I Ended Up in My Ex's Brother's Bed
Monica · Completed · 6.5k Words
Introduction
Pretending to be delirious from the drug's effects, I seduced his older brother all night long.
The moment I opened my eyes the next morning, I blushed and complained to Pierce, "You were way too rough last night. I can barely get out of bed."
"But you were so amazing last night. I really, really liked it."
Pierce froze. He threw away every gift I had ever given him.
Later, after all his black cards were canceled, he stormed furiously into his brother's office.
There, he saw the cold and aloof eldest son of the Pei family kneeling on one knee, putting shoes on my feet.
Chapter 1
I was drugged with an aphrodisiac by a competitor, and Dominic Blackwood threw me into his older brother Gabriel Blackwood's room.
I pretended to be delirious from the drug and clung to Gabriel, having sex with him all night.
The moment I opened my eyes the next morning, I complained to Dominic with a flushed face, "You were so rough last night, I can barely get out of bed."
"But you were so amazing last night. I really liked it."
Dominic's whole body stiffened, and he threw away all the gifts I'd given him before.
Later, all his bank cards were frozen. He stormed into Gabriel's office in a rage.
Only to see the cold and proud Gabriel kneeling on one knee, putting shoes on me.
Chapter 1
In the dining room of the Blackwood Villa, I was having breakfast alone.
Usually at this time, I'd already be standing at Dominic's bedroom door with milk and fried eggs.
"Ms. Miller, Mr. Blackwood is still sleeping. The oatmeal is getting cold."
Harper, the servant, passed by carrying a tray, glancing at me and urging me on.
I put the jam-spread toast in my mouth, feeling quite pleased.
"If it gets cold, throw it out and feed it to the dogs."
I didn't even look up, turning a page of the morning paper.
The business section had news about Gabriel being promoted to Executive Vice President of the Blackwood Group.
Gabriel in the photo looked refined and elegant, completely different from how he frantically took what he wanted that night.
Harper froze.
Just then, footsteps came from the staircase. Gabriel walked down slowly.
He pulled out the chair across from me, his eyes landing on the newspaper, the corner of his mouth barely curving up.
"Morning."
I put down the paper and got up to serve a bowl of oatmeal.
I placed it in front of him.
"Harper spent two hours making this oatmeal. Eat it while it's hot."
Gabriel raised his eyebrows in surprise, his deep eyes fixed on me.
"Thanks."
He didn't ask more questions, just picked up the spoon and took a bite.
"Tastes good."
Right then, there was noise from upstairs, followed by Dominic's shouting.
"Carolyn! Where the hell are you? Where's the shirt I'm wearing today?"
Harper flinched and was about to run upstairs.
I sat back down and picked up the unfinished toast.
Dominic rushed downstairs with messy hair.
He strode to the dining table and slammed his hands on it, glaring at me.
"Are you deaf? Didn't you hear me calling you?"
I swallowed the bread in my mouth and pulled out a napkin to wipe my lips.
Only then did I look up at him.
"Harper's in the kitchen. If you want someone to serve you, you should go shout over there."
Dominic paused, then let out a snort.
"Carolyn, what are you playing at with me?"
"It was just a stupid tie I threw away yesterday, wasn't it?"
He pulled out a chair and sat down, stretching out his long legs and putting his feet on the chair next to him.
"What? Now you've learned to use the silent treatment to get attention?"
"Pretty low-class move."
He habitually reached out to pat my head.
I picked up my coffee and took a sip, tilting my head to dodge his hand.
Dominic's fingers curled, and his face darkened.
"Carolyn!"
He slammed the table.
"Where's my water? Are you trying to let me die of thirst?"
I put down my cup, my expression calm.
"If your hand's broken, go to the hospital. If you don't want to pour water yourself, then just deal with it."
"Don't yell and scream here. You're disturbing Gabriel's breakfast."
Gabriel, who had been eating silently, paused.
Dominic looked at me, then turned to Gabriel.
"Nice, Carolyn. So now that this bastard got promoted, you think I'm not good enough anymore?"
"Already found yourself a new backer, huh?"
He stood up, pointing his finger at my nose from above.
"Don't forget, you're a dog that the Blackwood family keeps!"
"I can treat you however I want!"
"Want to seduce Gabriel? You're not worthy!"
A thud rang out as Dominic's head snapped to the side from a punch.
He covered his face, looking at Gabriel who had somehow stood up in front of him.
Gabriel pulled out a wet wipe and cleaned his hands.
"If you're eating, shut up. Has no one taught you manners?"
Dominic glared at Gabriel through gritted teeth, but seemed to hold back because of something.
He shot me a look and turned to leave.
"Carolyn, you're ruthless! Just you wait!"
Watching his retreating figure, I felt nothing.
Gabriel sat back down and put the fried egg in my bowl, his tone gentle.
"Eat more. You're too thin."

"Your Majesty... I beg—" He shoved me onto the bed. Silk tore with a sharp rip, cold air rushing over my exposed body.
"Scared?" He smirked, palm sliding down my waist, fingers tracing slow, burning circles. "Yet you shiver... not from cold."
I lunged for the candlestick, but he caught my wrist, pinning it overhead. His knee forced my legs apart.

Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.

I gasped into him, his hand sliding up to cup my jaw, holding me as if afraid I might vanish.
"You drive me insane," he breathed against my mouth, his lips trailing to my throat. "I can't lose you, Ella. Not you."
My head fell back, a soft sound escaping me as his fingers memorized my waist. My anger melted beneath his desperation.
"James..." I whispered, more plea than protest.
His hand caught mine, fingers threading together tightly. "I'll bring him back. I swear it. Just... don't turn away from me. Please."
The word please—low, ragged, almost broken—undid me more than anything else could have.
