She was so exhausted from running that she couldn't help but stop at the cliff's edge to catch her breath. The only place she could think of to flee after being pursued for three days with nowhere to go was here.

The only sound was that of the gunshot that pierced right through the girl's chest. The shot had such an impact that the young girl staggered and fell right off the cliff.
Her face was plastered with a smile, blood trickled down her lips, and her chest was oozing with blood. This was the end, and she was aware of it. She should have suspected it from the start because, even though she was spoiled, they never spent time with her.
She endured every time they drew blood from her because she wanted to make her family happy. Even when she couldn't recall her childhood, she never asked for anything but hoped for a better future.
If she had suspected and demanded answers, this would have been a painless death. This death proved the one thing she had been refusing to admit since the day she discovered the dark secret her family had been keeping for more than a decade.
