Introduction
Michelle is one of the most beautiful, she's calm and collected, rarely seen but always noticed. She's a high school drop out, her parents are full time drunkards. They have turned that way since her older brother who happens to be their favorite child journeyed passed time.
Michelle applied for a cleaning job at Vincent's headquarters in NYC, she got the job with a very good salary. She was really happy that she would finally start earning and go to college like she always wanted to.
She was tasked to go clean Vincent's office the first day she resumed work. She thought he wasn't going to come in until two hours later, which is the normal time he comes in.
One week into the cleaning job, she found out that the work isn't as easy as she thought. Her head of Department and other workers picked on her a lot, as the youngest worker.
Michelle had the mentality that everyone in that establishment is cruel with Vincent being the cheerleader because of the various rumors she heard about him already.
She had physical contact with Vincent that morning because he came in early. She was really shocked, she fidgeted all through the cleaning process even though Vincent never said a word, he didn't even respond to her greeting.
The day he gave her a lift home was when their lives turned around. It all started as a boss to employee friendship (which Vincent never had with any of his employees) then developed into a full fledged relationship.
Chapter 1
I'm sorry, but I'm not sorry Michelle. You're fired, you can't even explain how a hundred and fifty bucks got missing. You're lucky I didn't call the cops on you, " My boss said.
With my hurting knees and flooded cheeks, I sought for another chance to prove him wrong. I'd never steal from him, no matter how hard the situation at home could be.
Leave now, or I'll change my mind on not calling the cops on you. He threatened.
I left the cafe with a bunch of load in my mind, my eyes must be likened to that of a frog and I didn't make any attempt to hide that. Getting fired from work only means I'll have nothing to survive with anymore.
My parents barely even remember that they still have a child, all they do is to secretly move any money they see and spend it on alcohol.
On getting home, it was exactly what I thought I'd see; my passed out parents in the living room with the door ajar.
I didn't waste any more time, I grabbed my really old laptop and started job hunting. I sent applications to every company I stumbled upon, some of them were in need of an office messenger, others were clerks.
I was about to close the page when I saw an opening in the biggest enterprise in NYC. It was the position of a janitor, I sent my application and necessary documents without a second thought.
Barely five minutes later, I got an email from Vin enterprise that my application for the job of a janitor has been approved.
This can't be true. I only just applied a few minutes ago, how's this even possible? I muttered to myself, without showing any enthusiasm.
"Maybe it's just one of the spam blogs playing tricks on me." I said again, carefully going through the message then another message entered, this time on my mobile phone.
The dress code for tomorrow is blue and black, be at the headquarters by seven am, we don't condone tardiness. Best regards, Vin enterprise.
That was when the real scream broke out of my throat. I screamed till I noticed that it's night already. I've sorne hours going through job hunting that I didn't even check the time.
I slept off with a smile on my face. Working as a janitor really isn't what I really want, but when it's the biggest enterprise in the whole of New York, with a fat salary, it's manageable.

Good morning, I'm Mic- " I was cut off before I could finish the line.
Michelle. I'll give it to you, you're early. I'll do the necessary procedure later, kindly take the elevator to the eighth floor, you're meant to clean the CEOS office. The girl who's meant to do it resigned yesterday. The head of the department said.
I was given the necessary things for cleaning immediately and I took the elevator, going to my first assignment.
When I got to the floor, I met the personal assistant who told me that the CEO would be here in one hour and I needed to be fast.
I was cleaning the chairs when the door opened. The most handsome man I've ever laid my eyes upon came in, he didn't even spare me a glance though I was sure he saw me.
I couldn't look at him for another second but it was so obvious that it was Vincent. I thought the woman said he wouldn't be in till after two hours.
The room suddenly got hotter even though it was hot when I came in at first. The only thing he did was to set a fix at the cleaning materials in my hand and look away.
Good morning sir." Silence.
Well, here we go. I continued cleaning the office, almost dying from the severely reduced oxygen being in the same room with the famous head of Vin enterprise.
When I was done with cleaning, I all but ran out of the office, being in there feels like a seven times heated oven as that man himself looks like he could kill with his looks.
I see you have met him. "The woman said when I got back to where she was before."
My face must be as white as a sheet now out of nervousness. He hadn't said a word and I don't even know him, but the stare and silence was enough to make anyone's heart race.
It's okay, you'll definitely get used to this. I still don't know her name, but she looked like the boss on this floor.
I hope so." I muttered.

After a really strenuous day at work, I was so exhausted that I wondered how I got home with how stressed I was.
Where have you been, wh*re? "My father's slurry voice met my ears immediately I opened the door to the house.
How come the door is even locked, it's always open till I get home at night. Wait, what I should be worried about is the fact that my father is wearing a long face.
I looked up to see him already glaring at me, my mother was by his side, she could barely stand on her own.
I've been out working." I answered.
What now? You got another job or you were just wh*ring around the whole city? He asked, his glare hardened even more.
I sighed, resisting the urge to just walk out on him. I'm really tired of things like these.
I didn't take a new job, we only closed late today. Telling him I got a new job is only going to make their demand for money even higher.
"That's none of my business. What happened to the money in your drawer?" "I needed it and I used it." I replied.
A stinging provocation took over him and his hand went straight to my face, making a resounding sound in the room.
My mother's eyes flew open on hearing the sound, the moment she saw that it was me, she also started glaring hard at me.
I held my cheeks in my hand with pressured streams threatening to roll down my cheeks but I held it back.
You know what?! I'm not going to stand here and watch you both abuse me again! What have I ever done to deserve this? I work my ass out just to make sure you're both comfortable and this is what I get?! I yelled angrily.
Did I just talk back to my parents? I've never done this before no matter how hard the pressure is.
You want to know what you did? "It's that you are alive while your brother died saving you!"

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

The War God Alpha's Arranged Bride
Yet Alexander made his decision clear to the world: “Evelyn is the only woman I will ever marry.”
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
