Introduction
Elowen asked the man standing before her. However, instead of answering, he tightened his grip around her neck and pressed his fangs against her skin as he spoke.
“I should be the one asking you that. How did you get into my palace?"
“I don't know! Why am I here?”
Elowen turned her head and looked around the room. A luxurious chamber filled with a powerful royal atmosphere stretched out before her eyes.
That was when she realized she was inside the territory of the Silver Moon Pack.
The magnificent room before her belonged to Alpha King Darius, the ruler of the Silver Moon Pack and the most powerful Alpha King on the entire continent.
Quickly, Elowen pulled the blanket around herself and wrapped it tightly around her body.
“How is it possible for me to be inside this palace? An ordinary human like me could never enter werewolf territory so easily.”
Alpha King Darius was notorious for his ruthless treatment of anyone who dared to trespass into his residence. Elowen realized that her life was now in grave danger.
Her heart pounded violently as the Alpha's golden eyes fixed upon her. The overwhelming dominance radiating from him made it difficult for Elowen to breathe.
Would Elowen manage to survive in the presence of the Alpha feared by every werewolf pack?
Or would she meet the end of her life within the walls of the Silver Moon Palace?
Chapter 1
“Damn it! Why does my body feel so hot? Why does my head hurt so much?”
Elowen held her head, trying to clear her muddled thoughts.
She could barely remember anything. The only thing she recalled was drinking the juice her stepsister had given her. After that, she suddenly woke up in a strange room she did not recognize.
A large man approached Elowen. He bent down toward her while she sat on the bed, clutching her throbbing head.
“So, you finally came to my room, darling!”
The man moved closer, but Elowen immediately backed away.
“Hey, don’t come near me! I don’t want you to touch me!”
Elowen shouted at the man standing before her as he tried to touch her face.
“I paid a fortune for you, darling. Don’t resist if you want me to be nice!” the man whispered in her ear in a teasing tone.
“Hey, I’m not a woman who sells herself! I have never sold myself!” Elowen said firmly, warning him.
The man smiled with satisfaction at Elowen’s words, but he was not about to obey her so easily.
“Maybe you don’t know this, darling, but I paid a very high price to make you my wife. Your mother accepted all my money, and she agreed to let me marry you!”
“Damn it! They set me up!”
Elowen refused to let her fate end tragically in the hands of the stranger before her. She would not allow her mother and stepsister to win.
As the man became increasingly shameless, Elowen realized he was dangerous and obsessed with her.
If he managed to get his hands on her, her future would be ruined.
She quickly grabbed a bottle from the table and smashed it over the man’s head, causing blood to flow.
Without hesitation, Elowen ran out of the room.
The man’s subordinates immediately chased after her. Elowen kept running until her feet carried her to a dark castle that no human dared enter.
Still weakened by the effects of the drug tormenting her body, Elowen unknowingly wandered deeper into the castle.
When she pushed open a door, she saw a man who appeared to be struggling to control himself.
That day was the Night of the Red Moon.
The most significant night for werewolves, as their wolf instincts became far stronger than usual.
However, because Alpha King Darius had refused to take a mate for many years, he had been forced to endure the suffering of suppressing his wolf instincts on his own.
Elowen stumbled and nearly fell just as the man stood in the middle of the room.
The scent surrounding Elowen immediately caught his attention.
Darius’s golden eyes fixed on her at once.
“Do you know the risk of entering my chamber?” Darius asked as he steadied Elowen to keep her from falling.
“Sir... my body feels so hot...” Elowen whispered weakly, barely able to endure the effects of the drug still coursing through her system.
Darius could smell the scent of the drug on the girl.
He immediately realized that someone had set her up.
Seeing Elowen trembling and nearly unconscious, Darius could no longer remain indifferent.
He lifted Elowen and carried her to a safe place to rest.
For some reason, he found himself drawn to Elowen and unable to ignore the presence of the stranger before him.
This was the first time Alpha Darius had not rejected a woman.
Normally, he always turned away any woman who tried to tempt him.
But tonight, he felt an unusual desire to stay close to Elowen, even though he knew she was a hybrid-blooded werewolf and, in the eyes of many, not considered a suitable match for an Alpha.
Eventually, both of them managed to overcome the difficult night.
Darius allowed Elowen to rest in his castle.
Darius was the Alpha King of the Silver Moon, a ruler who had lived for hundreds of years. He was the leader of the strongest werewolf pack on the entire continent.
No human had ever dared set foot inside his castle. Anyone who entered without Darius’s permission usually faced severe punishment.
For years, Darius had searched for a woman who was truly right for him. He did not want someone who sought only his power and status.
Whenever the Night of the Red Moon arrived, Darius chose to suppress his instincts, no matter how painful it was.
When Elowen finally opened her eyes, she was startled to see Darius standing not far away.
“Hey, who are you?” Elowen asked nervously.
Instead of answering, Darius stared at her coldly.
“Human, how dare you enter my castle?” Darius demanded.
Elowen looked around and finally realized where she was.
She had entered the territory of the Silver Moon, the werewolf kingdom ruled by Alpha King Darius, a ruler feared for his power and cruelty.
Only then did Elowen realize that this mistake could cost her life.
“I’m sorry, Your Majesty Alpha Darius! I didn’t mean to enter your territory. I was set up yesterday!”
Darius was not quick to believe Elowen’s words.
“Do you know the consequences for a human who dares to enter my castle?”
Elowen’s face immediately turned pale.
“I’m sorry, Your Majesty. I didn’t mean to. Please let me live... don’t kill me!”

Alpha Caden Blackwell believed those words would break me. That after three years of marriage marked by silence, humiliation, and quiet rejection, I would fear a life without him.
I did once.
As the Luna of the Shadowcrest Pack, I gave everything to a man my wolf recognized as her mate, enduring whispers, cold stares, and a pack that never truly accepted me. I stayed because I believed love required endurance. Because I believed patience would one day be rewarded.

Caden does not know the woman who walked away. He still sees the Luna who waited, who forgave, who loved without limits. He does not see Nova Ashton, a woman capable of rebuilding her identity and claiming a future on her own terms.
