Introduction
The slightly smaller wolf was beautiful snow white with a solid black dot over its right eye.
The larger wolf was black with a solid white patch on its right eye.
It is said that the marks belong to the Alpha King and Alpha Queen
Some of the elders knelt down and the crowd quickly follow.
Alcina’s pack was slaughtered by the Blue Moon Pack. She became a slave and was maltreated for years. And she always kept her right eye covered because of the perfectly circular birthmark that graced her eye. People in the blue moon pack told her it was a witch's mark and that it was ugly so she kept it hidden.
Xavier Blackstone is the alpha of the red dawn pack. He's twenty-four and has six months to find his mate before the pack elders assign him one. The goddess had given him a mate, he could feel it. However when he focused on that feeling all he could feel was pain. Where was she? What was happening to his mate? He wanted to find her and shield her from any more hurt. What will he do when he finds her a beaten, broken slave?
Chapter 1
Alcina was waken up by the sharp ring of her alarm. 4:30 time to start her chores. She could still feel the sting of her cuts and gritted her teeth. Last night had been the worst for her, when she broke in to the alphas office to try to escape. Just as she unlocked the silver anklet, the alpha entered the room.
"My, my, my, what's this? Planning on leaving?" He asked her in a sarcastic tone. He eyed he suspiciously and walked around the desk so that she was an arms length away. He sat down and grabbed her wrist pulling it until she was sitting in the floor. Once she was on the ground he kicked out his leg, hitting Alcina in the side of the cheek. She fell to the ground with a light thud.
"Please forgive me alpha. I won't do it again." She said bowing her face to the floor. His only answer was another kick to her gut. He continued to kick her anywhere he could until he was satisfied.
"Today is my son's birthday and I won't have you ruin it." He said kicking her one last time. She lay there not moving when a knock sounded at the door. "Come in."
A maid stepped into the office and looked around the room before landing on her. The maid quickly looked away and turned her attention to the alpha.
"Alpha, Luna is looking for you and the cake just arrived. Where would you like it?" She gave a slight bow before asking.
"In the garden. Luna knows where. Before you go, take that trash with you." He stabbed a finger towards the girl laying on the ground.
"At once alpha." The maid bowed again and grabbed Asilis before leaving the room. "What were you thinking? Trying to leave like that. They'll kill you."
"Better than being here. This isn't living, it's surviving." The girl just shrugged. As they rounded the corner to the kitchen she ran straight into a hard chest and looking up to see the future alpha, Brent.
"How dare you?! Watch what you're doing you little bitch." He snapped before back handing her. He pulled her arm from the maid and pulled her to the basement door before opening it and kicking her down the stairs. No one bothered to come to her aid. Even if it wasn't the alphas son, she didn't come from the pack so they didn't care. Just thirteen years ago her pack was raided by these people. She had to watch in horror as they slaughtered the people she loved. The alpha decided the children would love and be sold off.
Snapping her from her thoughts was a loud crack. She tried to crawl away and Brent wrapped the whip around her ankle with a sickening crack. Grabbing a fist full of hair he pulled her to a pipe and handcuffed her to it. He took a step back and swung the whip. Alcina bit down on her lip as her eyes began to water. It wasn't the first time she had a whip used on her, but the marks from the last time the Luna best her were still sore. Her wolf still hadn't recovered from the silver anklet used to keep her from shifting and so her healing was comparable to that if a normal human.
Brent continued his assault with the whip until her cries were loud enough for the whole house to hear. Asilis heard the whip hit the ground and then the sound of a zipper. She tensed up. It wasn't the first time he violated her. Asilis held in her cries while the future alpha of the pack did what he wanted to her body. Once done he redressed and unlocked the cuffs.
"Goddess willing you aren't my mate. You disgust me." He snapped before kicking her battered back and leaving. She lay there for awhile trying to come to terms with her life.
"We need to leave tonight. We won't survive with him as alpha." Her wolf, Nyx, whispered and faded to the back of her mind again. Alcina lay there for hours before someone opened the door and came into the basement.
"Oh, Alcina. Come on. Let's get you cleaned up. The party will be starting in about an hour." The same maid from this morning stated, helping her stand. They walked silently up to the second floor.
"Jessalyn, I need your assistance with my zipper. Alcina, go clean your disgusting back before guest arrive." The Luna snapped looking out of her dressing room. Asilis carried on walking while jessalyn stayed with the Luna. As she was passing the second floor office she heard her name.
"And Alcina? What the goddess has chosen her as my mate? What then father?" Brent snapped.
"Simple, reject her. I'm sure the goddess will give you another mate. Mistakes happen. Even for the gods." His father answered easily. The thought of rejection hit Asilis and a dull ache spread through her heart. Not because she wanted to be his mate but simply because the goddess gives mates to people whose souls are supposed to be a perfect match. That was the one thing she could remember clearly that her mother said. She pulled herself from the door and went to the common bath to wash the blood off her back. Once she finished she pulled out the first aid kit from under the sink. After placing a large pillow sized gauze on her back she wrapped herself with an ace bandage and dressed in the clothes the maid gave her. It was a navy blue maid uniform complete with a bonnet. As she pinned the bonnet into her hair she looked in the mirror and cringed before pulling her bangs over her right eye. The alpha always made sure to remind her how much they hated her birthmark.
"Happy birthday to me." She mumbled before leaving the bathroom.
"I was just about to come get you. It's time." Jessalyn told her. Jessalyn was the only pack member who acted as though she wasn't a waste of life. They made their way downstairs and into the garden. Standing next to the cake in a single file we're all the slaves and workers of the pack. Those viewed as less than worthy of life. Shortly after the alpha and Luna came out and guest filed into the garden.

George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

A Lesson in Magic
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
