Chapter 1
“congratulations. You’re pregnant.”Cyrus Mehra, the pack healer, announced with a wide smile.
My whole body froze. It felt like a bolt of lightning had struck me, pregnant? The word echoed in my head, too heavy, too unreal.
My breath caught as I turned to the healer, her face glowing with joy.
“Cyrus, please… tell me this is a joke,” I whispered, though my lips trembled with a happiness I could barely contain.
Her smile deepened. “I’m not joking, dear. It’s the truth. You’re pregnant. We’re expecting the pack’s heir.”
Her words filled my ears like a melody, sweet and endless, one I never wanted to stop. After years of waiting, years of silent prayers and bitter disappointment, I was finally going to bear the Slytherin Pack’s heir.I had only come in because of a little dizziness, but fate had given me this miracle. After seven long years, life was stirring within me.
“This is incredible news,” Cyrus said warmly. “We should inform the Alpha at once. He’ll be overjoyed.”
“Yes,” I breathed, my lips curving into a smile I couldn’t suppress. “Claus will go wild with happiness when he hears.”
But then Cyrus’s tone shifted. “There’s a problem.”My smile faltered, fear latching onto my chest like claws.
“What kind of problem?” My voice came out small, almost breaking.
“You’re burning,” she murmured, pressing her palm to my forehead for the thirteenth time, her brows knitting together. “Your womb is fragile and tender. You must be very careful, Ellie. There’s a risk you could lose the baby.”
My heart stuttered. For a moment, dread clawed at me, then eased slightly when I realized it wasn’t something worse.“So… it’s not too serious? Not something I should be terrified about?” I asked softly.
Cyrus leaned closer, her voice dropping to a whisper. “You are carrying the heir of the Slytherin Pack. Of course it’s something to be worried about. We cannot afford to lose this child.”
I swallowed, forcing a shaky chuckle. I wanted, no, needed, to believe everything would be fine.
“I can’t wait to tell Claus,” I said, determination rising in me. “I have to return to the pack house immediately.”
“Just pray it’s a boy,” Cyrus said, her smile widening again.
I giggled lightly, resting a hand over my stomach. “I don’t care about the gender. Boy or girl, I’ll cherish them with all my heart.”
“Here.” She handed me a small bottle of herbs. “Take this after your first meal every day. It will strengthen you and make labor easier.”
I accepted it carefully, clutching it close, before slipping on my cloak.
The pack grounds were always busy, and dangerous. I couldn’t risk being seen, not until Claus was the first to hear this life-changing news.
Our pack was mixed with rogue werewolves who were still trying to control themselves.
Because of this, the Moon Goddess had no choice but to appoint Claus, my mate, and his twin brother, Sylvia, as the two Alphas of the pack. With both of them ruling together, the rogues had been kept in check, and the powerless werewolves could finally breathe in peace.
I stepped out of Miss Cyrus’ healer house, pulling my cloak tighter as I walked through the market. My heart was still fluttering with joy, but I kept my head down. Then I noticed a crowd gathering.I slowed my steps, listening.
“Poor woman. What did she even do? Just asked if he wanted to buy a vegetable,” someone whispered.
“He’s the one making it look like our Alphas are devils. But the truth is, he’s the devil. Sometimes I wonder if he isn’t a hybrid witch. His eyes are always bloodly,” another muttered bitterly.
I pressed into the crowd, lowering my head as I tried to see what was happening. Of course, it was Roger, the pack’s Beta, and adviser to my mate and his brother. My stomach twisted. I should have guessed. He raised his whip high and brought it down hard against a woman’s back.
She stumbled, falling to her knees.“I’m sorry, Beta Roger! I didn’t know it was you!” she cried, tears streaming down her face.
“You dare stop me? You dare show me no respect? How dare you!” he bellowed, striking her again.
My hands clenched the hem of my cloak, trembling with anger. Roger had always been a problem. I’d begged Claus to see the truth about him, but he always brushed it off. Roger thought he was the Alpha himself, consumed with pride and power.
The Moon Goddess alone knew how much I despised him.I wanted to rush forward, to help the poor woman… but my palm brushed my stomach. My secret. My pup. If I exposed myself now, if Roger or anyone else turned on me… I couldn’t risk it.Guilt burned in my chest as I turned away and headed for the pack house.
Inside, I moved through the quiet hallway toward the court chamber where Claus would be.
I returned the greetings of the maids with soft nods, my mind heavy with everything I had just seen.
Suddenly, a strong hand yanked me into the shadows, slamming me against the wall.A startled yelp escaped me.
Golden hazel eyes stared into mine. My heart leapt. “Claus!” I whispered in relief.
But then his lips curved into a smirk.“So, you still can’t tell the difference between me and your mate?”
My blood ran cold. My eyes widened. “Sylvia,” I breathed, shoving away from him and stepping back.“Don’t you ever touch me like that again,” I hissed, my voice shaking.
His smirk twisted darker. “Or what will you do?” His tone was sharp, mocking.
Of course. How could I not have noticed? Sylvia always wore black. His aura was different, darker, heavier. Claus never had that edge. But still… the same eyes, the same voice, the same movements. They were identical, and for years, this had been my torment.
I edged back again, but too slow. His arm snaked around my waist and yanked me against his chest. My pulse raced as panic spread through me.
“Let me go!” I shoved at him, but his grip tightened.
His voice dropped to a chilling whisper, his breath hot against my ear.“How long will you make me wait, Ellie? How long before you admit I’m the one the Moon Goddess chose for you? Huh?”His gaze locked onto mine, dangerous and unyielding. “Or should I just tell Claus that we’re both tied to the same mate?”
My whole body froze.

After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire's Arms
From first crush to wedding vows, George Capulet and I had been inseparable. But in our seventh year of marriage, he began an affair with his secretary.
On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

Claimed by the Alpha's Love
Four years ago, Fiona's meticulously planned conspiracy turned me from an ordinary omega into a prisoner carrying the weight of a murder charge.
Four years later, I return to a world that has changed beyond recognition.
My best friend Fiona, who is also my stepsister, has become the perfect daughter in my mother's eyes. And my ex-boyfriend, Ethan, is about to hold a high-profile mating ceremony with her.
The love, family bonds, and reputation that I once cherished have all been taken by Fiona.
Just when I had reached my breaking point, questioning the very purpose of my existence, the legendary Alpha Lucas of Moonhaven suddenly appeared in my life.
He is powerful and enigmatic, a figure that all werewolves hold in awe.
Yet, he shows an extraordinary persistence and tenderness towards me.
Is Lucas's appearance a gift from fate, or the start of another conspiracy?
King of the Underworld
However, one fateful day, the King of the Underworld appeared before me and rescued me from the clutches of the most powerful Mafia boss's son. With his deep blue eyes fixed on mine, he spoke softly: "Sephie... short for Persephone... Queen of the Underworld. At last, I have found you." Confused by his words, I stammered out a question, “P..pardon? What does that mean?”
But he simply smiled at me and brushed my hair away from my face with gentle fingers: "You are safe now.”
Sephie, named for the Queen of the Underworld, Persephone, she's quickly finding out how she's destined to fulfill her namesake's role. Adrik is the King of the Underworld, the boss of all bosses in the city he runs.
She was a seemingly normal girl, with a normal job until it all changed one night when he walked through the front door and her life changed abruptly. Now, she finds herself on the wrong side of powerful men, but under the protection of the most powerful among them.
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
