What My Brother Doesn't Know
Freespirit · Ongoing · 32.7k Words
Introduction
“I don’t think you’re thinking straight,” Grant chuckled lightly. “I think you may have drunk a little too much at the party.”
My hands drifted to his boxers once again, making him realize that I was actually serious about this.
Rose is in love with her brother's best friend, Grant and the feeling is mutual.
Grant doesn’t have a steady home. His mom is never around and when she is, they fight. Trent and Rose is the only stable thing in his life.
Their parents abandoned them and Trent had to step up and become a parent to his little sister, which is why Rose never want to hurt him.
Both not wanting to hurt Trent, they keep their love a secret but the funny thing about secrets is that they never stay hidden.
Will Trent ever find out?
Chapter 1
I was sitting on the bed wearing only a bra and panties; he sat opposite to me shirtless. I wondered how long he was going to wait before he took his pants off. I'd already decided that I was getting completely naked tonight. He looked at me with complete lust in his eyes; an excited shiver ran down my spine.
"Listen Rosie," He began "I-"
Beep! Beep! Beep!
Ugh, my stupid alarm clock! It was just getting to the good part as well. Could I ever catch a break?
"ROSE! CAN'T YOU HEAR YOU'RE ALARM CLOCK GOING OFF? GET UP OR YOU'RE GOING TO BE LATE FOR SCHOOL!" Trent pounded on my door.
"GIVE ME A MINUTE, WOULD YOU?" I shouted back. Seriously, I'd only just woken up! I sighed loudly so my brother could hear my annoyance and turned the alarm off so he would stop banging on my door.
I slowly got up, sad to be parted from my bed, and made my way to the bathroom. I took a quick shower to freshen up and blow dried my hair so it hung in waves around my face. Back in my room, I wandered over to the wardrobe to see what today's fashion choice would be. Okay, I couldn't decide whether I should wear the blue or the black jeggings. After about half an hour of internal debating, I decided to wear the blue ones and I threw on a blue halter-top to match. On the way out of my room, I grabbed my black aero postal sweater just in case it was chilly outside.
I made my way downstairs ready for school.
My brother was in the kitchen eating breakfast with his best friend Grant. They are the most popular guys in school. I sighed for the second time today. Grant looks like your typical average jock: dirty-blond hair that falls onto his face; an athletic build; and a smile that rivals Hollywood's best. He's naturally tanned due to his origins; his mom's Hispanic and his dad's Caucasian. And, to top it all off, he has these killer eyes. They're a deep shade of blue; I guess you could say that they were almost a violet colour. His eyes were framed by envy-worthy eyelashes that any girl would die for.
In other words, he's hot- very hot. Grant is also your average player. Well, everybody thinks that's what he's like but he's not. I know the truth...
My brother and I are complete opposites: we both have reddish-brown hair although his is mostly brown while mine is almost wholly made up from tones of red; he has brown eyes whereas I have green; and I'm very pale with freckles while he's a got a healthy glow and hasn't got a single freckle in sight. In other words, he got all of mom's good genes leaving me with dad's genes. I guess life just isn't fair like that.
I'm pulled from my thoughts when I realise what Grant is eating: my coco puffs again. Everybody knows how I feel about my coco puffs. They are mine- nobody else's- they are for me and me alone. Grant, however, obviously thinks he can just help himself. Think again buddy!
"Rose, you don't have time to eat since you came down so late." Trent tells me after checking his watch. He and Grant put their dirty bowls in the sink. "Just grab a fruit from the fruit basket."
I ignored my brother and turned my attention to Grant. Why did he have to be here eating my coco puffs?
"What are you doing here?" I asked him irritably.
He shrugged. "I'm always here."
"I can see that. I can also see that you ate my coco puffs. Don't you have a house of your own? Eat your own coco puffs at your own house!" I said. It so wasn't fair.
"Yeah, I have my own house but I like this house better." He answered with a smirk. Jerk.
I let out a sigh of frustration. "Whatever, bubblehead." Was 'bubblehead' really the best insult I could come up with? Jeez!
He laughed amused. "Bubblehead?"
I nodded. Stick with it Rose. "Yeah. That's right."
"At least I'm not a freak." Ouch that one stung a little. I pulled a face and grabbed an apple- following Trent's earlier advice.
"Okay, if you two are done arguing," My brother said interrupting our conversation. It really bugged him how we couldn't just get along. "We've got to go." Trent made his way to the front door expecting Grant to follow him.
"Oops. I left my bag upstairs; I'll meet you guys outside." I quickly ran up to my room and grabbed my SpongeBob square pants shoulder bag. Oh, maybe I am a freak. It was just so cute though! I went back downstairs to find Grant waiting down the steps.
"Hey." He smiled wrapping his arms around me and connecting my lips to his. Completely cliché but his kisses always make my whole body tingle and everything else kind of falls away. Right now, it's just me and him. After a minute, we pulled away to catch our breath- our foreheads still touching.
"Hi." I replied somewhat breathlessly.
"Sorry for calling you a freak before." He apologized. "You know I didn't mean it, right?"
"It's okay. Just make it up to me tonight." I assured Grant with a quick wink.
He chuckled. "Okay. I will."
"We are officially going to be late for school." My brother walks through the door without warning. Grant and I pull apart rapidly. That was close. "What's taking you guys so long?" he asked frowning in confusion.
"I couldn't find my bag." I lied quickly. Trent could be getting suspicious.
"Whatever, come on lets go." After sharing a quick look of relief, Grant and I followed my brother outside towards Trent's car.

I hate girls like her.
Entitled.
Delicate.
And still—
Still.
The image of her standing in the doorway, clutching her cardigan tighter around her narrow shoulders, trying to smile through the awkwardness, won’t leave me.
Neither does the memory of Tyler. Leaving her here without a second thought.
I shouldn’t care.
I don’t care.
It’s not my problem if Tyler’s an idiot.
It’s not my business if some spoiled little princess has to walk home in the dark.
I’m not here to rescue anyone.
Especially not her.
Especially not someone like her.
She’s not my problem.
And I’ll make damn sure she never becomes one.
But when my eyes fell on her lips, I wanted her to be mine.
Bound by the Dragon Mafia
The head chef looked like he was silently praying for death.
I rushed forward. “Amara. Stop traumatizing these poor people.”
She spun around, delighted. “Sera! Good, you’re here. Taste this. It’s missing despair.”
The chef’s face morphed into existential crisis.
I grabbed her arm. “Put the spatula down.”
“But—”
“Down.”
With exaggerated offense, she dropped the spatula and muttered, “Fine. But if no one here has artistic vision, that’s not my fault.”
She went undercover to expose a mafia empire.
He offered her thirty nights to save her life.

The Unwritten Princess
My name is Mia, and everything I touch is dying.
The flowers beneath my mother's window turned black overnight. The herbs I gathered at dawn rotted in my hands. When the court wizard finally told me the truth—that someone cursed me, that my presence would kill everyone I love—I realized the prophecy everyone believed was never meant to save the kingdom. It was meant to destroy me.
So I ran. Not to fulfill some destiny, but to survive it.
Now I'm traveling with a hunter who lost his companions to the same curse I carry, chasing fragments of a prophecy the Fae sing differently. An elf took a baby from the palace the night I was born. And somewhere between the lies I've been told and the truth I'm hunting, I'm starting to suspect: What if I'm not the princess from the prophecy at all?
COLD (Ruthless Player)
“Please… Nick, wait.” He pulled out, thrusted back in. “How much? Twenty thousand? Fifty? Hundred?” With every question, he thrust harder and harder. My neurons are frying with the confusing feeling in my brain. Torn between pleasure, fear, and panic. I couldn't utter a single sentence to save my life.
His cold eyes pinned me in place while he plundered my body with deep thrusts, which only added to my confusion. My dumb body mistook the mixed signals, my pussy becoming even wetter than before.
“I hope she'd paid you well, because I'm going to fuck you all night long, hard,” he growled. “Sleep, then do it all over again. I want to feel you come for me, Andrea, want to feel you squeeze my cock, milking me.
Begging for me to give you the high only I can, I'm going to fucked you until I fuck all my wife's money's worth, I want you to remember how hard I took you while you're meeting her.” I sobbed, moaned, and tried to scramble out under him.
“No, please…Nick, let….let me explain.” Nick abruptly pulled out. His eyes were cold but hooded.

Her mission was simple: get close, seduce him, find the proof, and disappear. Instead Andrea finds herself exposed—cornered into signing a contract that binds her to Nicklaus's side as his lover. I Found the Babies
"When..." He growled in my ear, "When we will be getting married, I will be your only king, do you get my point? Only one queen, no misters or mistresses. Just me, just you, and yeah, our babies."
I shivered.
Alyssa Reynolds found herself in a situation, while returning home from work, and she had three choices:
Simply walk away and forget that you ever heard the sound of wailing infants.
Call the police and inform them about the innocent wails.
Follow the sounds of the wails and take the matter in your hands, deciding what to do later.
Being a kindhearted soul and a sucker for babies, she found herself choosing the third option, finding the two little lives.
Two little lives that changed her whole life, her love life included. Her life now revolved around the babies as diapers, vomit and shit seemed to surround her.
Just when she thought that now it's just her and the babies, her whole world flipped over and she found herself living under the same roof as the egotistical, obnoxious and hot-as-hell Terence Powers, the business tycoon who was not going to let the woman fend off for herself and the babies alone.
