And then there is the secret Lexi has kept from Dom: the existence of their six-year-old daughter, Emily. Can Lexi protect her daughter from Dom's dark world, or will she have to make a choice between her love for Dom and her duty to protect her child?
Chapter 1
SMOKE'S POV
Stepping off the plane in Oklahoma City, I felt the weight of the past eight years lift slightly. Prison had been a cage, but now I was free, ready to rebuild. The city was unfamiliar territory, a blank slate for my operations.
I hailed a taxi outside the terminal. The driver, a middle-aged guy with a friendly demeanor, greeted me.
"Where to, sir?" he asked.
"Somewhere decent to stay," I replied. "And a bar where I can get a good drink."
He nodded. "I know just the place. Name's Charles, by the way."
"Smoke," I said, settling into the back seat.
As we drove through the city, I noticed an abundance of churches. Their steeples seemed to pierce every other block.
"Lot of churches around here," I remarked.
Charles chuckled. "Yeah, we got more churches than convenience stores. Folks around here like to hedge their bets—pray on Sunday, sin the rest of the week."
I smirked. "Guess that covers all bases."
"So, what brings you to Oklahoma City?" Charles asked, glancing at me in the rearview mirror.
"Business," I said curtly.
What kind of what he asked?
I leaned forward, meeting his gaze in the mirror. "None of your fucking kind of business
He raised his hands in mock surrender. "Fair enough, Smoke. Just making conversation."
"Good," I said, leaning back in the seat, eyes locked on the road ahead. "Drop me at a hotel first. Come pick me up at 6. We’ll hit a bar after that."
Charles glanced at me in the rearview mirror. "Alright, boss. I know a spot. Decent rates, clean sheets, no bed bugs—most days." He grinned, like he’d cracked the funniest joke in the world.
I didn’t laugh. "Just get me there."
The ride was quiet for a while. I watched the city roll by—brick buildings, rundown diners, and way too many churches for one place. Crosses on every other corner like the city was in a constant state of repentance.
Then I saw it—a weed shop beside a pawn shop. Neon-green leaves glowing in the window like a beacon. “Green Haven Dispensary” the sign read. Clean, flashy, and out of place on a block that looked like it hadn’t seen fresh paint in a decade.
leaned forward, tapping Charles on the back of the headrest. "Who owns that spot?"
He glanced at the shop, then gave me a shrug. "Green Haven? No idea, man. Probably some local dude. Why?"
"Who runs the city?" I asked, eyes still locked on the shop as it faded into the distance.
Charles frowned, glancing at me through the rearview mirror. "What you mean, 'who runs the city'?"
I leaned forward, my voice lower, firmer. "Who calls the shots, Charles? Who do people answer to when things get hot? Somebody's always on top."
He blinked a few times, lips pressing into a thin line like he was running through a list of possible answers. "Man, I dunno. This ain’t one of them mafia movies. Folks here just live, work, and try to stay outta trouble."
"Pull over," I said, voice sharp.
Charles glanced at me in the mirror, confused. "What? We ain't at the hotel yet."
"Pull. Over," I said again, slower this time.
He muttered something under his breath but did as he was told, easing the cab to the curb near the dispensary. I didn’t wait for him to ask questions. I was already out of the car, my boots crunching against the gravel-strewn sidewalk. The cold air hit me, sharp and clean, but I barely felt it. My eyes were on that door—Green Haven Dispensary—glowing like an invitation.
Big guy at the door, built like a fridge, stuffing a doughnut in his face. Powdered sugar all over his beard like he’d lost a fight with a bakery. He barely glanced up at me.
“ID,” he grunted, still chewing.
“I’m just here to check out the place,” I said, eyes on the door.
He raised an eyebrow, still chewing slow like I’d said something funny. “Ain’t nobody just checkin’ out a weed shop, man. ID or no entry.” I stepped forward, close enough for him to feel the shift in the air. My eyes locked on his, steady and unblinking. “I said I’m just here to check out the place.”
He stared at me for a second too long, then shrugged like it wasn’t worth the trouble. Hit the button, and I heard the click of the door unlocking.
Inside, the smell hit me like a wall—earthy, sweet, and thick. The air was warmer too, hazy from the smoke hanging in it. Place was cleaner than I expected. Neon lights bouncing off glass display cases filled with weed in every form—buds, gummies, pre-rolls, brownies. Looked more like a candy shop for grown-ups.
A few customers wandered around, slow and aimless, eyes low like they’d already had a taste. Nobody paid me any mind.
I walked straight to the counter. Kid behind it had his head down, thumb swiping up and down on his phone. Hoodie on, headphones around his neck, eyes barely open. I stepped up and let my shadow stretch over him. He glanced up, then went right back to scrolling.
“Welcome to Green Haven,” he muttered, barely looking at me. “Let me know if you need help.”
“I do,” I said, leaning on the counter. “I need to know who owns this place.”
“Owners ain’t here,” he said, eyes still on his phone. “You buying or what?”
I blinked slow. Wrong answer.
Grabbed his hoodie and yanked him forward, hard. His face hit the glass counter with a THUD. Not hard enough to shatter it, but hard enough for his nose to pop. Blood smeared across the glass like a bad paint job.
The store went quiet. Real quiet. All eyes on me now. Customers froze like I’d just pulled a gun. One dude dropped his bag of gummies.
“WHO OWNS THIS PLACE?” I said, loud enough for everyone to hear.
Then the security came toward me to safe the day, I slammed his head on the same glass I slammed the kid but this time it cracked

The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."

Even worse was overhearing Darrell laugh to his friends: "She's useful—obedient, doesn't cause trouble, handles housework, and I can fuck her whenever I need relief. She's basically a live-in maid with benefits." He made crude thrusting gestures, sending his friends into laughter.
In despair, Sable left, reclaimed her true identity, and married her childhood neighbor—Lycan King Caelan, nine years her senior and her fated mate. Now Darrell desperately tries to win her back. How will her revenge unfold?

Triplet Alpha: My Fated Mates
"No." "I'm fine."
"Fuck," he breathes. "You're—"
"Don't." My voice cracks. "Please don't say it."
"Aroused." He says it anyway. "You're aroused."
"I'm not—"
"Your scent." His nostrils flare. "Kara, you smell like—"
"Stop." I cover my face with my hands. "Just—stop."
Then his hand on my wrist, pulling my hands away.
"There's nothing wrong with wanting us," he says softly. "It's natural. You're our mate. We're yours."
"I know." My voice is barely a whisper.
I spent ten years as a ghost in the Sterling mansion—a debt slave to the triplet Alphas who made my life hell. They called me "Carrot," shoved me into frozen rivers, and left me to die in the snow when I was eleven.
On my eighteenth birthday, everything changed. My first shift released a scent of white musk and first snow—and three former tormentors stood outside my door, claiming I was their fated mate. All three of them.
Overnight, the debt vanished. Asher's commands turned to vows, Blake's fists became trembling apologies, and Cole swore they'd been waiting for me all along. They declared me their Luna and promised to spend their lives atoning.
My wolf howls to accept them. But one question haunts me:
Would that eleven-year-old girl, freezing and certain she would die, forgive the choice I'm about to make?
Claimed by the Alpha's Love
Four years ago, Fiona's meticulously planned conspiracy turned me from an ordinary omega into a prisoner carrying the weight of a murder charge.
Four years later, I return to a world that has changed beyond recognition.
My best friend Fiona, who is also my stepsister, has become the perfect daughter in my mother's eyes. And my ex-boyfriend, Ethan, is about to hold a high-profile mating ceremony with her.
The love, family bonds, and reputation that I once cherished have all been taken by Fiona.
Just when I had reached my breaking point, questioning the very purpose of my existence, the legendary Alpha Lucas of Moonhaven suddenly appeared in my life.
He is powerful and enigmatic, a figure that all werewolves hold in awe.
Yet, he shows an extraordinary persistence and tenderness towards me.
Is Lucas's appearance a gift from fate, or the start of another conspiracy?
The CEO Above My Desk
“I know she does.”
“And what if she doesn’t want this kind of protection?”
“She will,” I say, my voice lowering slightly. “Because she needs a man who can give her the world.”
“And if the world burns?”
My hand tightens subtly at Violet’s waist.
“Then I’ll build her a new one,” I reply. “Even if I have to burn the old one down myself.”
I don’t work for Rowan Ashcroft.
I work beneath him.
From my desk, I decide who gets access to the most ruthless CEO in the city, and who never makes it past the lobby. I manage his time, his silence, his enemies. I keep his world running while my own quietly collapses under unpaid bills, a mother locked in rehab, and a brother who vanished without a goodbye.
Rowan Ashcroft is power wrapped in a tailored suit.
Cold. Untouchable. Merciless.
He doesn’t flirt. He doesn’t smile. He doesn’t see people, only usefulness.
And for a long time, I was just useful.
Until he started watching.
A shift in his attention is subtle at first. A pause too long. A look that lingers. Orders that pull me closer instead of pushing me away. The man who stands above my desk begins to control more than my schedule, and I realize too late that being noticed by Rowan Ashcroft is far more dangerous than being ignored.
Because men like him don’t crave affection.
They crave possession.
This was supposed to be a job.
Not a test of my limits.
Not a slow, deliberate descent into his authority.
But if Rowan Ashcroft decides I belong under his desk, then so be it.
Survival has a price, and the bills don’t care how I pay them.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Forbidden Throb
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
