Introduction
"Hmm…" She moved her head sideways, still inside the dream I created for us. "Aki…hmm…ohhh…"
My heart stole a beat when I heard her say my name. I closed my eyes and inhaled deeply. When I opened my eyes, she was still moaning about my name.
I found myself sniffing her hair until my mouth reached for her neck. I licked it…positioning my fangs…
Akihiro is a pureblood vampire who has been living for a hundred years. He is the next in line to be the King of the Vampires so through the years he focused on being the greatest of all pureblood vampires and trained himself. His family has been ruling an Old Town in the countryside where they built a day class and night class, dividing the vampires and humans.
Alicia is a normal university student, top of her class, soon to be doctor, and a part of the drama club where Akihiro formed it. Her family moved to the Old Town when she was in high school due to some personal reasons she isn’t aware of. But, soon she will find out that it is all connected to Akihiro, the man she hates.
Falling in love with a human is forbidden especially when he is the next king of the pureblood vampire. Well, if that was the case, Akihiro is willing to let go of his throne. However, Alicia is no ordinary human. She is the daughter of the strongest vampire hunter clan who had been their family's rival for a thousand years. Will their love with each other win or is it still their blood against their beating heart?
Chapter 1
ALICIA
“Aaaaaaaah!”
“Notice us, our Prince!”
“Go on a date with me, Aki!”
The university girls were lining up again screaming the name of the men from the night class as they passed the bridge that’s connecting the day class and the night class building. It’s a normal scene in our university after the sun has set. I still couldn’t get used to it and I cannot understand why these girls, who are mostly freshmen, are wasting their voice trying to get the attention of the night class when it was evident that they don’t stand a chance.
There’s a reason why our class is divided into day and night. Our university is the most prestigious university in the country and a lot of students will do everything just to get in. But, not all are capable of getting in. The main requirements should be intelligence. Money and fame should come next but we live in a world where life is unfair.
The school still values intelligence but they prioritize those with money and fame, thus creating the night class. To make it short, night classes are students with special treatment as they came from well-known families. While the day class are just normal people like us who barely survive. Although, I really don’t care about it. I just want to study and these girls are blocking my way.
I checked my watch. I have to attend a club meeting right now. I am already late since my professor dismissed the class a bit later than usual, he got mad at some of my students for breaking the rules. Now, I am suffering. Ugh!
I tried to fit myself in the crowd, hugging my things, bumping into their shoulders, saying excuse me, but they seemed to be hypnotized by the men they were looking at. What the hell is wrong with these ladies? Since I couldn’t get out, I retraced my steps and decided to break the rules by taking the route that only the night class is allowed to take. But, that’s the least of my concern because the president of our club is definitely scarier than the rules.
I was panting as I reached for the door. Before I could open it, a hand reached for the knob and opened it. When I looked up, it was Akihiro, the cold heartless President of the Theater and Film Production Club in our university. Apparently, he is the only night class member of our club and the rest of us are from the day class. I actually don’t know why he joined our club when he was supposed to be studying this time.
“Is there any progress with the script?” He asked. I could feel his stare on me, but I didn’t dare look at him as he’s intimidating and it felt like he’s killing me with his looks. We’ve been together in the club for three years, but I never got used to his almond-shaped eyes.
“Uh, no.” I honestly replied. “You just gave it to me yesterday and I got so busy with my projects that I–”
Akihiro cut me off, he’s been doing that for the last few years and I've hated him since.
“Is that even an excuse?” He raised his arched brow, making him more intimidating than he was before.
“Well, it’s not an excuse, but it is the truth,” I reasoned out while the rest of the group were exchanging looks, perhaps not knowing what to do with the two of us. We were always like this and I can say that among all the day class students I am the only one who doesn’t fantasize about this man.
Who cares if he is the epitome of perfection when he’s cold and heartless?
“Tch.” He mocked me. “I don’t care about it. You are the scriptwriter of this club, thus, you must meet the deadline so if I say that tomorrow is the deadline, it will be tomorrow. Otherwise, we won’t have any film to present at the festival and it will be your fault.”
“It will not be my fault if you just accept the script I had made and not change it when you know we have only three weeks to prepare!” I raised my voice, trying to calm myself, but I just hated every bit of him.
I am not sure when I started hating him, but I just woke up hating him because I hate him…and his words and lack of respect with other people. He’s insensitive!
“And, how am I supposed to write a vampire-themed story when I don’t even know about vampires!” I rolled my eyes. The amount of stress this guy is giving me is so insane that I don’t want to think about it. “They don’t even exist!”
Not because he’s the President, he can just order me like that. He also needs beating sometimes because my clubmates are just giving on with his orders easily just because he is from the night class and we are from day class.
“Then, I’ll give you the pleasure of knowing them.” Akihiro stood up, signaling the rest of the members to go home. “You can go home and she will stay.”
“What?” I creased my brows. “Why will—-”
“The professors are expecting the script by tomorrow, so you need to finish it tonight. I have a class, so I will leave you here and come back another hour to deal with you and the script!” He said, while the rest of my clubmates are already walking out.
“Also, we need to have an audition for the club tomorrow as we lack members. We are only 25 now. Convince more to join us! You are also the Vice President of this club.” He ordered me.
“How can I convince them when the club has an evil president,” I scoffed, bringing out my things so I can start doing the script.
“What did you say?”
“Uh, nothing. Get out! I’ll start writing and I need time to be alone…” I said, not looking at him.
He stood there for a second until I felt his presence gone…and my whole body rested calmly. I always felt the need to be on guard whenever he’s there and I don’t know why. He’s suffocating me.
I did my research for half an hour about vampires so I can write a better story. I originally wrote a horror story for our film as it also relates to the gothic theme of our university festival, however, he rejected it telling me that vampires seem to fit that genre. So, now I have to write a typical love vampire love story where a vampire falls in love with a human.
After several hours, I wrote the first part of the story and finished the outline. However, I couldn’t wait for him any longer as I need to catch the last bus trip or I won’t be able to get home.
I only have five minutes but it usually takes me 15 minutes from our building to the main gate and I won’t make it in time. I hate how our university is so wide. I checked my watch upon leaving the club room. There’s no longer students roaming around except for the night class who’s having their class right now.
I know this is against the rule but the only way for me to arrive at the bus stop at the exact time is to take the Woods of Dracula where only night class can enter. I took a deep breath as I entered the arch going inside the woods. I felt terrified for a moment, but I ignored it and kept my face a little bit faster.
It’s dark and the only thing that’s giving me light is the full moon from above. I was halfway through the woods when I felt like someone was staring at me. It creeped me out and paralyzed me for a second. Just when I was about to move when I heard someone moaning. I thought it was for a pleasurable act but as seconds passed…the sounds seemed to be in pain.
I don’t know what had gotten into me that I entered the woods instead of just taking the path out of this terrifying place. But, then I realized that my curiosity will definitely kill me so I retraced my steps...only that it’s too late.
“Akihiro…” I whispered, covering my mouth in shock, as my heart was pounding in my chest.
Even though it was dark, his tall, well-built muscle, and his fragrance of dried peaches was already enough for me to know that it was him. He was leaning on the neck of the girl whom I don’t recognize. I wouldn’t care as I never cared for him at all. And, it’s his life so whatever pleases his sexual desire is none of my business.
However, my whole body stiffened when he lifted his face to look at me, with his teeth dripping with blood…and his crimson eyes devouring my soul.

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
Oops, Wrong Girl to Bully
My back hit the desk. Pain exploded through my skull.
"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.
Someone... please...
