Chapter 1
Julia Louis turned the doorknob of the hotel room, and it gave way. She was at work just a few minutes ago when she received a message from an unknown number.
At first, she ignored the message, but a picture came in right after and she decided to just check it out. She tried her husband's number as she drove to the hotel but he didn't answer the phone.
As she walked inside the room, her heartbeat increased with each step taking her closer to finding out the truth.
When she was finally able to see the bed clearly, her heart shattered and ached so much. Her husband was in the arms of her best friend and they were sleeping peacefully.
She stayed up the night before and waited for Dylan Gerald, her husband to return home but who knew he was in the arms of another woman? Her best friend at that.
As the thought clouded her mind, she turned around and left as quietly as she came.
Throughout the rest of the day, she couldn't concentrate at work but she tried hard to control her emotions in front of the workers.
She was working on a wedding dress before she left and had to submit it before the end of the day so she didn't have time to think about what she saw that morning.
At the hotel
Dylan opened his eyes at exactly 4 p.m. that evening. He looked around the room in confusion and sat up.
"Where am I?" he thought to himself.
Before he could have a chance to think, the door opened and Nicole came in.
"Nicole? Why are you here?" Dylan asked in surprise
"You don't remember? You were drunk last night so I brought you here. I don't want Julia to misunderstand us so I didn't take you home" Nicole, Julia's best friend said
"There's no way she would have misunderstood anything. I didn't go home yesterday so which one do you think will create more misunderstanding? Anyway, I have to go now" Dylan said and got down from the bed
"Where is my phone?" he asked Nicole after he was done wearing his clothes.
"Here it is." he collected the phone and checked the time.
"N... Nicole, what's wrong with my time? Why is it not correct?" he stuttered
"It's not correct? What is it saying?" Nicole asked
"Past 4. Can you please tell me the correct time?" he pleaded
"I think the time is correct. Yes, that's the correct time" Nicole said after checking the time.
"How is it possible that I slept since last night until now? And why didn't you wake me up?" Dylan asked
"I tried waking you up but you refused to wake up. You were drunk last night so I thought you needed more rest" Nicole said
Dylan stared at her for a while and left the hotel. He dialed Julia's number as he was going out of the hotel but she didn't pick up the call.
Within a few minutes, he arrived at her company and hurried to her office where he met her busy with work.
"Julia, how are you doing?" Dylan asked nervously
"I'm fine. What about you? What are you doing here?" Julia asked without looking at him
"I came to pick you up but I'll wait for you in the car since you are still busy," he said with a nervous smile and left her office.
After Julia finished her work, she went to the parking lot and went home in Dylan's car.
Julia prepared dinner and returned upstairs to meet Dylan who was still very anxious because of her attitude.
"Dinner is ready. Go and take your bath" Julia said
"Okay" Dylan turned around to leave but Julia's question stopped him.
"Where were you last night?" she asked.
"L...last night?" Dylan stuttered
"I had some work to do so I stayed at my friend's place. I'm sorry for not telling you about it beforehand" he said
"You spent the night at your friend's place? Is that the truth? If you are worried about how I'll feel, then don't worry. Just tell me where you honestly were last night" Julia said
"I really was at my friend's place. Did someone say anything to you?" Dylan asked
"No, I only wanted to be sure. You can take your bath now" Julia said
After Dylan went into the bathroom, Julia changed the clothes she just bought and took her cards. She dropped the letter she had prepared and left the house.
Dylan came out of the bathroom and didn't see her in the room. At first, he thought she was downstairs but he went there and didn't see her.
He returned upstairs and started calling her but she refused to pick up the call and that was when he saw her letter.
"By the time you will be reading this, I must have left already. It seems you are not happy being with me and I don't want to force myself on you. Live your life happily with who you truly love from now on and forget about me. Bye" the letter read.
Dylan threw the paper to the floor and picked up his car keys. He drove roughly to the places that Julia visited frequently but he couldn't get there because his car was hit by a truck.
Julia, on the other hand, went to a club. The scene from that morning refused to leave her head no matter how hard she tried so she decided to get herself drunk. At least she will forget about everything for tonight and start anew the next day.
As she was drinking her sorrows away, a guy was staring at her intently from one side of the room and was taking note of her every move which Julia was oblivious to.
When the man was sure she was fully drunk and was no longer in her right senses, he walked up to her and took her to a room.
"Who are you?" Julia asked after they were in the room
"I'm your saviour," the stranger said and pushed her to the bed
He unzipped her gown and took it off after which he took off all his clothes too.
"What are you doing? Let go of me" Julia said and pushed him with all her strength.
The push had no effect on him as she was currently drunk and also wasn't physically strong.
"You don't have a choice this night. Just have sex with me and we'll be good." the man smirked and took off her pants and bra.
He kissed her lips, but Julia bite him so hard that he had to pull away from the kiss. He became outraged and made her lie face down on the bed.
He didn't think twice before thrusting hard and deep inside her and Julia let out an agonizing scream.
He made sure to f**k her mercilessly until she passed out and he left her alone after he was done.

On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

Oops, Wrong Girl to Bully
My back hit the desk. Pain exploded through my skull.
"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.
Someone... please...

Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human
A Lesson in Magic
Claimed by the Alpha's Love
Four years ago, Fiona's meticulously planned conspiracy turned me from an ordinary omega into a prisoner carrying the weight of a murder charge.
Four years later, I return to a world that has changed beyond recognition.
My best friend Fiona, who is also my stepsister, has become the perfect daughter in my mother's eyes. And my ex-boyfriend, Ethan, is about to hold a high-profile mating ceremony with her.
The love, family bonds, and reputation that I once cherished have all been taken by Fiona.
Just when I had reached my breaking point, questioning the very purpose of my existence, the legendary Alpha Lucas of Moonhaven suddenly appeared in my life.
He is powerful and enigmatic, a figure that all werewolves hold in awe.
Yet, he shows an extraordinary persistence and tenderness towards me.
Is Lucas's appearance a gift from fate, or the start of another conspiracy?
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
