Introduction
When they met again, she had another man by her side. Eric said with red eyes: "Sierra, I was the one who pursued you first." "Mr. Howard, it was also you who initiated the breakup! If you want to date me again, you might have to wait in line..." The next day, Sierra received a transfer of billions of dollars along with a diamond ring attached to it. Mr. Howard knelt down on one knee and said: "Miss Adler, I would like to cut in line."
Chapter 1
On the night of Roger Harris' engagement, Sierra Adler got drunk at a bar. She mistook someone for another person and hugged a strikingly handsome man in a dim alleyway, kissing him passionately.
After the kiss, they felt good. The gorgeous man looked down at the woman in his arms and asked with a low voice full of sex appeal, "Do you want to go further?"
Sierra sobered up and recognized the man in front of her - Eric Howard, the top lawyer in America with countless properties under his name; he was definitely an urban elite male. Of course, he also had another identity as Roger's future brother-in-law.
Sierra hesitated but then thought that if Roger could cheat on her, why couldn't she indulge herself? Instead of breaking free from Eric's embrace, she held onto him tighter.
She was beautiful and had an excellent figure. Eric held onto her slender waist while their noses touched each other's; after considering it for a moment or two he asked: "Shall we go somewhere else?"
Although Sierra was inexperienced sexually speaking, she pretended to be sophisticated by whispering into his ear seductively: "I've never tried this place before."
Eric frowned slightly but didn't care too much about it; instead he lowered his head again to kiss her passionately like many other lustful men and women in the city who were impatiently waiting for such moments.
However, Sierra had been drinking alcohol all along so after being kissed by him for some time she became somewhat confused. She leaned against Eric's shoulder like a cat and murmured softly: "Roger..."
Everything came to an abrupt halt when Eric let go of her suddenly. He leaned against the wall beside them while lighting up a cigarette before looking at her teasingly.
"Roger... how interesting! You're actually my future brother-in-law's ex-girlfriend."
Sierra was at a loss for words; she guessed that Eric must have investigated her beforehand.
Eric flicked the ash off his cigarette casually and asked: "You know who I am, right? What were you thinking when you kissed me? Did you want to sleep with me so that you could get back at Roger?"
Sierra couldn't deny it. Eric was too famous; if she said she didn't know him, it would be too hypocritical. She could only apologize humbly: "I'm sorry Mr. Howard, I disturbed you."
She wanted to leave but Eric didn't stop her.
At this moment, Sierra's phone rang - it was Olivia, her stepmother calling.
"Sierra, come home quickly! Something has happened!"
Sierra tried to ask what had happened but Olivia couldn't explain clearly and just urged her to hurry back home.
After hanging up the phone, Sierra's legs went weak again. She apologized to Eric once more: "Mr. Howard, I'm sorry."
She knew better than anyone else that she couldn't afford to offend someone like him due to his status and power.
Eric looked deeply into her eyes before standing upright and throwing his coat over her shoulders while saying: "Put this on; I'll take you home."
Sierra didn't refuse and thanked him softly before getting into his car.
Eric drove a Bentley Continental without speaking during the journey back home.
Occasionally Sierra glanced at him - he had perfect facial features with distinct contours even though one couldn't tell which brand of shirt he wore from looking at it; however it still looked expensive nonetheless.
Sierra knew that such men wouldn’t lack beautiful women around them all the time.
When they arrived at their destination and parked the car there, Eric turned his head towards Sierra while admiring her slender white legs for a few moments before taking out a name card from the glove compartment and handing it to her.
Sierra didn't expect that after knowing his identity. he still wanted to have sex with her. She rejected him gently by saying: "Mr. Howard, let's not contact each other again."
Just then, Sierra's phone beeped lightly - she thought it was Olivia calling back but when she checked it out, it turned out to be a WhatsApp message from Roger.
"Sierra, where are you?"
Eric also saw the message and laughed softly: "Miss Adler is quite loyal!"
Sierra felt embarrassed and wanted to explain herself but Eric got off the car gracefully while opening the door for her; however, she forgot about returning his coat.
Eric sat back in his car without much nostalgia for this failed encounter. Although Sierra was beautiful, he never lacked beautiful women who actively pursued him.

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
Oops, Wrong Girl to Bully
My back hit the desk. Pain exploded through my skull.
"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.
Someone... please...
