Introduction
“No,” Kai whispered, shaking his head. His voice wavered, betraying his fear. “I-I don’t belong to anyone.”
The wild-looking Alpha snorted, crossing his arms. “You’re in neutral territory, little Omega. That’s a bold move for someone unclaimed. Did you really think no one would notice?”
Kai swallowed hard. “I didn’t mean to—”
“You don’t need to explain yourself,” the third Alpha interrupted, his voice smooth and soothing. He tilted his head, studying Kai intently. “But you can’t deny it, can you? You feel it, just like we do.”
“Feel what?” Kai asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
The first Alpha stepped closer, his gaze never leaving Kai’s. “The bond.”
Kai’s heart pounded in his chest. The air between them was electric, charged with an energy he didn’t understand but couldn’t ignore.
“No,” he said again, his voice shaking. “I don’t want this. I don’t want any of you!”
He turned to run, but the wild Alpha was faster. In the blink of an eye, he appeared in front of Kai, blocking his path.
“Not so fast, sweetheart,” he said with a dangerous grin. “You can’t run from fate.”
Chapter 1
The forest was alive with the sounds of night—crickets chirping, leaves whispering in the cool wind, and the faint rustle of animals moving through the underbrush. Kai clutched his tattered cloak tightly around him, his sharp senses on high alert. He wasn’t supposed to be here. Neutral territory was forbidden for someone like him, an unclaimed Omega without a pack. Kai could be an easy target for any Werewolf or other supernatural. He needed to get out of the neutral territory as fast as he could or he might not be alive to see tomorrow.
His breath came out in soft clouds as he crouched near a stream, cupping his hands to drink. The icy water slid down his throat, but it did little to calm the fire of hunger in his belly. He hadn’t eaten in days, too afraid to venture into pack lands where Alphas ruled with iron fists and Omegas like him were little more than tools for reproduction and service.
The thought made him shiver. His parents had died protecting him from being taken by a ruthless Alpha years ago, and since then, Kai had learned to live on his own, to trust no one. Kai was proud of himself for being able to survive all these years as an Omega Rogue. It wasn't easy but he made it through so far.
Kai has always avoided being out in the Neutral Territory, But tonight, something was different. There was a strange pull in the air, an invisible thread tugging him deeper into the woods.
He stood, brushing his damp hands on his trousers, and hesitated. Every instinct told him to turn back, to return to the small, hidden cave he called home. But his heart beat faster, his wolf stirring restlessly inside him.
‘Go,’ it seemed to be urgent. ‘You belong here.’
Against his better judgment, Kai followed the sensation. The forest grew darker, the trees closing in around him. His feet carried him forward as if possessed, until he reached a small clearing bathed in silver moonlight.
And then he froze.
Three pairs of glowing eyes watched him from the shadows.
Alphas.
Kai’s breath hitched as the figures stepped into the light, their towering forms radiating power and dominance. Each of them was vastly different, yet equally intimidating.
The first was tall and broad-shouldered, with jet-black hair that framed a face of harsh, angular features. His piercing blue eyes locked onto Kai with a mixture of curiosity and possessiveness. This was a man used to being obeyed.
The second Alpha had a wildness to him. His reddish-brown hair was messy, his smirk almost predatory. Scars lined his arms and neck, telling stories of countless battles. His green eyes sparkled with mischief, but there was danger in them, too.
The last Alpha was quieter, his dark blond hair and sharp features softened by an air of mystery. His golden eyes seemed to see straight through Kai, as if peeling away all his layers. He stood slightly apart from the others, his calm demeanor masking a deep intensity.
Kai’s legs trembled. He had never felt such an overwhelming presence and aura before, let alone three at once. His wolf whimpered in his chest, torn between fear and submission.
“An Omega,” the first Alpha said, his deep voice laced with authority. He took a step forward, and Kai instinctively backed away.
“Our mate!” the second Alpha growled as he lustful stare at Kai.
“Feel what?” Kai asked, trying to act ignorant of the butterflies in his belly, his voice barely above a whisper.
Kai’s wolf surged forward, a mix of panic and defiance. A low growl escaped his throat, surprising even himself. The Alphas stilled, their eyes narrowing in unison.
“Well, well,” the blond Alpha murmured, his lips curving into a small smile. “This Omega has a spark. I like him already.”
Kai’s chest heaved as he glared at them, refusing to let his fear show. “Leave me alone,” he demanded, though his voice trembled.
The first Alpha, the one with the piercing blue eyes, spoke again. “You don’t understand, do you? You’re ours now, little Omega. And nothing will change that.”
Kai’s stomach dropped. He had spent his entire life avoiding Alphas, avoiding this exact moment. And now, he was surrounded by three of them, all claiming him as theirs.
But he wasn’t going down without a fight.
“Over my dead body,” he hissed, before shifting into his wolf and bolting into the forest.
The chase had begun.

When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
