Chapter 1
WREN’S POV
Walking towards the Alpha’s part of the pack house still feels surreal, but I know I will find my mother there and not at the other part of the pack house where we used to live with my father.
He died four years ago before I went to college, and now my mom is married to the Alpha. This is my first time coming back in four years.
I don’t know why Dad wanted her to marry the Alpha, honestly, because she would prefer to live the rest of her life with his memories, I’m sure of that. I smiled, excited to meet her after four long years.
We can spend Christmas together again though it will be different without father.
As I made my way towards the side, though, I bumped into someone who had already seen me coming because the way I was pushed to the floor with force was very intentional. I groaned at the pain in my butt, then raised my eyes.
Piper.
Piper loathed me and to think she used to be my best friend before she allowed boy drama to get in the way. She knows all of my secrets, just like I knew hers before our final year in high school. Everything changed then.
See, Piper is the daughter of the Alpha of Dark Night Pack and now my stepsister, it seems. She stared down at me with so much disdain I coiled into myself. I looked away from her piercing eyes and tried standing up, but she wasn’t having it.
She pushed me down with the heel of her wedge shoes with a sneer. She let her eyes snap with her wolf to show me just how superior she was. To remind me that she has a werewolf form and I don’t.
I told her this secret on my eighteenth birthday that I might never get a wolf and she promised to help me hide it. But the second we stopped being friends, everyone knew about it, including my parents. It’s safe to say they couldn’t wait for me to leave.
Now I’m back with small hope that we are all grown, but I should have known. Piper doesn’t forgive anyone. She has become so bitter that I don’t even recognize her most of the time.
“Where do you think you are going, Wrench?” she asked, her feet still pressing hard on my legs, making me wince more. It hurts so much!
“I’m going to see my mother” I gritted out, trying to wiggle out from her shoe, but to no avail. She’s fucking strong too.
“Ah, she wants to run to her mommy. What a weak wrench you still are” she mimicked a baby’s voice, anger shimmering in her eyes.
“Please, Piper…” I begged through gritted teeth because it is getting unbearable.
She smiled, showing her perfect white teeth, then slowly removed her foot from my leg only to kick me in the ribs. I howled, doubling over in pain, tears gathering in my eyes. I bit down a sob rushing from my throat.
“That is for you strutting in here like you fucking own the place or deserve to be here. Don’t forget you are an omega, and you have service to do for the pack. Go and remove those fucking clothes and get to work” she sneered, her face contorting.
“Pipes! Christmas shopping is waiting” a voice called from the door, and two girls showed up a few seconds later to take in the scene.
Olivia and Tori. They used to follow us around back then. We weren’t friends, but they set us up. Piper couldn’t see through the whole drama that was made to separate us but I know what they did and they knew I knew it.
I never bothered explaining to her, though, because it was not worth it. She had already decided what she wanted to do with our friendship and how she threw me under the bus about being an omega for not having a wolf.
“Ouuu, she’s back already?” one said, staring at me with disdain.
“No wonder I felt the air stuffing today. Why did she come back?” the other stomped her feet, staring at Piper as if she had all the answers.
“She wants to suffer more, and I’m here to make her life more miserable, of course” Piper grinned maliciously while checking her nails.
“But we are going to be late. We can deal with her later” Olivia said not bothering to look at me again. I wasn’t worth it.
Piper turned back to me, staring at me with a wicked smile. “If you like to go and tell your mommy what I just did, we both know she won’t even believe you”
“The woman that loves you more than her own daughter?” Tori laughed at the fact and we all know it.
My mother would never believe that Piper would do anything bad even if she was doing it right in front of her eyes. She is a good girl and I am a liar so I stopped telling her anything.
“Now girls don’t be so crude” Piper pouted. “Anyways, since you are back, you will be making dinner today for the entire pack. Don’t forget, not everyone eats the same meal.”
They turned around to leave when the girls whispered something to her and I saw the way her head angled in that predatory way when she wanted to bully people from school and I had to stop her.
“Oh, check the dungeon too. You haven’t been there for a while and I’m sure they have MISSED you. Clean it!” With that they strutted down the hall.
My heart squeezed in my chest at the thought of the dungeon because I was almost raped one time because a guard ‘mistakenly’ left a cell door open. It wasn’t a mistake!
I stood up from the floor and dragged my suitcase with me while wincing. I went to check on my mother in the master bedroom but she wasn’t there. She was in a guest room and it looks like that is where she stays.
What sort of marriage is this between her and the alpha?
I greeted her and she answered lazily though she looked a bit sick. I’m sure it’s because of my father's death. When your mate dies, you start to hate your own life.
She didn’t show any sign that she had missed me, only accepted my greeting like it was the usual day. It stung so bad but I swallowed and told her I was going to make dinner for everyone.
“Good. Alpha Ronan has been complaining about Cook lately. Since you are back you can take over.” She said lazily reclining on the bed.
I swallowed against the thick and raw hurt in my throat and set out to the room she told me to use. It was the smallest one that used to have the former Luna's stuff before she ran away.
She wasn’t Alpha Ronan’s mate and when she found her mate, she left him.
I started making the dinner first and set everything in the large dining room fit for a hundred people. Yes, I did everything alone cause the maids won’t help me.
“You are the same as us and our only difference is you are the Alpha’s stepdaughter now. But still an omega” one of them had scoffed, then they disappeared from the kitchen.
I hurried to the dungeon before the sky turned dark and just in case I asked the guards to make sure every cell was locked. Once confirmed I entered the foul smelling place and started cleaning.
I haven’t lost my touch because even when I went to college I used to work as a janitor to pay my bills. There is nothing new.
I finished as soon as I could then run away from the cat calls. The men inside were so nasty telling me what they’d do to me if I just accepted them. That they’d show me a good time to forget my sorrows.
Disgusting pigs.
While walking back to the pack house I pass by the pack gym. It was empty except for one person training vigorously half naked. My eyes widened when I realized who it was. Alpha Ronan.
I stared at him with unabashed eyes as I always do. It doesn’t matter that he is married to my mom now. He is the most handsome man I have ever seen in my life. Late thirties, dark hair and hard muscles everywhere.
He finished training and turned around. My eyes zeroed on the shape of his manhood straining against his tight sweatpants. I swallowed.
The way this man has featured in my every wet dream…

How Not To Fall For A Dragon
Which is why it was more than a little confusing when a letter arrived with my name already printed on a schedule, a dorm waiting, and classes picked out as if someone knew me better than I knew myself. Everyone knows the Academy, it’s where witches sharpen their spells, shifters master their forms, and every kind of magical creature learns to control their gifts.
Everyone except me.
I don’t even know what I am. No shifting, no magic tricks, nothing. Just a girl surrounded by people who can fly, conjure fire, or heal with a touch. So I sit through classes pretending I belong, and I listen hard for any clue that might tell me what’s hidden in my blood.
The only person more curious than me is Blake Nyvas, tall, golden-eyed, and very much a Dragon. People whisper that he’s dangerous, warn me to keep my distance. But Blake seems determined to solve the mystery of me, and somehow I trust him more than anyone else.
Maybe it’s reckless. Maybe it’s dangerous.
But when everyone else looks at me like I don’t belong, Blake looks at me like I’m a riddle worth solving.
Accardi
“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.
Genevieve loses a bet she can’t afford to pay. In a compromise, she agrees to convince any man her opponent chooses to go home with her that night. What she doesn’t realize when her sister’s friend points out the brooding man sitting alone at the bar, is that man won’t be okay with just one night with her. No, Matteo Accardi, Don of one of the largest gangs in New York City doesn’t do one night stands. Not with her anyway.

I Found the Babies
"When..." He growled in my ear, "When we will be getting married, I will be your only king, do you get my point? Only one queen, no misters or mistresses. Just me, just you, and yeah, our babies."
I shivered.
Alyssa Reynolds found herself in a situation, while returning home from work, and she had three choices:
Simply walk away and forget that you ever heard the sound of wailing infants.

He didn't finish. He didn't need to.
I didn't tell him to stop.
Instead, my fingers curled into his shirt, clutching the fabric as though it was my only anchor. Something in him snapped—something he had been holding back for too long. His mouth found mine in a kiss that wasn't tender, but hungry, desperate.
I gasped into him, his hand sliding up to cup my jaw, holding me as if afraid I might vanish.
"You drive me insane," he breathed against my mouth, his lips trailing to my throat. "I can't lose you, Ella. Not you."
My head fell back, a soft sound escaping me as his fingers memorized my waist. My anger melted beneath his desperation.
"James..." I whispered, more plea than protest.
His hand caught mine, fingers threading together tightly. "I'll bring him back. I swear it. Just... don't turn away from me. Please."
The word please—low, ragged, almost broken—undid me more than anything else could have.
Ella never imagined she would marry the man she had secretly loved for years in such a way.
When her brother Theo faced twenty-five years in prison for massive embezzlement, the ruthless business tycoon James Lancaster offered her a deal: marry him in exchange for her brother's freedom.
This wasn't a fairy tale proposal, but a carefully orchestrated revenge. Because in James's heart, Ella was the culprit who had killed his sister Cecilia. He wanted her to pay the price—to atone with a lifetime of suffering.

The head chef looked like he was silently praying for death.
I rushed forward. “Amara. Stop traumatizing these poor people.”
She spun around, delighted. “Sera! Good, you’re here. Taste this. It’s missing despair.”
The chef’s face morphed into existential crisis.
I grabbed her arm. “Put the spatula down.”
“But—”
“Down.”
With exaggerated offense, she dropped the spatula and muttered, “Fine. But if no one here has artistic vision, that’s not my fault.”
She went undercover to expose a mafia empire.
He offered her thirty nights to save her life.
