Introduction
Harley has spent her entire life learning not to depend on anyone.
Raised by a grandmother who took her in out of obligation rather than love, she learned early that the only person she could count on was herself. Through high school, she focused on one goal: escape. No friendships. No relationships. Just perfect grades and the scholarship that would finally give her a fresh start.
College is supposed to be her chance to become someone new.
Then she meets him.
A mysterious older man. A chance encounter on her first day. Nothing more than a fluke—or so Harley tells herself.
Until he keeps appearing.
Then strange things begin happening. Someone is watching her. Following her. And Harley has no idea who she can trust.
Cooper
Cooper has built an empire through intelligence, ambition, and a willingness to do whatever is necessary.
Legally—or otherwise.
One of the richest and most powerful men in the world, Cooper is used to getting what he wants. He surrounds himself with beautiful women, but he follows one rule:
No relationships.
Then he sees Harley.
Young. Innocent. Completely untouched by his world.
And suddenly, the rules no longer matter.
He wants her.
When fear drives Harley into Cooper's arms, he becomes her protector, her sanctuary, and the only person she believes can keep her safe.
But the deeper she falls into his world, the more dangerous his obsession becomes.
Because sometimes the person protecting you...
...is the person you should be running from.
When Harley discovers that nothing is as it seems, she runs.
And Cooper must decide:
Will he let the only woman he's ever wanted walk away?
Or will he prove that once you've crossed The Rubicon...
...there's no going back?
Chapter 1
Harley
I was studying the computer screen in front of me and not really looking around, so I was surprised when someone sat down across from me without my permission. I looked up from my screen and then was doubly confused. The man sitting there didn’t seem to belong here.
I was a freshman in college, and I’d just arrived on campus earlier today. Tomorrow was the official Freshman meet and greet shit, but tonight I had just wanted to check out a local coffee shop and start getting some things lined up. That meant going over course syllabi and making sure I knew where buildings were and all of that. I was also sending an e-mail to my best friend telling her about my room and all of that.
The coffee shop had been rather full of students; some looked like a fish out of water, rather like myself, and then some looked like they knew what they were doing and where they were going, and I’d bet they were upperclassmen.
I hadn’t engaged anyone in conversation after I had grabbed a cup of coffee; rather, I’d decided to just be a silent observer tonight. So, I’d found a small booth off in the back corner away from everyone to not encourage conversation. This way, I was also in a prime location just to watch and not engage.
Now, however, it seemed as if someone had decided he would engage me anyway. I was extremely confused, though. This was no student. He was older, had an air of sophistication about him, not to mention a killer, seemingly way too expensive suit on. His hair was immaculate, and he had a very well-groomed beard. His chocolate brown hair was the proper business length and combed in a side part with a swept-back top. His cerulean blue eyes were boring into me in a rather unnerving way, honestly.
“Ah, can I help you?” He grinned at that, and I had no clue why.
“I am very sure you can help me; the question is, will you?” That just confused me all the more.
“I am sorry, I’m not sure what you are talking about. I’m new here, and this is my very first day, in fact. I am a freshman, so I wouldn't be able to give you any information really.” I thought maybe he would nod and get up, leaving me in peace once again.
Instead, his smile seemed to grow. “Oh, I’m not seeking out knowledge of the school. I know enough of that. No, the information that I would like is your name.”
“You want to know my name? Why?” I was genuinely confused. I was not anywhere close to this guy’s type, so why was he wanting my name?
“I want to know your name because I believe it will end up being important.” I tilted my head at him and thought about that. I thought he was full of shit but couldn’t figure out if it would be a problem to tell him my name.
“My name is Harley.” He nodded.
“Your last name would be what, Harley?” I shook my head.
“Look, I have no clue who you are or why you are talking to me, but my first name is far more than enough. I’m not interested in anything you might be offering, and I just want to finish this e-mail to my best friend.” He smiled a bit more at me.
“Oh, Harley, I can assure you that I very much want to talk to you. You may think you are not interested, but I have a feeling that will change. Since you are new and all of that, I’ll let you get back to what you are doing right now. I’ll be seeing you around, Harley.” With that, he left just as abruptly as he’d come over here.
I shook my head and went back to my computer screen, sure that I would never lay eyes on Mr. Handsome but creepy again. He very much didn’t seem like he’d be someone who would be in the places I would normally be while attending college, so I just blew it off. I was the very last girl who would ever interest a guy like that. I hadn’t even interested the normal boys in High School, so this was way out of my league.
Cooper
I couldn’t even tell you why she originally caught my eye. Perhaps it had more to do with her unusual color of hair. Her hair was a deep vibrant red, but not the kind that came from a box. No, I would bet money that was all natural, and money was something I didn’t lose.
When she’d walked by, my eyes had been drawn to her, and I found myself unable to look away. Normally, she would not be anything like I would be the least interested in. The women I surrounded myself with were sleek, elegant, and sophisticated. I wasn’t interested in anything that wasn’t simple physical gratification, so they had to be very aware of that from the beginning. I didn’t do attachments.
So, what in the hell was it about this young woman that drew me to her so thoroughly? She hadn’t flirted with me at all. In fact, the opposite seemed to be true. She’d looked me over, but I hadn’t seen lust or dollar signs light up her eyes like I usually would. Of course she didn’t seem to know who I was either. She had no clue I was one of the richest men in the world, so perhaps if she’d known that, the results of my sitting in front of her would have been different?
One thing I knew was that I fully intended to find out. She had intrigued me, and I was curious. I didn’t deny my curiosities; I thoroughly indulged in them. So, Harley would most definitely be seeing me again, and probably much sooner than she thought.
I was, after all, a major financial backer of the college. So, my popping in to see the new class of freshmen for orientation would not be frowned upon. In fact, I had a feeling that the administration would be falling all over themselves to accommodate me. They usually did. Everyone did when you were as rich as I was. Tomorrow would be no different.
Therefore, I would be seeing Harley there no doubt. She very much seemed like the type of girl who would attend such an event to get all of the information she would need to be successful in her new environment. So, tomorrow, I would find out much more about her one way or another. Once I had her last name, I’d be able to have my head of security, Duncan, run a full background check on her.
“I’ll see you tomorrow, Harley.” I smiled as I climbed into the back of my limo and had my driver continue home.

Accidentally Crossing the Tycoon
Four years ago, the Bailey family faced a devastating financial crisis.
Just when bankruptcy seemed inevitable, a mysterious benefactor emerged, offering salvation with one condition: a contract marriage.
Rumors swirled about this enigmatic man—whispers claimed he was hideously ugly and too ashamed to show his face, possibly harboring dark, twisted obsessions.
Without hesitation, the Baileys sacrificed me to protect their precious biological daughter, forcing me to take her place as a pawn in this cold, calculated arrangement.
Luckily, in those four years, the mysterious husband never asked to meet in person.
Now, in the final year of our arrangement, the husband I've never met is demanding we meet face to face.
But disaster struck the night before my return—drunk and disoriented, I stumbled into the wrong hotel room and ended up sleeping with the legendary financial mogul, Caspar Thornton.

King of the Underworld
However, one fateful day, the King of the Underworld appeared before me and rescued me from the clutches of the most powerful Mafia boss's son. With his deep blue eyes fixed on mine, he spoke softly: "Sephie... short for Persephone... Queen of the Underworld. At last, I have found you." Confused by his words, I stammered out a question, “P..pardon? What does that mean?”
But he simply smiled at me and brushed my hair away from my face with gentle fingers: "You are safe now.”
Sephie, named for the Queen of the Underworld, Persephone, she's quickly finding out how she's destined to fulfill her namesake's role. Adrik is the King of the Underworld, the boss of all bosses in the city he runs.
She was a seemingly normal girl, with a normal job until it all changed one night when he walked through the front door and her life changed abruptly. Now, she finds herself on the wrong side of powerful men, but under the protection of the most powerful among them.
Cursed To Be His
At thirteen, everything changed.
After her parents were murdered, she was cursed by a powerful witch and used as a vessel for Elder magic. Saving her life came at an impossible cost; the curse was broken, but so was the wolf inside her, leaving her human.
Ten years later, Talia hides her grief behind sharp sarcasm and a smile she no longer believes. When a rogue attack proves she can no longer protect herself, or the people she loves, she leaves the only home she's ever known for the quiet human town of Ashbourne Hollow, determined to disappear.
Instead, she catches the attention of the town's most dangerous owner.
Alaric Lazarus is a vampire who rules from the black castle overlooking Ashbourne Hollow. He is cold, enigmatic, and impossible to read, but he awakens something in Talia she can't explain. She doesn't trust him. He trusts her even less.
Then vampires begin turning up dead.
Forced into an uneasy alliance, Talia and Alaric uncover a trail that leads back to the family she lost... and the curse she thought she'd escaped. As old enemies emerge from the shadows and buried secrets come to light, Talia discovers that everything she believed about her past was a lie.
Because the curse that stole her wolf was never meant to save her.
It was meant to lead her to him.

Dan Belinni: Pregnant by the Lethal Mafioso

At nineteen, he is already known for illegal fights, brutal enforcement, and a temperament that turns any challenge into punishment. He doesn’t believe in mercy. He doesn’t believe in love. He believes in control.

It is taken.
Taste of Fate: The Vampire King's Human Mate
He reached for the back of my head and pulled me up just enough to reach my neck. When his fangs slid into me, the pain was instant, electric. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t think. My hands found his shoulders, clawing for something to hold. My legs kicked. Tears streamed down my cheeks.
He moaned against my throat as he drank, and the sound was devastating.
Pregnant by My Husband's Rival Alpha
Those words should have destroyed me, but the truth was worse: I'd been used as a broodmare by the man who swore to love me, set up in a hotel room with a stranger because My husband Alexander Cross couldn't father children himself, and now I carried the secret babies of Damon Lester—the most powerful and dangerous Alpha in San Loris—while my own family replaced me with the daughter they'd always wanted. But when that same stranger's doctor appeared at my door, when twenty million dollars exchanged hands over a fake perfume bearing my secret identity, and when Damon's gray eyes locked onto mine with recognition I couldn't afford, I realized my carefully hidden life as the legendary perfumer Vera was colliding with a pregnancy that could cost me everything.
Could I protect my babies from the husband plotting my death, hide my true identity from the Alpha who's been hunting me for years, and reclaim the freedom I'd buried along with my dreams—even if it means standing alone against the wolves who see me as nothing more than a womb to be used and discarded?
