Chapter 1
I can remember the day that I realized that I loved him more than just a friend. More so even then just a crush. It was a Saturday. A dreary and rainy day really. I had spent all my Saturdays at their house since ever. It's the kind of thing that happens when your parents are best friends. Fridays the boys stay with us and Saturdays I stay with them.
On this particular Saturday though I didn't want to stay. I wanted to go to a party with one of my friends but my parents said no. So, I am skulking.
"I can ask my parents if we can go." Greyson offers beside me.
"Yeah, they would call my parents and ask first. Thanks though." I sigh.
"I'm sure next year they'll let you go. You know how they are Cassie."
"Next year I'll be 14 and they said when I'm 16." I huff rolling my eyes and making him laugh.
"Well, I am 14 and there ain't nothing special about it I promise."
"I bet Kai could go he's 15." I scoff angrily.
"He's grounded actually. He's failing his classes." Greyson says.
I stand and enter his house walking up the steps to his room. I flop on the bed and sigh.
"Who pissed her off?" Kai asks Greyson.
"The world." He laughs making me throw a pillow at him.
"The world is unfair." I pout.
"Are you going to sulk all night or do you want to have fun?" Greyson prods.
"The latter."
"Too bad, fun it is."
"I'm up for fun since I can't leave the house." Kai says sitting on the floor.
"What kind of fun?" I ask sitting up and crossing my arms over my chest.
Greyson holds up a finger and disappears down the hall. Kai stands up and sits next to me on the bed.
"Why are you so mad anyways Cass?" He asks looking at me.
"I wanted to go to a party with Margine but my parents said no."
"Those parties aren't all that great for girls like you."
"What is that supposed to mean? Girls like me." I grit out.
"All they do at those parties are make out and drink. Have you ever even been kissed?" He asks. I feel my face flush at his words. No I haven't but that isn't the point.
"That wasn't the point, Kai." I growl looking away.
I hear him chuckle softly and I look back at him to yell but he presses his lips to mine quickly. It's short.
He pulls away and smiles gently.
"Now you have been kissed. You're not missing much. Trust me." Then he leaves me alone on the bed.
I have had a crush on Kai for a long time. He's smart and funny and hot. And he just kissed me. My first kiss.
I touch my lips and grin like a fool.
A few minutes later Greyson reappears with board games.
"You look better. What happened?" He asks sitting on the floor and opening Monopoly.
"I don't know." I answer honestly. Kai stays in his room until dinner and even then he doesn't talk to me.
When I walk upstairs he stops me though.
"About earlier. The kiss. I'm sorry. If it was weird. You deserve a proper first kiss and that was wrong to rob you of it."
I try to think of something to say but I can't. He regrets kissing me? That hurts a lot more than I would ever admit.
"You don't have to be embarrassed Kai. I don't want your pity kisses anyhow." I say walking into Greyson's room and leaving him alone in the hallway.
I was mad. At myself. At Kai. At my parents. At the world.
Greyson fell right to sleep and I went to get a drink. The house was quiet but it was my second home. I pour a glass of water and take a sip when I hear foot steps.
"What are you doing up?" Kai asks.
"Drink." I say putting my glass in the sink and walking past him. he grabs my elbow making me stop.
"I didn't mean to hurt your feelings earlier. I wanted to kiss you. I couldn't help myself."
"Cool." I say not looking at him.
"Cass. Look at me." He pleads. I sigh and turn, crossing my arms.
He leans in at the same time I hear the front door open. I step back and run to the stairs as Killian walks in. He looks back and fourth between the two of us with a furrowed brow.
I don't stick around. I go back to Greyson's room and climb into bed. Closing my eyes and trying to calm my racing heart.
Killian is 18 and graduated. He's the oldest and I don't think that he likes me very much.
I hear the door open and my breath pauses.
"It's just me." Kai whispers kneeling down so he can see my face. "Killian was drunk so he won't even remember what he saw."
"Nothing happened." I whisper. He smiles cockily and I roll my eyes.
"I like you Cass. A lot. But, it has to be a secret until your birthday at least." He leans in and presses his lips to mine and I swear fireworks erupt inside of me. This kiss is longer. More.
He pulls away and stands up. Leaving me alone to wonder if I dreamt that.
I fall asleep smiling. I think of all the times Kai has stuck up for me. The hugs he gave me when I needed them. I realize I may even love him a little bit. And it scares me a lot.
I end up dreaming about him, and it's weird. It freaks me out because I never have dreamt of him before now.

The flowers beneath my mother's window turned black overnight. The herbs I gathered at dawn rotted in my hands. When the court wizard finally told me the truth—that someone cursed me, that my presence would kill everyone I love—I realized the prophecy everyone believed was never meant to save the kingdom. It was meant to destroy me.
So I ran. Not to fulfill some destiny, but to survive it.
Now I'm traveling with a hunter who lost his companions to the same curse I carry, chasing fragments of a prophecy the Fae sing differently. An elf took a baby from the palace the night I was born. And somewhere between the lies I've been told and the truth I'm hunting, I'm starting to suspect: What if I'm not the princess from the prophecy at all?

The CEO's Unspoken Love
Before I could answer, he moved closer, suddenly looming over me, his face inches from mine. I felt my breath caught, my lips parting in surprise.
"Then this is the price for speaking ill of me to others," he murmured, nipping my lower lip before claiming my mouth in a real kiss. It began as punishment but quickly transformed into something else entirely as I responded, my initial rigidity melting into compliance, then active participation.
My breathing accelerated, small sounds escaping my throat as he explored my body. His touches were both punishment and pleasure, drawing shudders from me that I thought he felt reverberating through his own body.
My nightgown had ridden up, his hands discovering more of mine with each caress. We were both lost in sensation, rational thought receding with each passing second...

Mates: Regrets and Redemption
With my heart in pieces, I sought solace in the last place I expected—my Alpha's arms. One night turned into a dangerous entanglement, and now my Alpha refuses to let me go. As the Alpha’s obsession grows, I'm caught in a web of desire and fear.
Curtis, the boy I once loved, still holds a promise I made, but the Alpha’s powerful presence pulls me deeper into his world. Should I forgive Curtis and keep my word, or should I risk everything for a chance at something wild and unpredictable with the Alpha who won’t take no for an answer?
“There are no limits between us,” he chuckled, the mirth sparkling in his gorgeous eyes. “And all of this stems from the night you gave me both pain and pleasure. I’m simply returning the favor.”
He took two steps forward, and I stepped back. “But…” The memory of what I had done filled me with fear, and I knew I had to get out of there. “I…”
“No, Firecat.” He placed an index finger on my lips. “This will take your mind off that son of a bitch.” His strong hands pulled me by the waist until I felt his hard manhood.
From Sacrificed Slave to the Dragon King's Obsession
His fangs glinted as he gripped my chin, forcing me to meet his gaze. Dragon scales shimmered along his neck, breath scorching my skin.
"Your Majesty... I beg—" He shoved me onto the bed. Silk tore with a sharp rip, cold air rushing over my exposed body.
"Scared?" He smirked, palm sliding down my waist, fingers tracing slow, burning circles. "Yet you shiver... not from cold."
I lunged for the candlestick, but he caught my wrist, pinning it overhead. His knee forced my legs apart.
"When your father gave you to me," his lips brushed my ear, voice a dark rumble, "you were already mine."
On the eve of freedom after ten years of servitude, Lina Valeria stood one night away from reuniting with her betrothed. But Dragon King Augustus condemned her to the Abyss Mines on false charges—a trap forged from obsessive desire.
Augustus Ashenwing, Supreme Sovereign of Skyhold Citadel, is ruthless and feared by all races. His obsession stems from ancient grudges and dragonkind's most dangerous instinct: possessive desire. He demands her submission, binding her to his throne as his consort.
From prisoner to queen, Lina battles him through court intrigue and twisted passion—fighting for her mother, her freedom, her dignity.
Yet this cold-blooded tyrant reserves all tenderness for her alone. He indulges her temper, bends his pride, compromises without limit—anything to see her smile. Gradually, her heart wavers. But loving him means betraying Kain, who waited eleven years. Torn between duty and desire, she drowns in agonizing guilt.
Love and hatred intertwined—a forbidden dragon romance in a realm of oppression.
Vengeance of the Forsaken Luna
"Bella." Ethan's tone shifted, taking on that warning edge I knew too well. "Faye is vulnerable right now. She's terrified you'll resent her, that this will divide the pack. The last thing she wants is for this baby to come between us."
"Then you shouldn't have done it." I met his eyes squarely, letting him see the ice in mine. "Go back to your son."
"For fuck's sake." He dragged a hand through his hair. "How many times—it was artificial insemination. They used my sperm, yes, but Faye and I never—"
Bella let out a cold snort. Such brazen lies. Her mate had an affair with his brother's partner, and his entire family helped force her out with nothing, all to make way for the mistress to take her rightful position. Poor fool—he thought she was just an unwanted adopted daughter, easy to dismiss and control. He never knew the computer genius he'd been searching for was his own Luna.
Since he'd tainted himself, Bella was done. She rejected him and reclaimed what was hers, rising to the top with help from Victor, who'd been secretly in love with her for years.
When Ethan tried winning her back: "You don't want our child growing up fatherless."
Bella smiled mockingly. "The child's father isn't you."
To protect what’s mine
