Chapter 1
Prelude…
Odessa, Wisconsin
Deep into the night, the wind picked up, carrying the message to those who could hear it. It traveled through time and space, but only a few could hear the sounds it made. Only a handful of those listening could hear and see what hummed along on the waves of the wind. It invaded at least one person's dream and she didn't want to hear it. She didn't want to bear witness to this evil of man, yet she was caught up in its fury, a reluctant voyeur, whether she wished it or not.
Cat Lamond struggled against the oncoming nightmare. This was the third terror dream in as many months and she knew how it would end. She wanted so much to open her eyes and break from the nightmare but that wasn’t how this worked. She needed to watch the whole thing play out before the connection broke.
Sweat and tears appeared on her face as she watched the knife come into view. He held the blade comfortably in his left hand. When he turned the knife, she caught a glimpse of his eyes, they were very green and very disturbed, then they were gone as he turned the knife in his hand again. His hands were smeared with her blood, and she could hear her voice begging him to let her go. She didn't want to die. There was a tearing sound echoing in her brain as he ripped through the clothing that hid her skin from him. He wanted nothing between them as he bared her chest. Before he could stop himself, the tip of the knife drew across the bottom of her rib cage, leaving a budding line of red. Blood welled and ran down her body, soaking the band of her jeans.
Cat screamed and she shivered in terror. She watched as his hand slipped inside the opening left by the knife. She felt it all as his hand searched for the prize he wanted. She felt his fingers close around the beating organ, ba-boom, ba -boom. She felt every heartbeat then the beating of her heart slowed as his fingers grabbed hold.
One last ba-boom before his fingers ripped her heart out of her chest. One last scream cut off as her breath was forced from her lungs.
But for Cat, it did not stop there, she witnessed all the rest of it too.
~****~
Cat sat up in her bed and screamed as the nightmare finally played out and released her from its grip. Her long dark hair hung in front of her eyes and she had to push it away from her face. Sweat and tears ran down her cheeks and for a moment, she didn't know where she was. Raising her hand to her chest, she could feel the rapid beating of her heart through her clothing. Taking a deep breath, she tried to calm down the fast pace of her heart.
Pushing the covers off her legs, she placed her feet on the cold floor. She barely felt the coolness as she made her way over to the windows in her bedroom. Looking over the city of Odessa, she didn't see it. Instead, she saw the streets of a faraway city of Granite Falls, Minnesota. Why she knew it was Granite Falls, she didn’t know but she did. The glass she pressed her forehead on reflected her green eyes and the haunting look in them.
Leaning on the glass between her and the real world, she felt the hot tears rolling down her cheeks. She hated the recent nightmares. In her dreams, she felt the woman's terror and pain. She never knew if they were real or not but somehow, she knew they were.
The first dream came to her about three months ago. She'd been both terrified and out of her mind with horror. She didn't understand why she was involved, but then she never did. The visions she had were not new to her. She'd had this "gift" since the accident that took not only her grandparent’s life but those of her aunt and uncle as well. The accident happened when she was seven. They had been on vacation, the same as they had always done every year since her mother had dropped her off and disappeared.
She had been thrown clear of the car. She had spent the next two weeks in a coma. When she came out of the coma, she discovered she had the gift of second sight. To her, it had become a curse and a secret she never shared with anyone, except her late husband, Davey. With him, she'd shared everything. She had only been seventeen when they got married and they had spent seven years together before the accident that took his life and left her a widow at the age of twenty four. That had been three years ago.
Now Cat stared out into the darkness surrounding the night and didn't know what to do about her dreams. A madman was on the loose. She could help the police find him, putting an end to his killing, but how could she get anyone to believe her without telling them everything?
She'd tried telling the truth once and it cost her dearly. Not everyone was comfortable around her and her gift had cost her more than one friend. Cat had been so lonely since her husband died and she prayed to find someone out there who wouldn't fear her or shun her.
She went to the kitchen to make a cup of tea. While it brewed, she thought about her options. She could ignore the dreams or act on them. If she ignored what she knew, the dreams would never stop. They would continue to plague her if she did nothing to put a stop to the killing. She didn't know if she could continue to dream about more young women being murdered.
She hadn't seen the killer's complete face, but she'd seen enough to identify him. She also knew where he lived.
Yet, if she brought what she knew to the police, they would look at her like all the rest, as if she were either involved with the crimes or she was just all out crazy. They would for sure look at her as if she were crazy, because the crimes hadn't happened yet.
She took her cup of tea over to the window seat. Parting the half curtains, she sat there and watched the sun come up. Her backyard overlooked the marshland behind the house.
She now knew that she had to go to Granite Falls to stop this killer.

After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire's Arms
From first crush to wedding vows, George Capulet and I had been inseparable. But in our seventh year of marriage, he began an affair with his secretary.
On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

Peace lasts exactly one lullaby. This is the story of an orphan pup who became a goddess by choosing her family; of four imperfect alphas learning how to be better. Steamy, fierce, and full of heart, Goddess of the Underworld is a reverse harem, found-family paranormal romance where love writes the rules and keeps three realms from falling apart.

A temperamental romance novel.
The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.
Especially - Rule Number One - No Mates

But she doesn’t know about the child she’s carrying or that the moment she left, Domonic decided rules were made to be broken - and now will he ever find her again? Will she forgive him?
A Lesson in Magic
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Forbidden Throb
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
The mafia princess return
Accidentally Crossing the Tycoon
Four years ago, the Bailey family faced a devastating financial crisis.
Just when bankruptcy seemed inevitable, a mysterious benefactor emerged, offering salvation with one condition: a contract marriage.
Rumors swirled about this enigmatic man—whispers claimed he was hideously ugly and too ashamed to show his face, possibly harboring dark, twisted obsessions.
Without hesitation, the Baileys sacrificed me to protect their precious biological daughter, forcing me to take her place as a pawn in this cold, calculated arrangement.
Luckily, in those four years, the mysterious husband never asked to meet in person.
Now, in the final year of our arrangement, the husband I've never met is demanding we meet face to face.
But disaster struck the night before my return—drunk and disoriented, I stumbled into the wrong hotel room and ended up sleeping with the legendary financial mogul, Caspar Thornton.
What the hell am I supposed to do now?
The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."
Danielle Harris is the daughter of an overprotective police chief and has led a sheltered life. As a kindergarten teacher, she's as far removed from the world of Harleys and bikers as you could get, but when she's rescued by the sexy and dangerous Austin Carver, her life is changed forever.
