
"Where are you going dollface?" I can see his lips twitching up in a smirk. A devilish smirk. I felt my heart sink to my feet.
'Doll face' he sounded so familiar. His blue eyes i-i've seen those before.
I struggled in his grip. Tears were already gathering at the corner of my eyes. My heart was beating ten times faster than usual. I let a loud scream out.
"Shut up. Don't make this any worse than it already is." he hissed at me placing his gun under my chin harshly. More tears started streaming down.
"Hey, let her go" I saw Alex from the corner of my eyes. He's coming forward to save me. But I gave him a hint by my hand to stay there. 'call police' i mouthed at him.
I don't even know if he understood what I was saying because I was practically shaking. I guess he got me because he halted and snuck behind the counter to use the land phone.
Suddenly there were two more gunshots. This time not in the air. My heart literally jumped out of my mouth when i saw Alex falling down to the floor on his knees. He got shot in the arms. His white shirt covered in blood.
"Told you not to make it worse," the maniac in front of me said dramatically.
His grip tightened more as I was wincing in pain. I couldn't believe my eyes. I was laughing with Alex few minutes ago and now he's on the floor groaning in pain.
'Come with me' he mumbled under his breath and dragged me out of the cafe. No matter how much i kicked and struggled with him, it didn't make his grip any less loose.I was no match for him.
He pushed me into a black car, entered with the other guys and started the car. Everything was super fuzzy. I was crying so hard that i couldn't even grasp what was happening around me. The car started moving at high speed.
I was in the backseat in the middle of two people. On my right there was a blonde girl who scoffed at me as soon as i looked at her. On my left a boy was sitting. He flashed a smile at me and said "hi' when i looked at him I ignored him. I was almost done processing if it was a kidnap or a robbery.
Aha! I was being kidnapped.
I was breathing so fastly. I glanced at the front seat and i saw the 'Mr doll face' from earlier driving the car.
TOBY!! TOBY!!! how can i not know him.
Toby Knight, the most powerful businessman all over the world. You'd often see news about him in magazines. Everyone knows he leads most of the crimes rings around but there's really no evidence against him. I'm kidnapped by none other than the infamous Toby knight.
Well I'm officially doomed.
"PP-Please let m-me go, i d-didn't do anything. Let me g-go" i was crying so hard when i begged them to release me.
"Do you think we went through the stress of kidnapping you only to let you go?" The blonde girl snapped at me with disgust and rolled her eyes. I clearly don't get what i did to annoy her so much.
"Do you want her to celebrate being here Steph?" the boy on my left snapped at the girl named 'Steph' i assume.
If only i could throw a nobel prize at him. He seemed to hate her with passion, just like me.
"Shut up, Mike" She snapped again.
I heard chuckles from Toby and the other guy who was in the passenger seat by him.
"Why did you bring her Daniel? She's useless with that mouth of hers that only splits venom Mike groaned. He was talking about Steph to the guy beside Toby.
"At least I'm better than your girlfriend who can't even hold a gun properly" Steph made fun of him. Mike was fuming with anger.
"Dani tell her not to take Audrey's name on her mouth' he said to Daniel.
"I never did" Steph rolled her eyes.
She's so dramatic. I took advantage of their mini argument which seems to distract their attention from me.
I'm so glad i always carry a pepper spray with me when i was hallucinating creepy followers behind me, now i know for sure i wasn't hallucinating. It must be them.
I don't even know what I'm thinking. Seriously? A pepper spray is gonna save me from knights? I am probably the dumbest person alive but i need to give a last push to my hope.
That's why I pulled out the spray and sprayed it over Stephs eyes. She let out a squeal. Of course everyone in the car was surprised by the stunt i just pulled. They probably never imagined I would do this. And boy, neither did I.
I quickly bent over to unlock the car door. And guess what, I did it. I pushed Steph and jumped outside. Everything happened in a super fast motion before anyone could do anything i hit the ground with a loud thud.
'Bitch' i heard Steph hiss under her breath. I know She got injured but right now i could care less about her. I was running for my dear life.
I heard the car stop immediately with a screeching sound. I can't believe i got away so easily.
Or not?

My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
