Introduction
On the day my half-sister and I shared our birthday, he made a grand appearance at her party while leaving me to be mocked and ridiculed by everyone: "A country bumpkin doesn't deserve to be Christopher's wife. Go back to the countryside where you belong."
I just smiled. If not for repaying the debt I owed Christopher, I would never have stayed here in the first place. Any one of my hidden identities was someone they could only look up to.
No one expected I'd have the backbone to throw the divorce papers in Christopher's face, declaring that I was the one leaving him!
Chapter 1
She'd spent five years caring for Christopher Hale through his recovery. The first thing he did after regaining his sight was dump her.
On her birthday, Edith Langley sent Christopher twenty messages.
All she got back was his cold, curt reply: [Busy. Don't bother me.]
Yet his social media showed him smiling tenderly, fingers laced with a young woman's, cutting into a three-tier cake together.
Caption: Happy birthday, my princess.
The table full of dishes she'd carefully prepared grew as cold as her heart.
What made it worse—the young woman was her half-sister, Abigail Langley. Five years ago, Abigail ran away abroad to escape the wedding, forcing Edith to marry in her place.
The birthday party was at the Wellington Hotel, filled with friends and family. Her husband. Her father. All celebrating Abigail's birthday. They looked like such a happy family.
But today was her birthday too.
No one wished her well. She'd been abandoned at home, waiting alone.
This hurt worse than Christopher's betrayal.
Edith grabbed her purse and headed straight to the Wellington.
……
At the banquet hall entrance, Edith took in the gorgeous decorations, the rose petals scattered across the floor. Her chest tightened.
Inside, Christopher leaned close to Abigail, his finger gently wiping cream from the corner of her mouth.
The devotion in his eyes was something Edith had never seen directed at her.
Five years ago, Christopher crashed his car racing because of Abigail. The accident left him blind and deaf—useless.
Everyone said Christopher would never recover, that he'd be disabled for life.
Even Christopher himself gave up hope, sinking into depression. But Edith stayed by his side. She never gave up. Not for a moment.
Edith pushed through the pain and walked in.
The lively room went quiet.
Her stepmother, Maria, rushed over and yanked her aside, voice low and sharp. "You weren't invited. Who told you to come? Have you no shame? Tonight is Abby's birthday party. Don't you dare embarrass yourself here!"
Her father, Mike, hurried over too. "You took Mrs. Hale's place. Chris treating Abby well is only fair. Don't cause a scene. Go home!"
Edith clenched her fists. After her mother died when she was ten, the Langley family kicked her out. She'd been without family for years. But hearing her father say this still made her chest ache.
She looked at Christopher. He looked away, cold and indifferent.
He knew they were mistreating her. He didn't care.
Her heart broke a little more.
"Dad," she said, voice dripping with sarcasm, "have you forgotten? You people begged me to take care of him. Now that Abigail's back, you've kept me in the dark."
"Edith, don't blame Mom and Dad. I forgot to tell you."
Abigail walked over, dressed in a white gown, pure and innocent.
"But I'm glad you came. These past five years, you took such good care of Christopher. He recovered so quickly because of you."
Edith laughed bitterly. "Chris is my husband. What gives you the right to thank me? Or is being a homewrecker something to be proud of now?"
"Edith!"
Christopher strode over, face dark, and pulled Abigail behind him.
He looked at Edith, eyes ice-cold. "You followed me here just to humiliate Abigail? Look at yourself. Do you have any dignity left?"
The way he guarded Abigail made Edith's heart feel like it was being torn apart.
"I'll have someone take you home." Christopher gave the order to his assistant without a second glance.
Edith's eyes stung.
She turned and left.
Back at the villa, the housekeeper approached. "Mrs. Hale, Mr. Hale isn't home yet. Should I reheat the food?"
"Throw it out," Edith said coldly.
She could throw away hours of cooking. But could she throw away more than a decade of loving someone?
In the bedroom, Edith didn't turn on the light.
Christopher's harsh words echoed in her ears, stabbing fresh wounds into her heart.
When she was ten, her mother died. Less than six months later, her father married Maria and brought home Abigail—same age, same birthday as Edith.
Soon after, Maria kicked her out. When she had nowhere to go, Christopher took her in. For two years, he was like a tree, sheltering her.
Then Mike and Maria sent her to the countryside. She stayed there until five years ago, when Christopher's accident happened and Abigail fled abroad. To appease the Hale family's rage, Mike dragged Edith back and forced her to marry Christopher in Abigail's place—to care for him for the rest of his life.
The world thought she married the disabled Christopher for the Hale family's wealth and power.
No one knew that the country bumpkin they all looked down on had credentials that could shake the world.
If she didn't love Christopher, no one could force her to do anything she didn't want.
But she never imagined that once the blind man could see again, the first thing he'd do was throw away his cane.
Her five years of devotion were nothing but wishful thinking.
Edith wiped her eyes and stood to turn on the light. Just as she reached the door, she heard the housekeeper's voice.
"Mr. Hale, you're home. Mrs. Hale waited a long time for you. Today… it's actually her birthday too. Would you like to see her?"
Christopher's voice was cold. "The assistant delivered the gift, didn't he? You don't need to remind me about every little thing."
Edith laughed bitterly.
He probably only remembered Abigail's birthday. He'd forgotten it was hers too.
She opened the door and looked at the man she'd loved for so long.
"Christopher, let's get a divorce."
Five years of devotion would repay the debt for him taking her in all those years ago. After this, they'd owe each other nothing.
Christopher turned to look at her, eyes filled with cold fury.
"You have no right to ask for a divorce."

Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
Oops, Wrong Girl to Bully
My back hit the desk. Pain exploded through my skull.
"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.

Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

Claimed by the Alpha's Love
Four years ago, Fiona's meticulously planned conspiracy turned me from an ordinary omega into a prisoner carrying the weight of a murder charge.
Four years later, I return to a world that has changed beyond recognition.
My best friend Fiona, who is also my stepsister, has become the perfect daughter in my mother's eyes. And my ex-boyfriend, Ethan, is about to hold a high-profile mating ceremony with her.

Just when I had reached my breaking point, questioning the very purpose of my existence, the legendary Alpha Lucas of Moonhaven suddenly appeared in my life.
He is powerful and enigmatic, a figure that all werewolves hold in awe.
Yet, he shows an extraordinary persistence and tenderness towards me.
Is Lucas's appearance a gift from fate, or the start of another conspiracy?
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
