“Death to the firstborn.”
Can Caoimhe face her destiny the moment it arises?
Chapter 1
Odin POV:
Hunger.
My palm slid against her waist as I buried my head against the curve of her slender neck, her scent engulfed my senses as her heat overwhelmed my mind. Her dyed blonde hair grazed against my lips as I nipped at her reddened neck, a neck that I could easily crush between my strong jaws or I could choose to claim it.
I chose neither, instead, I roughly sucked on her neck until the blood vessels burst, forming red love bites. No, I would not claim this woman no matter how many times she begged me. My beast enjoyed her begging during these times as it was the only time, she could keep her mouth shut for more than a minute.
“Odin!” Essen moaned sweetly within my ear causing the blood within my chest to boil.
I ground my teeth together anxiously as I slowly began to lose control over my beast, a beast who had conquered this woman many times. I felt as if I were bursting at the seams as the untamed beast within me stirred and demanded to be released. He was determined to ravage the madwoman before him, to teach her who her Alpha was, to brutally punish her for all the times she talked back to him.
Essen's hands roamed down my bare chest until her graceful fingertips sought their mark. She released the button to my jean’s with ease as she hooked her index fingers around the belt loops and gleefully tugged at the material until the hemline slowly revealed what she had been aiming for. I watched amusement as her eyes lit up from excitement as each inch exposed more skin until my hardened member finally sprang forth from its confined and greeted her with a wet tip.
Essen barely took the time to look up at me before she eagerly took the head within her mouth and immediately thrust her mouth down to the base. I bit my lip slightly as my enlarged member hit the back of her throat. A deep growl erupted from my chest as she resisted allowing my erect member to plunge its way down her throat until she gagged on it.
I placed my hands on the back of her head as she attempted to resist and pull away.
“No!” My beast said in a deep and commanding voice as my deep blue eyes unsteadily flickered to a golden colour as I fought my beast for control.
There was a war brewing within myself every time the damnable woman came into heat, it was the one time during the month that I despised. It was the only time that I could not avoid her, instead she happy got her way with me as I succumbed to my instincts. The pheromones radiated from Essen stronger than ever as she was at the prime age to be impregnated, only I was not willing to give in.
I wanted to throw her against the wall and fuck the one place she refused me entry, I wanted to pin her firm breasts against the wall as I shoved my hardened cock up her rear end and rejoice in her abrupt screams of pleasure mixed with pain.
Mate, the word recited itself within my mind, the words having a hold over me as I drowned out Essen’s greedy lips on my cock.
My beast roared within my mind as the world from around me suddenly grew still and quiet, nothing moved or made a sound as the leaves seemed to stop in time. The air around us grew dense and cold as if death were lingering in the air. I suddenly looked down as I finally noticed Essen had stopped sucking on my enlarged member, something that was unlike her. She would never stop something once she got her way; it was the bitch within her, and it drove her mad sometimes.
My eyes traced her jawline questioningly as she stood still, not even a breath entered her nose as she held my shaft with my tip lingering just past her tips. She was completely still, almost lifeless just like our surroundings. Something was unnerving about the still and chilled air as I shifted my head to the side, looking towards a never-ending sky.
I absentmindedly pulled away from her, pulling my jeans back up and tucking my erect member uncomfortably away. Essen didn’t move a muscle as if frozen in place as I took a step away from her, her mouth remained parted with her hand hovering in the air as I turned my back to her and stared off into the distance.
Come to me.
The sweet and angelic voice rang through my ears as clearly as if the mysterious woman were standing before me. My mind slowly grew blank as I took a step forward without thinking about where my feet were taking me. My deep blue eyes steadily glazed over as something took hold of me. My body felt relaxed as I allowed it to manipulate my every movement, my breaths were deep and controlled as the air suddenly turned sweet the further north I wandered.
A beautiful woman’s face was forming within my mind, the details were blurry as her icy blue eyes stared deep within my soul. Her irises reminded me of the icy flavored that inhabited the lands to the north, lands that had been forbidden to the people of Thallyn for years. They were cold and desolate, nothing thrived there, and nothing could survive for exceedingly long.
The gods forsake the land of Thallyn the moment they created the earthly planes and for that, we have grown to despise them and curse their very existence.
The air grew colder as the barren land eventually turned to snow with icicles adorning the thin branches of the elder trees that inhabited the north. I gazed forward in an almost hypnotic state as my surroundings tore past me in a blinding blur. Days seemed to turn into nights with the sky revealing new constellations with the old ones dying out after many centuries.
The bright moon above me eventually faded revealing the true beauty of the sky as the world became a blur of white and golden. Everything that had existed was now dead and long gone as my feet continued to walk upon nothing but what had once been air.
A piercing pain soured through my arm and into my chest as I was violently torn from the visions, I felt shaken to the core by what I had just witnessed as the world seemed to go back to normal. I found myself on my knees, my fist had plunged into the thickened ice, breaking the frozen sea into shards that tore through my skin. I buried my fish under the frigid waters and desperately reached down as if grasping for something.
It was at that moment that I realized that I was at the edge of the Dead Sea, a sea that was said to be cursed until the end of time, nothing lived here and the current beneath the thick ice remained stuck in time. I grunted from the pain of the cold, only holding my breath once I felt something grasp my hand from under the current.
The current of the Dead Sea.

"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."

Alpha Nicholas's Little Mate
What? No—wait… oh Moon Goddess, no.
Please tell me you're joking, Lex.
But she's not. I can feel her excitement bubbling under my skin, while all I feel is dread.
We turn the corner, and the scent hits me like a punch to the chest—cinnamon and something impossibly warm. My eyes scan the room until they land on him. Tall. Commanding. Beautiful.
And then, just as quickly… he sees me.
His expression twists.
"Fuck no."
He turns—and runs.
My mate sees me and runs.

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The War God Alpha's Arranged Bride
Yet Alexander made his decision clear to the world: “Evelyn is the only woman I will ever marry.”
Falling for my boyfriend's Navy brother
"What is wrong with me?
Why does being near him make my skin feel too tight, like I’m wearing a sweater two sizes too small?
It’s just newness, I tell myself firmly.
He’s my boyfirend’s brother.
This is Tyler’s family.
I’m not going to let one cold stare undo that.
**
As a ballet dancer, My life looks perfect—scholarship, starring role, sweet boyfriend Tyler. Until Tyler shows his true colors and his older brother, Asher, comes home.
Asher is a Navy veteran with battle scars and zero patience. He calls me "princess" like it's an insult. I can't stand him.
When My ankle injury forces her to recover at the family lake house, I‘m stuck with both brothers. What starts as mutual hatred slowly turns into something forbidden.
I'm falling for my boyfriend's brother.
**
I hate girls like her.
Entitled.
Delicate.
And still—
Still.
The image of her standing in the doorway, clutching her cardigan tighter around her narrow shoulders, trying to smile through the awkwardness, won’t leave me.
Neither does the memory of Tyler. Leaving her here without a second thought.
I shouldn’t care.
I don’t care.
It’s not my problem if Tyler’s an idiot.
It’s not my business if some spoiled little princess has to walk home in the dark.
I’m not here to rescue anyone.
Especially not her.
Especially not someone like her.
She’s not my problem.
And I’ll make damn sure she never becomes one.
But when my eyes fell on her lips, I wanted her to be mine.
Invisible To Her Bully
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
My Possessive Alpha Twins For Mate
My drunk stepfather remained indifferent, his weight suffocating, making it hard to breathe as my heart raced.
Suddenly, the door slammed open, and two figures burst in.
"Get off her!" a deafening roar echoed.
I didn't expect the twin brothers who'd bullied me at school to come charging in like gods to save me.
After my grandmother passed, I had to move in with my mom and stepdad, who treated me like a servant. I prayed every day for my 18th birthday to come, so l could leave and escape this broken home.

To make matters worse, the Moon Goddess revealed they were both my mates!
After helping me out with my stepdad, my twin mate cornered me, played with my hair, and whispered possessively, "You belong to us, our little mate..."
