Chapter 1
Beta Ian’s Challenges
In the bustling streets of New York City, I, Beta Ian of the New York Pack of werewolves, fell in love with the girl of my dreams at seventeen years old. Unlike most werewolves, I was born a Beta. The Pack's second-in-command, .A Beta must have better skills than the Alpha because he needs to protect his Alpha at all costs. From the tender age of five, I was raised in the City's heart, surrounded by towering skyscrapers, bustling activities, and the constant hum of traffic. New York is the City I call home. My early life was filled with challenges.
As a Beta werewolf, I was expected to be strong, fiercely loyal, and always ready to defend my Pack. My parents, from Alpha generations, were strict and demanding, pushing me to my limits to ensure I would one day become a capable leader. However, despite their best intentions, I often felt overwhelmed and misunderstood. Like most New Yorkers, their background is migrants coming to the Big Apple for a better life for their families. They relocated in the early 1950s and became the Beta of the New York Pack, which already had an established Alpha generation. They became the Beta generation in their new Pack. Together, our family lived in harmony, supporting each other and building our enterprises to upgrade our Pack for what it is today. Our folks primarily owned Manhattan.
As the years passed, my restlessness grew. I yearned for something more than the concrete jungle that surrounded me. I longed for a connection, a sense of purpose that went beyond the confines of my Pack. Little did I know that fate had something extraordinary in store for me. Sometimes, my longing would take me to various places, but that unquenchable desire to find where and to whom I belong haunted me for years.
On a fateful night when I turned seventeen, I wandered through the City, seeking solace in the woods beyond all the business. Then, I caught a faint odour that stirred something deep within me. Following my instincts, I traced the smell to a stream where young ladies were shouting and playing with no concerns for danger or peril that could come upon them unexpectedly.
In this stream, I saw a young woman named Isabella, my abused fated mate. Isabella had been living a life of torment and pain all her young life, trapped in an abusive family relationship. Her spirit had been broken, and her hope shattered. But when I looked at her, I knew deep down that I had found my purpose.
With an assertive determination, I vowed to protect Isabella and help her heal from the scars of her past. I became her silent guardian, watching over her from the shadows and ensuring her safety. Slowly, with my unwavering support and love, Isabella began to find the strength to break free from her subconsciousness of an abused child and reclaim her life.
As a teenager, I knew Isabella wanted to find herself, her identity and if she still had biological parents. My love for her allowed her to go on a quest to find out if her identity lies in France; although we were far apart, she visited the Pack every holiday, and our relationship grew more assertive.
As our bond grew more powerful, I discovered Isabella possessed a strength and resilience that matched mine. Together, we embarked on a journey of healing and self-discovery, overcoming traumas and building a future.
Word of our remarkable story spread throughout the City, captivating the hearts and minds of all who heard it. Isabella and I became an inspiration, a symbol of hope for those who had lost their way. Our tale reminded everyone that love and determination can triumph over adversity, even in the darkest times.
I encountered many challenges, but the worst of them all was when my Fated Mate was unconscious and hospitalised, and I could not get to her. Living without her was worse than I could have imagined.
And so, as you read this tale of how a young Isabella and I continued to write our story, filled with courage, compassion, and the unwavering strength of our love. Our journey, forever etched in the hearts of those who heard it, served as a reminder that sometimes, the most extraordinary adventures begin with the simplest acts of kindness and the power of an unbreakable bond.

Alpha Nicholas's Little Mate
What? No—wait… oh Moon Goddess, no.
Please tell me you're joking, Lex.
But she's not. I can feel her excitement bubbling under my skin, while all I feel is dread.
We turn the corner, and the scent hits me like a punch to the chest—cinnamon and something impossibly warm. My eyes scan the room until they land on him. Tall. Commanding. Beautiful.
And then, just as quickly… he sees me.
His expression twists.
"Fuck no."
He turns—and runs.
My mate sees me and runs.

Once they are brought to him he finds himself once again facing his mate and discovers that she's hiding secrets that will make him want to kill more than one person.

He would do anything to claim her, protect her and cherish her no matter the cost.
From vengeful ex-lovers, pack politics, species prejudice, hidden plots, magic, kidnapping, poisoning, rogue attacks, and a mountain of secrets including Catherine's true parentage there is no shortage of things trying to tear the two apart.
Despite the hardships, a burning desire and willingness to trust will help forge a strong bond between the two... but no bond is unbreakable. The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

The War God Alpha's Arranged Bride
Yet Alexander made his decision clear to the world: “Evelyn is the only woman I will ever marry.”
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
