Agatha Christie · Completed · 6.0k Words
Introduction
"Does anyone here actually use their brain before they submit something? This proposal is a joke. Pull this kind of crap again next week and the whole team loses their bonus — and honestly? Start updating your résumés."
Adrian's eyes moved slowly around the table. People stopped breathing.
Mine dropped too. But only so I could see my phone better.
Both thumbs flying under the table, I pulled up Ash's chat and sent the photo from last night — my legs in black lace stockings. Two messages followed.
Ash. My psycho boss just lost it again in front of everyone. I'm literally shaking. I want to kill someone.
Adrian stopped talking.
He'd been mid-sentence, tearing into the planning director, who looked one comment away from a full breakdown. Then his personal phone lit up on the table. He glanced down.
And froze.
The tips of his ears went red. Not pink — red. He flipped the phone face down so fast he nearly sent it flying, then straightened up and kept talking like nothing happened.
Too late. I'd already seen the screen.
Black lace stockings. My exact words.
My brain just... stopped.
Wait. Ash — who texted me every single night, who sent pictures of his abs when I asked, who once typed please don't be mad at me over a two-minute late reply — is Adrian?
My boss?
The man who makes me want to quit on a weekly basis?
Chapter 1
My boss was mid-meltdown when I started texting my online boyfriend to complain about him.
"Does anyone here actually use their brain before they submit something? This proposal is a joke. Pull this kind of crap again next week and the whole team loses their bonus — and honestly? Start updating your résumés."

My brain just... stopped.
Wait. Ash — who texted me every single night, who sent pictures of his abs when I asked, who once typed please don't be mad at me over a two-minute late reply — is Adrian?
My boss?
The man who makes me want to quit on a weekly basis?
Looking back, it wasn't that surprising.
Six months earlier, Adrian Vale had blown in as our new CEO. He worked like sleep was for other people and expected everyone else to keep up.
Within a month, I was ugly-crying in a bathroom stall on a near-daily basis.
I needed somewhere to dump all of it, so I downloaded an anonymous voice-chat app. Figured a random stranger was better than screaming into a pillow.
Ash's profile had a photo of genuinely impressive abs and a bio that said: yes, they're really mine. I added him on impulse.
Every other guy on that app either asked for my photo immediately or opened with something disgusting. Ash didn't do either. He just listened — let me ramble and cry and go off about my nightmare boss for a solid thirty minutes without saying a word.
Then, low and unhurried: "Hey, baby. Don't cry over an asshole like that. He's not worth making yourself sick over."
That voice hit me low in the chest.
I was done for.
We started dating online not long after. Every night, after Adrian had spent the day making me feel like garbage, Ash was the first person I wanted to hear.
He went along with almost everything I asked. The distance of a screen made me brave — brave enough to ask him to call me master, to send photos that made my face burn. He always sounded flustered. He always said yes.
So that sweet, soft-spoken man on my phone was Adrian this whole time?
The same man who could look me dead in the eye and gut me in front of a whole room — then turn around and beg me not to be mad at him?
One man. Two completely different people.
Adrian, you sick bastard.

He moaned against my throat as he drank, and the sound was devastating.

Letters to a Dark Prince
Thrown into Isteros Academy—a world of old money, blood money, and cruel social games—she's an outsider by birth and an afterthought by design. Her sister Solyn is the school's untouchable queen and Mara is her favorite target.
Everyone expects Atreus to treat his fiancée’s scholarship sister like everyone else does—as if she doesn’t matter.
Instead, his dorm room sits directly across from hers, close enough that she can see his light go out at night. Some nights, he climbs the old maintenance trellis just to check on her. He teaches her chess. He shows up exactly when something's gone wrong—and never once asks to be thanked for it.
"Don't fall in love with one piece," he warns her, over a board neither of them treats like a game anymore. "It punishes the person who only sees half of it."
Mara doesn't understand why the boy who's supposed to make her life harder keeps quietly making it easier—not until she realizes the anonymous stranger she's been writing to every week already has a name.
His.
He doesn't know he's writing to her, either.
By the time they find out, it's too late to stop what's already happening. Far too dangerous for anyone to find out.
In an empty studio, in the middle of a rainstorm, she asks him: 'Am I the kind of girl who kisses a boy engaged to my sister?'
He doesn't answer.
So she asks: 'What are we?’
He told her not to fall in love with one piece.
She fell anyway.
And he was never far behind.

Tango 2 the Alpha's Heart
My gaze snapped to his. He was smiling, causing my heart to skip a painful beat. Before I could respond, the music began, and my body instinctively reacted to the sweet melody.
I found myself molded to Lex's will, my feet irresistibly following the dance steps.
The crowd gasped as Lex pulled me into a more intimate position, his hands roaming over my body in a seductive manner.
The experience was both terrifying and magical, allowing me to feel every longing emotion through the dance.
I soon found myself lost in his arms.
When the music finally stopped, my arms were wrapped around his neck, his hands resting on my back, our noses almost touching. He gazed deeply into my eyes.
The ballroom fell silent.
Was he about to kiss me?

The Mafia King's Unknown Doctor Wife
My Billionaire Husband's Secret
He was the CEO of the Blackwood Group — a man whose wealth and power eclipsed ninety-nine percent of the world.
He was gentle. Romantic. Attentive. I fell for him fast.
But a year into our marriage, I began to notice something — a pattern.
Lucas's sexual appetite was intense — he wanted me almost every night. Yet every single month, he arranged a solo trip to send me away. I told myself it was his way of spoiling me.
Then a message arrived from someone called Sweet An.
Do you really know your husband?
From that day on, my life filled with shadows.
I suspected my husband of having an affair.
When Lucas and I made love, something felt wrong — his body too large, too much, like something I couldn't explain.
I heard sounds during sex — animal sounds, like something feral had crawled into bed with us.
My best friend Mia said: "There are men sick enough to let dogs fuck their wives."
The family doctor, Daisy, told me: "You could never stay by Lucas's side forever. Your background doesn't make you worthy of being his wife. Do you understand?"
I went looking for whoever had been tearing my marriage apart. I fought to win my husband back.
But the deeper I searched, the larger the secret grew — something far darker hiding beneath this supposed betrayal.
Does Lucas truly love me?
And why, out of everyone in the world, did he choose to marry me?
