Daisy Stone · Completed · 280.9k Words
Introduction
In the darkness, the man's scorching body pressed against me like a branding iron, his biting kisses forcing my teeth apart, his cock grinding and thrusting into the deepest part of me.
I couldn’t catch my breath, murmuring softly, "Slow down… I can’t take it anymore."
But he acted as if he hadn’t heard, gripping my tense hips and thrusting upward like a madman.
Amid the sticky, wet sounds, the rhythm of flesh colliding grew faster and more urgent…
After the Smith family fell into debt, Scarlett became Richard Gray’s fiancée, only to unexpectedly have a one-night stand with his nephew, Alexander. Their tangled relationships turned her into a pawn in their power struggle. But Scarlett’s true identity was far more complex than it seemed. When she eventually took the head position in the Gray family while pregnant, Alexander, with bloodshot eyes and a smile that stretched to breaking point, asked: "So this was your purpose all along?" Scarlett smiled, taking his hand and pressing it to her abdomen, saying, "Be good. From now on, the game is mine to control!"

Chapter 1
Scarlett's POV
It was too hot. My body had become a burning flame, and only the touch of the man before me could soothe it.
His hands possessed a magical quality—everywhere they touched, my skin trembled.
"You're too tight. Relax so I can give you what you want," he said.
What was he saying?
I couldn't help but press closer, wanting his hands to roam all over my body.
His scorching breath traveled up my neck before capturing my lips.
The kiss deepened until I could barely breathe. The saliva in my mouth was frantically sucked away. This kiss was nothing like Richard's.
So domineering—I had no room to refuse.
I pushed him away with effort, but he pinned me against the wall.
"Don't move," he commanded, his voice low and dangerous.
My heart pounded. This time I finally heard clearly—this wasn't the voice of my fiancé, Richard Gray!
But it was too late. My consciousness grew increasingly foggy.
The increasingly potent scent of pheromones made me dizzy, and I passed out completely.
The next morning, waking up in a disheveled bed, the discomfort in my body instantly reminded me of last night's events.
My fists clenched involuntarily as I recalled that unfamiliar voice. Who was he?
My mind was in chaos. I inadvertently glanced at the clock on the wall—damn! In ten minutes, the servants would come to clean the rooms. I absolutely couldn't be discovered here.
I fled back to my room in panic.
Standing naked before the mirror, I examined the intimate marks covering my body, especially the horrifying patch across my chest.
Last night, I could barely remember how long the man had kept me there.
I only knew that my voice grew hoarse from calling out, yet he wouldn't let me go.
Changing into a high-necked blouse, I patted my face, forcing myself to remain calm.
Downstairs in the dining room, Richard was eating breakfast while reading the newspaper.
"Good morning, Richard," I smiled in greeting.
"Good morning, Scarlett. I had a business engagement last night and wasn't home. Were you scared being alone?" His gaze toward me was exceedingly gentle.
My heart immediately sank completely, no longer able to escape reality. Yesterday was the Gray family dinner, and I came to the Gray house for the first time as Richard's fiancée.
Originally, I had planned to please Richard last night, so that the Smith family's debts and my father Adam Smith's lawsuit could be resolved.
But unexpectedly, Richard wasn't home last night, and I had slept with the wrong person.
If that person wasn't Richard, then who in the Gray family was it?
And if Richard discovered I had slept with someone else, what would happen to the Smith family then?
Thinking of these possibilities, my heart felt as if it had been shot, numbed by pain.
"Scarlett, why do you look so pale?" Richard set down his coffee, looking at me with concern.
"Uh... I forgot to close the window before bed last night. I might have caught a cold," I replied, my thoughts somewhat distant.
At the same time, I felt somewhat relieved that Richard hadn't been home last night.
"You need to take better care of yourself," he said, his hand about to cover mine on the table.
Suddenly, footsteps sounded from the stairway direction. My heart began racing wildly.
The man on the stairs wore a casual shirt . Tall and well-built, his slightly curly brown hair added a touch of sensuality. His collar was slightly open, revealing several obvious scratch marks on his neck.
Even in loose clothing, his triangular physique and toned muscles were fully visible.
Now, he was staring at me with pale blue eyes, his face wearing a meaningful smile.
But more striking than his appearance was the bracelet on his wrist—my bracelet.
I gripped my fork tightly, staring at him hard.
"Good morning, everyone!" His voice was casual, his lips curling into a slight smile as he spoke.
"Ah, you haven't met yet." Richard set down his cutlery. "This is my nephew, Alexander Gray. He was in the military before, just returned from service not long ago. He's been quite helpful at the company."
No wonder I'd never seen him before, not even in photographs.
"Uncle, you're too kind," Alexander sat down across from me.
His eyebrows raised slightly, his gaze flirtatious as he looked at me. "This must be my future little aunt? I've heard so much about you."
"Hello, I'm Scarlett Smith. Pleased to meet you."
I tried to keep my voice steady since Richard was still beside me.
I especially didn't want to arouse Richard's suspicions, considering the scratch marks on Alexander's body were my handiwork.
I thought hatefully, why hadn't I scratched him to death at the time?
I watched as Alexander sat down across from me, his posture impeccable.
During the meal, I noticed his gaze frequently landing on me inadvertently.
Forcing myself to ignore it, I saw him fiddling with the bracelet on his hand.
I pretended to be curious and said, "That's an interesting bracelet. It looks like a woman's accessory." His actions seemed threatening to me, so I thought I'd take the initiative and test him.
Alexander looked at me with a smile and said, "Last night, a little wildcat carried it into my room. I tried to remove the bracelet but got scratched."
His tone was casual as he fabricated this excuse. I immediately felt relieved.
But soon after, my hand involuntarily trembled, nearly knocking over my coffee cup.
Under the tablecloth, a leg was intimately rubbing against mine!
The only person sitting across from me was Alexander.
I looked at him in shock. This bastard was being so brazen!
"Scarlett, are you alright?" Richard's gaze was full of concern.
"I'm fine, just... didn't sleep well. I've finished eating, excuse me."
I turned to leave the table. If I stayed any longer, I might give myself away.
After leaving the dining room, I walked alone in the garden, trying to organize my thoughts.
My phone suddenly rang—it was my mother, Emily Cole.
"Scarlett, darling, were you successful last night? Did Richard mention anything about canceling the debt?" Her voice was full of urgency.
Bitterness filled my heart. I didn't know how to explain the situation to her.
Just as I was about to speak, my phone was suddenly snatched away.
The man directly hung up the call.
I couldn't help but loudly question: "Are you a thief? What right do you have to take my phone?"
The man turned around—it was Alexander.
Watching him approach, I instinctively backed away until my back was against a tree.
"I have the right because I know you spent last night in another man's bed. How do you think Richard would react if he knew?"
My palms were sweating uncontrollably. Was he threatening me with what happened last night?
I closed my eyes and decided to be direct. "Did something happen last night? Unless you admit to having sex with me, how can you prove anything?"

"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."

Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.

Falling For The Biker: The Vice President's Girl
His eyes darken, flicking to my mouth.
"It's wrong. Your brother would slit my throat for just standing this close. But tell me, little bird" his breath ghosts my skin, "are you trembling because you hate me… or because you've wanted this just as much as I have?"
Wren thought she'd buried the chaos of New Orleans for good—the clubs, the blood-soaked loyalties, the men who lived and died by their kuttes. Seattle gave her everything she ever wanted: freedom, love, a future.
But one betrayal shatters it all.
Dragged home by tragedy, Wren finds herself under the watchful eye of Ezra Jax—the Raven Reapers MC's vice president and her brother's best friend. He's infuriating, dangerous, and far too tempting for a man she should never touch.
And the deeper Wren is pulled back into his world, the more she realizes nothing about her past—or about Ezra—is what she believed.
In the chaos of gang wars, mounting debts, and old betrayals, he becomes the one constant. The more she fights him, the harder she falls. And the more he pushes her away, the more lethal his pull becomes.
Because in this world, love isn't sweet.
It's brutal. Bloody.
And it's bound to break them both.
When loyalty is everything and love can cost your life, will Wren risk her heart on the one man she was never meant to love?
